I almost missed this place when driving by looking for my takeout spot - not because it was hidden but because it was so brightly lit up with twinkle lights and a table set up at the door I thought it was a party. Instead it was their way of using the venue space as a safe and fun way for pick up orders. I ordered the kimchi fried rice, fried chicken, and OG bowl. All were delicious and very filling. My partner and I shared everything and it was a good portion for dinner but no leftovers! I was only slightly disappointed in the size of the fried chicken, which was only 2 drumsticks - mainly because I gave my partner the bigger one. The OG bowl had lots of spice and flavor and was served with an egg in the shape of a heart. The food was packaged neatly and in an adorable box and every bowl and my bag had my name on it. Glad I tried this place. I came with my partner so that we would be able to get the food and not worry about parking but it's on a bit of a empty side street (at least empty right now during COVID ) and the table to pick up was right there on the sidewalk so you could probably do it by yourself, which is a bonus because parking for takeout in the grove can be a pain.

Friendly staff and great food. I think that pretty much sums it up nicely. Ok, fine, I'll tell you more. The 'Oh, you spicy huh' dish was delish. I liked that it was the perfect balance of spice, which my wife was thankful for. LOL. It was a perfectly balanced dish with just enough of each component which when eaten together gave you that perfect bite. Now if you're like me, and basically a savage, then I think you'll appreciate the Kimchi Fried Rice. If you thought the normal dish was great by itself, mix the 2 of these together and you're in Korean Food heaven. The tea was interesting, as I wasn't expecting so much effervescence, but it was a nice refresher to the meal. And what better way to finish the meal with those cookies. The perfect amount of sweet to end the meal.

Bulgogi beef bowl. Dry, flavorless beef. White rice underneath was cold and hard.

This was ordered via GrubHub. Delivery issues aside, this was terrible food quality. Their "kimchi" was basically cabbage painted with the spice and sauce. It was like eating stale cabbage with just a slight flavor of "fermentation". This made the Kim chi fried rice super bland. There was also clumps of hard white rice throughout the fried rice. The bulgogi in the bowl was dry and stringy and completely bland. Again, it was like they decided to just paint the bulgogi sauce on the meat instead of marinating it. The rice underneath was bland and hard. Terrible representation of true, delicious Korean food.

Stingiest bibimbap I've ever had. It's not worth the price for such an empty bowl. Also they don't taste authentic at all.

Today we finally tried the food from the 2 Korean Girls's gohst kitchen in Brickell. Prior to ordering I had read great things about the food from this psuedo--restaurant and as a korean Food lover I was highly intrigued. The food was pretty good quality straight forward bibimbap and we also tried their KFC and fried rice which were also satisfactory. What threw me off more than anything, was the location and the pick up process. When you aarrive to the parking lot where this kitchen is located, there are a few food trucks and the 2KG is served out of a TGIF truck - which definitely was not the best look. Also there is no way to sit.

Just a quirky little spot. The Yelp Elite event was an experience that was both reasonably priced and an opportunity to learn something new. The kit came well stocked with all of the necessary ingredients. The instructor walked you through the preparation really well and the dish was amazing. The staff was helpful and quick when I went to pick up my order. And yes just like everyone before me I illegally parked in front. I think that was the only downfall parking. But loved the experience and

honestly the food was kinda mediocre and flavorless? maybe im spoiled because i eat out so much and home cook food like this so much- but it just didn't ... hot the spot at all For one: my main meal ( the Do You bowl ) barley had any meat? in the photo it looks like a lot but thats just how the placement was- it also was in one giant chunk so i had to cut it myself lol which is kinda annoying if im already overpaying for rice and meat. besides that, the egg was pretty but thats not how it should be cooked... the egg should be a little gummy or fully runny- this was way overcooked. Second meal: the Kimchi fried rice. so im not sure if i misread the menu and i got a rice included with the meal or if i accidentally ordered a second- or if they accidentally gave me a free one, but dont expect much from it. you can BARLEY taste the kimchi. Honestly the rice was so flavorless i had to add sauces and stuff to it the Tteokbokki was not good. i threw it away. WAYYY sweeter than it should be and not much other flavor besides that. never ever having it here again also i ordered one of every sauce (which they charge a lot for) and they didnt give me ANY SAUCES. i had to use my own. ridiculous only reason it gets two stars is because its still edible, just boring and the presentation is fantastic this is TOTALLY a place to get food for instagram, but not somewhere to go when ur actually hungry

Amazing food!! The chicken was very tender , the best thing was the rice because it was very savory. Would definitely recommend this place and try out other menu items. When you order, you get this super cute box and I am keeping it as a souvenir

Their "perfect wing" nothing like the photo
    Jamie T.

Over priced and misleading photos. I got two orders of their Korean wings which are already pretty overpriced at $12 for two drumsticks, however the photos looked like big drumsticks and they claim the perfect meat to skin ratio... all 4 wings came in micro sized almost just skin and bone.

