From the moment Julian arrived at our home to inspect our roof we knew we had picked the right roofing company. They were informative, honest, and always arrived on time. The team they sent out to install the roof arrived on time as promised and did an amazing job of installing and cleanup when they were done. Another team came out to install the gutters and again did an amazing job. We were upgraded to class 4 shingles which also got a discount on our insurance. Prompt initial response but terrible follow up. Ultimately, a waste of time. We called 1st priority about a leaking roof and had a project consultant over to assess it within a day. He seamed helpful and knowledgeable, assessing the issue and explaining some potential solutions. He said he would follow up in a few days with a quote. 6 weeks later, he hasn't initiated contact once and continuously cites delays with suppliers and the labor crew. We can only assume he doesn't want the job and is holding out for us to move on. It's fine if the job isn't a fit, but we would have appreciated hearing that directly 6 weeks ago. read more

We had some roofing materials come loose during the last windstorm and I called 1st Priority who had redone our roof five years ago. I left an email on their site, they came out lickety-split, and took care of the problem. Their estimate aligned with the insurance company so we hired them. We dealt mainly with Gregg at 1st Priority. He was very professional throughout the project. I started working with this company as their office manager in July. I am so impressed with their kindness, professionalism and systems they have in place. The Field Supervisors (project managers) are all very thorough and just really good people. The owners are amazing and caring. I would highly recommend this company - not because I work there, but because they're really good! They've been in business for 9 years. If you have a real estate deal with a closing coming up, they'll move you to the top. We're experts at dealing with insurance companies - which is no easy task. I don't understand how this business has so many great reviews. They really dropped the ball with my roof. Their customer service is total crap! Not only are they rude but they never call you back what-so-ever. I literally had to call SEVEN times to find out what day they were going to do my roof and they still never called me back at all. Their crew just showed up. Although my project manager was excellent, I cannot grant them a great review because of their customer service. Every company should know that your customer service is a gateway to the company and how you earn business. We requested an inspection after having a severe hail storm. We knew many other homes in our development suffered significant damage so we expected the same. The company was very quick with scheduling the inspection but it went downhill from there. When the guy arrived (I think his name was Mike), he immediately decided to help himself into the front door and walked thru the house with his ladder. He went outback and climbed up his ladder and took a look. He didn't even get onto the roof and inspect the entire roof. We were told we had no damage. I didn't get a good feeling about this so I had not one but TWO more contractors come out for inspections, both of who concluded we should be getting a new roof. As soon as the insurance adjuster got on the roof, he said we new roof was a must. Big miss by this company and I do not recommend them to anyone. read more

The motto "the customer comes first" is rare to find in a company these days. 1st Priority Roofing is a company that uses this motto in it's daily operations. We had damage to our roof and vinyl siding from a hail storm in 2018, had hired a contractor to do the work and they promptly dropped the ball leaving us high and dry. After being dropped, we called 1st Priority because my sister-in-law was extremely happy with the job that they did for her from the same storm. From the moment 1st Priority was contacted, my wife and I could tell that we were going to be happy with the outcome The sales person, Vadym, was very detail oriented and noted things upon his inspection that the insurance adjustor and the previous company we tried to use didn't note. Vadym quickly followed up with insurance to be sure all bases were covered and had the work scheduled to begin within 2 weeks of contacting the company. Work went smoothly, a couple of issues came up with siding that Project Manager, Mike, followed up with and fixed so that we were very satisfied customers. Prior to making the final payment, we noted that we did not receive appropriate funds from insurance to cover all the costs from the contract that was signed. An email was sent describing out predicament and asked how to proceed. Sylvia, the account manager, called me the next morning to discuss the pickle I was in. She offered to speak to the owners about our situation. Billy and Josh were open to discussing options and we were able to settle on a very suitable solution. read more

I paid for a premium contractor and found a hack at best. First Priority Roofing treated my home like a trash can by leaving personal and construction trash for me to clean up. We picked up gallons of nails in the yard and in the drive way. They lied to the building department on the permit valuation. They didn't follow code or the manufactures recommendation for install. It took them months longer than promised to complete. They installed roof vents that don't match. When they said that they would paint the flashing; that doesn't mean that the paint will match (rattle can paint). They painted overspray on the new shingles and the chimney. They will cut every corner to save a buck and can't keep a promise when they say that they will make it right. read more

