We were introduced to Air Repair and Greg Drakewater at one of our monthly Real Estate Meetings…read more As several attendees currently use this company for their rental property HVAC systems and have been happy with their services and pricing, we decided to give them a try for our rental properties. On one of our rentals the tenant had called an HVAC company on their own instead of going through maintenance with our property manager. It seems that they were experiencing a problem with the furnace (it was winter when this occurred) and they were told it needed a new control board and the total was almost $1,000! We had our property management company inform them they should call maintenance for such problems. Then they scheduled Air Repair to check the furnace and they made a minor adjustment and charged me approximately $100. My general impression of Air Repair is that they are competent, honest, and reasonable and fair in pricing. They have since done AC repair on another property and continue to live up to their reputation.

I called a few places and no one had availability. Superior was my 3rd call and I spoke to Kevin. He spent probably 45 minutes with me on the phone, diagnosing the issue with my furnace - a faulty igniter. After he told me he probably didn't have one as my furnace is uncommon in Michigan (a Lennox), he directed me to a store where I may be able to find the part. I was able to find the part, and with his guidance, I was able to install the part and spent about $30 in total. This type of service may not have earned Superior any sales yesterday, but it earned them a customer for life. I will definitely be going to Superior when it's time to replace the AC, hot water heater, and furnace.
