We reserved a Christmas lights limo tour for December 20, 2025. We paid $639.99. The driver picked us up as planned, but the vehicle had electrical problems. There was no heat, no way to talk to the driver, no radio/audio. The windows were frosted over so you couldn't see outside. We called the driver on our cell phone. He pulled over on Highway 10 to speak to us. He got out of the cab and came back to talk with us - on the side of a highway. This was an unsafe situation. He told us he had to manually press a button in the cab for the electrical to work. He said it was getting difficult to hold button and we later found out the button was behind him, at an awkward angle. This also seemed to be unsafe. We drove to their garage where they attempted to fix the problem. They were unable to resolve the problem so they returned us home with the promise of a refund since we did not get our Christmas lights tour. I have contacted Matt by phone three times with promises of a refund, but there has been no follow-through on their end. I filed a complaint with the BBB and they also did not receive any response from Matt after their two attempts. Unsafe and poor customer service. Ive booked with matt 2 times for 8 pass. Strech limos one with red carpet one without and this will be my 3rd i need a limo for the lil wayne concert as i will be picking up my niece and nephew. every time has been amazing and i know this time will be as well every driver has been respectful and worthy of a stellar review every time i call i always get an answer and even when i have plans to book limos and dont follow thru matt has always been very respectful ive never used any other limo service beside 1st class read more

Customers beware! Matt Loegering, the owner of 1st Class Transportation, provides absolutely horrendous customer service. I reserved a 20 passenger black party bus for a wedding after-party. The bus that showed up was nothing like what was pictured when I made the reservation. Instead of a small, classy black bus we received a large white bus that was missing the rear door. There was trash left underneath the seats from previous riders (Matt refused to acknowledge this). Matt claimed that the small black bus that I had reserved had a broken tire bead so he had to send this other bus in it's place. I was never notified of this change and had I known I would've canceled the reservation and went a different route. He insisted that the bus we got was an upgrade even though it looked like garbage inside and out. The driver was extremely unprofessional when he said that he was unsure if the bus could be driven in its current condition and that we might have to Uber back from our stop (not what a wedding party wants to hear). He even used profanity when the issue was brought to his attention. The driver also claimed that he didn't know where we were going or how many stops we had scheduled even though that information was spelled out in the reservation and had not been changed. We had the bus scheduled for 3 hours but only used 30 min of the reservation because we were all so disgusted. It was so bad that we decided to dismiss the bus after we arrived at our first stop and voluntarily took Uber's home rather than getting back on the bus. We paid a premium price for what we expected to be a classy ride but it turned out to be trashy and a horrible experience. Matt refused to offer a refund even though he did not provide the service for which I paid. What we wanted was a small, classy, black bus but what we received was large, dirty, white bus that was literally falling apart (I have text messages from Matt where he acknowledges that the bus was missing the door). I would encourage anyone looking at 1st Class Transportation as an option for your transportation needs to view the photo posted along with this review. Anyone can clearly see the missing door from the inside of the bus we received. Also, read the other reviews of Matt messing up but not refunding customers. Be conscious of the fact that you are gambling when doing business with this company and you might end up losing a lot of money. If Matt messes up he will not own up to his mistake and he will keep all your money rather than making things right by offering a refund. To anyone who has been burned by Matt's predatory business practices, I would encourage you to report him to the Minnesota Better Business Bureau. People who own businesses in the service industry but refuse to provide quality customer service do not deserve to be business owners. read more

I would give zero stars. They were supposed to pick us up at 11pm from the myth and no one showed. It took multiple calls to even get ahold of someone. Then That persons tried to not take blame. They told us they could just cancel the ride and leave us stranded. We we ended up getting a lift home. Very bad service. read more

If you are considering a holiday lights tour with this company STOP now. The driver was pleasant, the car clean but the tour was not as expected. I had planned this for my elderly parents and other relatives as a Christmas outing. We drove for 2 hours and saw 15 minutes of lights. The 15 minutes were good but I was told they would plan the route based on our location....not driving 1 hour and 45 minutes to see 15 minutes of lights. I called to express my dissatisfaction and got nowhere. I wanted a partial refund. This request was declined. Based on my experience I believe I have every right to cancel my visa payment. I am choosing not to although I have every right to do this based on the service rendered. I will follow my part of the contract. I only wish Matt the owner would do the same. I had read the 1 star ratings and based on availability decided to take a chance. Wish I had not. Big mistake. Save yourself some disappointment and DO NOT use this company for holiday lights. I cannot speak for their other services. I can say though that I have not been satisfied with their customer service resolving my concerns. read more

I had a superb ride in one of the Lincoln town cars that is operated by 1St Class Transportation. The car was a bright shiny white town car polished to a T. The driver was immaculately dressed and has a very charming and professional demeanor. They service was quick, clean, and got me where I had to go on time. I would recommend 1st Class to anyone for great business or downtown transportation service. read more