Great sales person (is why we chose them), but shoddy workmanship and even worse office management. The owner's mom Silvia is the account manager with zero training in customer service because she's a sad grumpy old lady. Also unfortunately the company sub contracts out the world so the quality of work is just not great. Things like the gutters not installed correctly, trash was not picked up, nails left throughout the yard. We asked them back to correct mistakes over the course of a few months and then COVID hit so everything was closed down for awhile however that didn't stop Sylvia from harassing us about payment and threatening collections even though she never sent us a final bill to review and had the audacity to tell me that I'm lying about never receiving the final invoice. I eventually spoke with someone else in the office took care of the final payment promptly. I like to support small businesses but not when their service and people suck. Also, the reason they have great reviews on Google is because they give you a big discount off your bill to write a positive review and of course people do it to save dough. read more

I had pretty extensive hail damage mid June of this year. They stopped by, took a look and said that they could handle all aspects of the repairs...meeting with my insurance company, submitting paperwork, replacing the roof, gutters, new paint...everything...even with the city of Littleton for the roof inspections. As a woman, I felt discounted by 10-15 "other" roofing company's sales"men" that I did not understand roofs or business. I learned you MUST check references! After 18 months, I did understand the roof terminology and roof contract language and finally chose this company. I am so glad I did! I finally had that "gut" feeling that something was different when I talked with Greg, their sales person. I met with not only with him but the area sales manager who drove all the way from Colorado Springs to help me in my decision. They were never pushy. These people are honest and willing to work with you with from your contract to the details of the actual job. This is so hard to find in the roofing industry...even those that supposedly are rated five star! BE CAREFUL as so many of these companies only care about THEIR profits and not the customer. FYI, don't ever give any of them a cent until roofing materials are at your home and at the most, then, only a certain percentage to begin the work and no final payment until ALL WORK is done! Their crew are some of the hardest working people I have ever seen and respectful of one's property. Thank you and I would hire this company again with this same team! NOT RECOMMENDED! Unprofessional subcontractors. Make no mistake 1st priority did not use an in-house crew for the replacement of the roof and gutters on my property like their website leads you to believe. From beginning to end it was a total nightmare! Poor communication from Ryan Graham (Project Manager) & Josh Murdock (Co-owner) left me wishing I'd just done the work myself. Their hired subcontractors damaged/disrespected the property on several occasions: 1. Their roofing contractors backed a trailer into the garage door making it unusable for several weeks until it was finally replaced. 2. Their chosen gutter contractors damaged (literally hacked) the newly installed roof prior to the final roofing inspection to install gutters that do not drain properly and look terrible. 3. Their chosen gutter contractors drilled through a newly installed roofing drip edge to secure a ladder they were told not to use or move that was left for the final city inspection and said nothing about it. 4. Their chosen gutter contractors left trash and nails everywhere on the property when they finished and then left unannounced. 5. Ladders for inspections were left standing against the house for a week despite asking the company to remove them prior to the upcoming holiday weekend giving access to a thief I had to run off the property and call the police over. 6. I had to remind Ryan Graham the project manager that our county required a mid-roof inspection during the re-roof. Otherwise it looked like their subcontractors would have finished the roof without ever doing the mid-roof inspection. 7. The roof failed the final inspection and had to be rescheduled. When all was said and done, I'm pretty sure I spent more time on the roof/phone dealing with all the problems then all the subcontractors involved doing the work did. read more

I have never been so disappointed in a company as I am in 1st Priority and will never, ever go to this company again. I had work done on the siding and roof of my house. Description of the work to be completed was not met. Communication was practically non-existent. It took weeks for someone to reply. The work was horrible and it took months to get something even remotely acceptable. I had neighbors who also needed to have work done and when they saw the problems I was going through decided to go elsewhere. Never, Never, Never Again. read more

Allowing for the storm it took 1st Priority quite a while to schedule. Then their final bill came with scammer charges of overhead and profit they believe they are entitled to to the tune of over $1800 more than the original estimate. Three other companies were called following receipt of the much inflated bill to give estimates and all stated they would accomplish the work for $400 less than the original estimate given by 1st priority. All three said the overhead and profit is a scam intended to siphon more money of an insurance settlement. Tar was left in a rear gutter which when it rained leaked all over the deck causing three separate needs to use a power washer, and I had to get up there and clean it out. Trash was left in my yard by their workers. At a friends house 1st priority canceled twice, still left trash in the yard, and didn't pick up left over roofing materials instead leaving them blocking their driveway. We filed a complaint with our insurance company and will let those who ask know this isn't a company to do business with. read more
