Having her over for this party has literally been 6 years in the making (she was originally set to be there for my daughter's 1st birthday party-- but COVID). Fast forward to last year, and once again we had to reschedule (due to getting COVID). Still, she let us reschedule and we were SO incredibly happy to finally have them today. They were friendly, professional, sweet to the kids at the party and they completely set up and took down their set up without needing anything from me. Now, the cotton candy was no JOKE! They offered a variety of flavors and the favorite of the party seemed to be green river. The kids (and adults) were stoked with it. Side note, I was half expecting the little pieces of cotton candy to fly similar to the at home cotton candy machine I have at home but everything was pretty contained! Also, don't get me started on the popcorn!!! They offered different sizes (small and large) and had different toppings and seasonings! People could customize their popcorn with seasoning like garlic, elote, Parmesan, cheddar cheese, and MORE! On the day of the party, they arrived early to set up. We booked them for balloon twisting and airbrush tattoos and all our guests, both children and adults, loved them! Their work was very beautiful and all the kids kept lining back up for more. It was adorable seeing all the tattoos and balloons everywhere! They were so great with the kids and all our guests had so much fun. Dave made my son a Winnie the Pooh balloon and he absolutely loved it. The sweet woman working with Dave (unfortunately I forget her name, my brain was all over the place at the time) made my son a little turtle balloon bracelet and he was obsessed with it! I did bring our own goodie bags to pass out in addition to the goodie bags that were included only because we did a non-food event and so I wanted to be extra and send our guests off with a tea party to-go. As a girl mom let me just rejoice and say that my daughter and I are so happy to have another location open up closer to home often frequenting the Winward location.My 3 year old is now very much in her mermaid princess era & loves getting face painting, glitter tattoos, and her nails done. The makeovers available here make her so happy. The first time daddy took her upon finding it in the mall for the first time and did an express makeover which is a quick walk in makeover. The second time I took her on walk in and it was a special moment as the mermaid who did her makeover happened to be in costume as her character mascot for her first birthday and remembered her by pictures. It was a sweet moment for all of us. This time we decided to reserve an actual package and did not regret it as spots filled up quickly after the new year. You pay half when you reserve your spot which can be done through their website and the other half after your appointment. The Mermaid squad staff was excellent and did well trading off and switching back and forth between the little princesses. It was organized, managed well and always with friendly sweet smiles that only mermaids can give princesses can. Despite that there being only two of them they both did a great job. The package included choosing an outfit to borrow for the session whether you wanted to have a mermaid be part of your world or save the day as a superhero to becoming a beautiful princess attending a royal ball it was definitely worth it with the beautiful photo backdrops and display and after the makeover, it was time to play! The smile on my daughter's face was priceless. Making friends there too was a bonus. We will return very soon making sure to reserve the appointment to allow her to have more fun time on her next visit!
