They introduced me to a beautiful all-white female, and from the moment I met her, I knew she was the one. She was an incredible companion and brought joy to our family for 13 1/2 wonderful years. Notes: Over the last 11 years we have purchased 4 GSD from Fleischerheim. They have ranged from the 2nd tier to the highest tier. We have loved each and every one. They have had distinct personalities and were beautiful. Every one was fantastic with the family. One is more protective, one was an incredible tracker, one was playful and the latest is still young but may turn out to be all of it. You have to remember that personalities are individual and develop as they grow. How they act will depend quite a bit on you the owner and how you train and interact. Our 11 year GSD still romps and plays with the puppy she is protective of my family and barks at strangers just as I want her to do as I feel safer traveling for work knowing she is at home.

I showed up to the adoption event the next week and there he was!! I feel if they truly cared about the animals they would be accommodating and work harder to rehome. My daughter inquired about adopting the dog and she was totally ignored and was never contacted about the adoption. In fact, the owner blocked her. I have no idea what her issue was. I feel if she actually cared about the animals, she would do everything possible to get her dogs adopted. We are dog people. My daughter showed dogs in 4-h. We have always had dogs. It's just crazy how this woman is treating potential customers because we're not her first bad review. It makes me question her motives.

SUPER disorganized, I filled out all the paperwork ahead of time and show up 10 mins early for the initial session. They can't find my paperwork (it's electronic). They require me to manually fill out paperwork onsite so I miss the initial 10mins of training. They upsold me on a long leash. Fast forward to week 3 of 6 I attended the next level (later learned that means pay more)" trainer quickly saw my dog needed a prong training collar. Honestly downhill from there. I thought it (sold to me) was supposed to be graduated from week to week. Nope. Same basic, standard training every week that my dog already knew or didn't really need to learn (roundabouts, treat-eye trick, etc). I learned the trainer I thought my dog would graduate (was ready for) to was actually an additional yearly amount. Bait and switch. I actually left midsession the 6th out of 8 sessions because it was a waist of time for me and my dog. I will also add the main trainer I had after week one was very into positive, treat motivation only training. My dog is my best friend and he almost reprimanded me when I raised my voice at her when she didn't initially listen. I could go on but needless to say they never contacted me when I didn't come back. If you have a puppy or new dog it might be good for you but not for those with special needs or extended training, look elsewhere. I just started with a trainer that can focus on my dog's particular needs. I will add that update soon.

Unfortunately, my recent interaction with the owner was one of the worst and shocking customer service experiences I've ever had. One of my dogs is a high-anxiety rescue who requires medication for grooming, and couldn't be groomed that day due to construction noise going on at the facility. When I asked to briefly speak with the owner about the situation, he interrupted me before I could explain and said, "That noise is not our problem. I don't care." When I questioned that response, he repeated, "I don't care. Just leave." I was honestly stunned and simply picked up my dogs and left. A few minutes later he called me. Instead of speaking to me in a professional way, he immediately justified his behavior by saying he was stressed because of the construction. When I told him I wasn't returning he called me a "two-faced b****" and told me to "f*** off" before hanging up on me. The front desk staff were kind and professional, and Amber has always been wonderful with my dogs. But the way I was spoken to by the owner was shocking and completely unacceptable. Pet owners trust businesses like this with animals that are essentially members of their family. Being told "I don't care" twice by the person running the business, followed by that kind of treatment, destroyed any confidence I had in returning. Because of this experience, I will not be bringing my dogs back.
