Blake Hunter ( The Owner) and the staff over at 1st Class Entertainment were an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. My husband and I were married on October 17th 2014 and since our wedding we are both still getting compliments from our guests saying what a fantastic job our DJ Jason Winn at 1st Class Entertainment did! Blake and Jason were both very engaging and made sure that every song we wanted played was played and that there wasn't a dull moment the entire night. We had provided Blake/Jason with a list of must play songs ( which were all played at appropriate times throughout the night ) and then gave some percentages of what kind of music we wanted played along with artists. There were a few songs we were stumped on like our exit song, the Anniversary dance song, and the cake cutting song. Jason's ability to come up with the perfect songs that suited us and our wedding was not only a relief but one less decision we had to make and was genius! We had a very wide range of age groups and guests from all over at our wedding so we were both nervous about how to keep everyone happy and dancing. Jason was able to gauge the audience perfectly and had an amazing mix of songs that kept everyone dancing and having a fantastic time. His ability to run the show and keep the wedding running smoothly without being the center of attention was incredible. Jason had a fun, upbeat personality that not only my husband and I loved but everyone else as well. He was friendly with guests, took requests, and had us all on the dance floor! I don't want to forget to mention the add on services which were available to us. We had 115 guests at our wedding and we were both a bit nervous that our guests in the back rows weren't going to be able to enjoy the ceremony and hear everything but we were happy to learn that 1st Class Entertainment had a few add on services which were totally affordable and what we needed. We added a Ceremony package with a PA system and Lapel Mic for only $150.00 which made such a huge difference. All of our guests in the back row were able to hear clearly and enjoy our entire ceremony from beginning to end! We also decided to add on the Custom monogram light that Blake created personally for us with our names and the date of the wedding which was stunning and great for pictures the photographer took! Lastly we added on the up lighting and the colors cascading off of the walls brought a whole different dynamic to the room and just made it look that much more beautiful! I first met Blake back in the spring when I was looking for someone to DJ a fundraiser for the charity I was working for. From my first inquiry, he was so easy to work with and incredibly professional and did an outstanding job at the fundraiser. My fiancé and I were so impressed, that we hired him right away to be the DJ for our wedding. I can't say enough good things about Blake. He made everything so easy for us at the wedding and was a joy to work with. After we sent him the vaguest outline of song choices, he took care of everything. We wound up with 1st Class Entertainment as part of our package with The Taylor Mansion for our wedding. Jason was our DJ and he was incredible!!! He played an awesome mix and was so helpful with everything. My husband and I were really struggling to pick music to walk down the aisle to for the ceremony and if weren't for Jason, we never would have discovered the Vitamin String Quartet. It was perfect for both of us, modern songs but still in a string quartet. We got so many compliments on how awesome it was and I completely credit Jason with suggesting it to us. My husband's mother passed away unexpectedly a week before our wedding and Jason was very patient with us as we took a little longer than expected to get him every thing he needed for our ceremony and reception. I swear half the songs we used were recommendations from him and they were all great! The reception music was great too, it was a nice mix and we had a blast. DJ Blake made our wedding over the top exceptional! I can not even count how many times I have heard our guests say they loved the music and the experience they had celebrating our special day. I credit that to Blake. I enjoyed working with him from the first meeting. My husband, Clint, even loved the process and attended the meetings because Blake made picking songs so much fun. He went above and beyond and even created us a custom first dance that remixed our two favorite songs, and he supplied us with the CD ahead of time so we could practice dancing together. During the reception, he kept everything running smoothly and got everyone up on the dance floor, including our grandparents! Blake has a gift!!! I would like to compliment DJ Blake of 1st Class Entertainment, we weren't your normal couple, my husband is very very particular about his music, and we met with a couple different DJs to see if they would be open to providing us with what we wanted. We had already picked out the music, and hired a band, but we needed someone to DJ the wedding and be willing to play when the band was taking a break and even after they left. I was referred to Blake from Casa Blanca, and he was a God send. He was completely laid back, he was able to accommodate everything we needed and asked for and if he didn't have the music he was able to find it. Our ceremony was in the evening and we wanted everything to be lit up with candles, but quickly realized the day of, that it would be too dark, so Blake was able to provide us with some much needed, last minute lighting the day of the event. I have to start out by saying that Blake Hunter is an amazing DJ who can adapt very quickly to his clients needs. We contracted 1st Class Entertainment with Blake for our Wedding in December at Lakeway Resort and Spa. Blake was able to beat the venues pricing on any service that both vendors offered. From up lighting to personalized lighted dance floor engrams, 1st Class Entertainment had us covered. Blake was also able to take all of our song requests and understood the flow we wanted for our event to the letter. Additionally, Blake supplies his clients with a 2 page event planner that is very easy to fill out and understand. This planner kept our evening on track and running smoothly even though my wife and I weren't able to get this form filled out and back to Blake until the days leading up to the wedding. Blake did an amazing job at our reception this weekend! We gave him our list and he was prepared with all that we asked for. We had unique songs and he played all of them! We weren't planning on having him play music for our dinner, but he got set up super quick during our turn around time and he was ready to go! We were so appreciative of that! We had an outdoor and indoor reception so the special touch of a wireless speaker was also perfect. If you are looking for a club type feel and everyone staying on the dance floor then this is your guy! The only negative was playing 3-4 polka/ waltz's in a row which are really fast and we couldn't keep going during all of them. He was professional, punctual, courteous, and readily available for my many questions.