Absolutely delicious ALL GLUTEN FREE MENU. Smack in the heart of Coconut Grove, this is a pick up and delivery only business. I found picking up super easy, as you can park right up by their open front counter. So happy I got to enjoy this YES! Event. Elite perks yay!! LOVED the bowl, "Oh, you spicy huh," the bubble tea, and the cookie. Dying to get back there for more!

    Korean Fried Chicken (2 pieces)

2 Korean Girls is a great addition to the bustling Coconut Grove and Miami dining scenes. In general, Miami has lacked when it comes to options for Korean food. I am so glad we now have this choice for takeout! My girlfriend and I decided to place an order from here while on the way home from running errands over the weekend. We each had an order of the "Oh You Spicy, Huh?" bowls featuring rice, Korean chicken, wasabi, and egg, and we split the Korean Fried Chicken appetizer (2 pieces of chicken total, so one piece each). The food was ready for pick up about 20 minutes from placing the order, and came nearly backed in Korean news paper inside of a nicely decorated box! The employee at the front of the pick up area was so nice and was making small talk to an older couple that was visiting Coconut Grove from out of state. After she finished with them and gave me our order, she directed me towards a bowl of Twizzler's candy, saying we were free to take a handfull home with us. The presentation of the food was nice, and so was the food itself. I thought the prices for each of the bowls we ordered ($15) was fair. The Korean Chicken appetizer was delicious, but at $9 for two pieces, we may want to try another appetizer next time or even a dessert. All of the ingredients in the bowl: from the rice, to the pieces of chicken, heart-shaped egg, and kimchi was fresh. We did not find our particular "spicy" bowls overly spicy. On the contrary, we thought that they were perfectly spiced. I foresee plenty of visits to 2 Korean Girls in the future! I definitely want to try their original Bibimbap next with the beef as the protein choice. 2 Korean Girls' food is definitely a craving and something Miami has been desperately needing! Overall, I am very glad that both the West Kendall area (in KIMBOP) and now Coconut Grove have viable Korean options for take out.

Oh You Spicy Huh bowl and kimchi fried rice
    Adam L.

It's official, Coconut Grove has a legit korean restaurant. This place just opened 2 weeks ago, and thankfully got to try it last night. For starters, i LOVE bibimbap, which is a korean rice bowl usually will meat, veggies, and topped with an egg. Usually in a stone bowl but obviously not for takeout which is all they currently offer. Onto what really matters, the food. The bibimbap bowl (i got Oh You Spicy Huh, yes, they have cute/kitschy names for all the items) was just amazing. The veggies were fresh, the egg was heart shaped, but the chicken i seriously couldve eaten pounds of. It was so flavorful and tender, just amazing. I also ordered the Kimchi Fried Rice. The portion is a bit small (about a cup for $8), but absolutely delicious and worth every penny. Authentic Korean Bibimbap? Check Great service/staff? Check Cutest/Coolest Packaging youve ever seen? Check If you are looking for GREAT korean food IN the Grove, please support this place. I hope this place stays around for a long time.

The Green Curry is the restaurant at its best: aromatic, velvety, and layered with the slow-building heat that defines great Thai cooking. Each spoonful reveals a new note sweet coconut, sharp kaffir lime, a whisper of garlic and vegetables that still have life in them, never overcooked, each one chosen with intent. But it's the Crispy Tofu with Tamarind Sauce that steals the evening. Golden edged, cloud-soft inside, and dressed in a glaze that hits the perfect chord between sweet, tangy, and bright. It's the kind of dish that causes a moment of happy silence at the table, followed by the inevitable: "We're ordering another one." For families, the menu is forgiving and generous mild options for kids, bold ones for adventurous eaters, and portions that actually respect the appetite of hungry people. For couples, the atmosphere is a quiet kind of romantic, the sort of setting where conversations stretch naturally between bites. Service is where Atk Vegan Thai truly shines. The staff moves with a sincerity that's increasingly rare: attentive without hovering, thoughtful without pretense. There's a sense that they care about the food, about your experience, and about the reputation they've built dish by dish. In a city full of noise, Atk Vegan Thai stands out by speaking softly and cooking brilliantly. This is the type of restaurant that earns loyalty the old fashioned way: through heart, hospitality, and food that lingers in your memory long after you've left. The mix of lemon tahini, mango aioli, a touch of spicy relish, caramelized plantains, and roasted red pepper sauce gives it a really layered flavor without feeling heavy. Everything works together, and nothing competes. We also had the Cilantro Falafel Bowl, which comes with a base of hummus and lemon cabbage salad. The falafel with lemon tahini is crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the bowl is packed with roasted cabbage, cherry tomatoes, English cucumbers, chickpeas, pickles, pickled red cabbage, and pita wedges. It's simple, very fresh, and filling in a clean way. One thing that stands out at Happeas is the personalized attention, you actually feel taken care of, and there's a good chance you'll meet the owner while you're there. When I asked for the check, the response was a slightly curt "give me a minute," which didn't feel very warm. He then went on to drop off water bottles at other tables before circling back to ask if we wanted coffee. All in all: adorable atmosphere (bathroom included), decent food, but mid for the price point and service that didn't quite match the setting.
