I'm not gonna go into the full details of my experience, but just know it was absolutely abysmal. I reached out to the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, the BBB, and the Crash Champions email, the info@crashchampions one. They better not respond to this review (if they do), and say please email us, because I already did. If you'd like to read my full experience with them, refer to the BBB review I left on their site. Btw, Crash Champions' response to me was poor as they took zero accountability and simply stated a fact that they called me to schedule the appointment. Didn't even say sorry. Besides that, there are many things wrong with this shop: 1. Their MVC Registration expired in 2024 and they have it all covered up on the left side of the front desk counter with hand sanitizer, etc. 2. They didn't want to give me a receipt when the work was done. 3. The new manager, John, is extremely incompetent. Please get your act together. Unprofessional on the phone, little to no communication, etc. I could truly go on and on but for that, I'll put it on the BBB. The one and only good thing about this shop is the front desk lady, Monica. She is so sweet and just wants to do the right thing and get my issue resolved. Overall, the new management is slowly ruining this shop's ethics, integrity, and reputation. They were actually pretty good when I took my car there a couple years ago, now it's just gone downhill. I contacted about five shops, both near and farther from home, and received various offers. The main reasons I chose WTC Wraps were the high-quality film they use (Stek Dynoshield) and their impressive record of over one hundred perfect 5-star reviews. Sometimes you just know you're making the right decision after speaking with the people behind the business -- and that was exactly my experience with Rob, the owner of WTC. Communication with him was seamless, both in writing and in person when I visited the shop. Rob was kind, patient, knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. He took the time to explain how PPF works and answered all of my questions thoroughly. He also offered a very fair and generous price for the scope of the project, which I truly appreciated. Before leaving my car, Rob walked me through the installation area, showed me examples, and explained that small water bubbles are completely normal and will disappear after the PPF fully cures in a few weeks. He even scheduled a follow-up inspection after one month to make sure everything settles perfectly. When they called to give me the service window they didn't identify themselves. The caller said, "This is XXXX, I'll be there between 10 and 12". I said, "who?". He responded, "From the glass place". I'm like, "What glass place?" Finally, he said he was coming to replace my windshield but still never identified the company he worked for. 2. I went outside and asked the installer if I could get him anything. He responded, "Yeah, a new job" and went on to complain that my truck was too tall. I offered him a choice of ladders and he said "No, I will stand on my toolbox if I have to". 3. When I heard him packing up I went back outside only to have him complain about what a "Pain in the ass" the job was, and how they lost money on the job because it took him two hours plus 30 minutes to get to my house. 4. As I stood there listening him to go on and on about how much they lost on the job I noticed that the front windshield, of the windshield replacement truck, was spider-webbed with cracks. Really? I did a lot of research on which tint I should get, and more importantly, who to get it done by. Sunrays had perfect reviews on various websites that were clearly legitimate. One competitor (if you can even call them one) was Tropic Window Tinting. They have mostly good reviews, aside from a couple that stood out. One of them was a review about them damaging the weather-stripping on a customer's car. Their response: "sorry for the inconvenience"... wow! A second poor review Tropic had was that they misaligned window tint on a window so there was sunlight leaking through the side. Their response was, "sorry you weren't happy." What kind of company says that to a customer? Doug at Sunrays will redo your tint for free if something comes out wrong; and he will bump an appointment or make time for you to get it done, rather than make you wait or deny responsibility. Regardless, his work looks perfect. Nevertheless, that tell you the kind of person you're dealing with.

DO NOT USE!…read more I made an appointment for my Toyota FJ Cruiser, which needs a few specialty parts (I've had the windshield done before so I know this) and they quoted me $371. On the day of the install, the tech calls and said "I dont have the parts, they didn't tell me I needed them." Ok, very frustrating, but I rescheduled AND called back to CONFIRM that they knew what vehicle they were replacing. They said yes, all set. Then, on the morning of the second appointment, the tech called me and said, "Okay, so it will be $651." Yes, almost THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS more. I called the office and the guy said, "well, it's an FJ Cruiser and it needs special parts." Well no kidding, you knew that from the beginning! What an absolute joke and waste of my time. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. There is no way they have a 4.7 out of 5 stars, that has to be fake. Run as fast as you can from this joke of a company.

I don't know why this company has so many negative reviews. I just had my windshield replaced by…read morethem and the whole experience, soup to nuts, was excellent! I called around to check prices with a few local shops, by the quotes were all a bit high. I checked Yelp reviews and I was going to skip over Safelite, but I figured at least I could get a quote. The quote was at least $100 less than the next lowest price. On top of that, I found coupons online for $80 off, which worked. The company does charge an extra $40 recycling fee for the old glass and tax. I went all the way and booked an appointment for a few days out. I received text and email confirmations. The tech called to let me know when he was on the way to my location. He arrived within the appointment time and he performed all of the work to replace a cracked windshield within about an hour and a half, which included rust touchup. The windshield came with a new rubber boarder, which I am grateful, since the old one was worn and frayed. Chris, the tech, was polite, knowledgeable, and skilled. He did everything right! Cleaned up, tightened up everything, checked his work, and cleaned up everything! The service was performed at my location, not in the shop. There are very few companies that go through the great level of service as this fella did. My windshield is shiny and new. I am very pleased! They guarantee everything.

They replaced my alternator at a very good price, and they were even willing to drive me home so I didn't have to wait in the waiting room. At the same time, I was having power steering issues. Shortly before my alternator died, I was at my local Subaru dealership for a safety recall, and I asked Subaru to look the power steering issue. They quoted me at $1000 for a power steering rack, plus an additional $1000 if I needed a new power steering pump. Needless to say, I didn't have Subaru fix it for me at that time. So, when I went to Knight's for my alternator, I asked them to look at the power steering issue, since they were working on my car anyway. Apparently, all I needed was a new power steering belt, which was about $100 for parts and labor, and it fixed my problem perfectly! I know dealerships tend to kill you on pricing, but $100 compared to $2000+? Come on. I also had a radiator hose burst on me this week, leaving me unable to drive to work. I dropped my car off as soon as they opened, and even though they were insanely busy, they had me on my way to work about 2 hours later. Everyone is super pleasant and polite. Hopefully I wont have any car issues for a while, but if I do, I'll surely be coming back to Knights.