Worst EVER!!!! Just want to let everyone know that we are EXTREMELY disappointed with a 1st Class Transportation. The lack of organization, compassion and professionalism is quite concerning. My wife and I are planners, and we are very detailed in our planning and organization. My daughter has had a pretty rough go of things lately, so we wanted to make sure that her birthday was something she could cherish, and remember forever. We kept the nights events a secret as we wanted her to be surprised with each step of the way. With the limo reserved, and confirmation of time in our possession, we figured that was the least of our worries. We began planning the rest of the party around that CONFIMRED rental. The one thing my wife and I have always said is that we can prepare, and work SO HARD to ensure the success of things, but you can never plan for the failure and stupidity of others...in this care...1ST CLASS TRANSPORTATION. Matt (owner)calls the day of and makes up a story about the reservation not transferring to his system, blah blah blah. Whatever, that didn't happen. He screwed up. He than asks at that point if I can just "bump" our pick up back an hour, and was surprised by my disapproval of this notion. As if I was just going to smile and say, "Yeah Matt, whatever you need." He ends the conversation with "Ill get it fixed." It was about an hour before pick up you and Matt calls and gives some story about a limo overheating and his only one that could get my daughter would be available at 6-6:30pm. Basically informing me that he never took care of it. Just figured he would wait til the last minute when we had no other option. The 6-6:30 time seems similar to the offering he had in the morning that I VERY CLEARLY Stated was not acceptable, and would not work. Guess what time the limo showed up? 6:52...for a 5:30 pick up. Needless to say my daughters party missed out on quite a few activities because of the late arrival. Very DISSAPOINTING!!!! Found out today the limo was dirty and there were half drank glasses of wine/champagne in the back as well. Nice addition to a 9 yr olds party! We booked 1st Class Transportation for a party bus for senior prom. We told Matt our most important factor was getting a bus with poles in the middle so the kids could mingle and dance during the ride. He said he had three buses available and they all had poles in the middle. We prepaid which included rental, tip and a fuel surcharge. On the night of prom, I got a text from the driver telling me she was at the location and asked how I wanted to pay. I told her I already paid and that the tip was included as well so she wouldn't ask the kids for money. The kids then texted me and said that she is asking how they will pay and there are no poles on the bus (which was the one "must have" we requested). I asked her why she didn't know that we prepaid and she said that she was with a different company and that Matt must have had an issue with the driver so we got a different bus. I then realize that she is probably texting while she is driving so I ask the kids if they are already driving and they said yes so she was texting and driving. I then texted Matt that we were disappointed that the bus that we paid for is not the one that we got. He did not respond for two days (when I was booking the bus, he always responded right away). I then texted him again that the parents were angry and would like a partial refund. I sent him a copy of our text exchange where he confirmed that there would be poles in the bus. He apologized and said there was an issue with safety with the poles so they had to remove them from the bus which seemed highly unlikely and was inconsistent with what the driver told me. There were also kids on the bus that said they had taken that bus before to other dances and there were never any poles in it. He said there would not be any type of refund. I will never use this company again and would not recommend them due to Matt's poor customer service. I understand that things happen but you should treat your customers with honesty and professionalism and try to do what it takes to make sure they are satisfied with your company. I felt lied to and dismissed. Also, when I was booking the party bus, I left several voicemails for different companies and he said he received many of them since he has multiple websites under different names. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I reserved a 20 passenger black Escalade Limo for a birthday surprise for my son and 15 family members. I confirmed with Matt several times before the event and had no issues. 45 minutes before he was to arrive he called and said the limo had a bad headlight and so he was sending a party bus. WHAT? At the point he called - he was already late as we live over an hour away. He was hoping to pressure me into a crappy party bus knowing I had 15+ people expecting a night out. I was extremely upset and his response was, "I know that sucks, but you'll still have a good time in the party bus - It's a safety issue so....." I asked about price difference - same price - no discount. When I pushed further he said he would talk to me in a few days about a possible discount. He was so snarky and slick and I just knew it was all a scam. Was there even a black Escalade? I think this is his game plan. Wait to the last minute. People are in a bind and then stick them with the crappy party bus. We cancelled. He hung up. I went through a national organization to book him so I wrote them the next day. They refunded me their portion and Matt told them he would refund mine. Never happened I got theirs but I had to put in a dispute through my credit card company to get Matt's back. After seeing the other reviews about the door being gone from the party bus I'm thankful I didn't let him pressure me into using that awful party bus. DON'T GET SCAMMED!! read more

Used first class transportation to get back to Duluth from MSP airport and it was great. Our driver Patrick was awesome, very professional, and handled everything well. We arrived at our destination earlier than expected even with some circumstances completely beyond our drivers control that held us up. Will definitely be a repeat customer. read more
