I feel like we were more than gracious when the quartz countertop for the bar was put in wrong, because NO ONE from Colonel was there when it was installed incorrectly. We figured out a solution (not ideal, but ok) so they would not have to redo the entire bar. The crew left a ditch witch behind my garage door over a weekend, along with boards and open paint that I actually backed over more than once. Sloppy, no respect for our property whatsoever. After less than a year the patio pavers needed attention once again. My husband and myself texted the owner and crickets...we had to hire a different company to come and repair it. When we met with Terry to get his vision for a retaining wall; he was friendly and knew what we wanted from the start. He was able to match the brick work that was already pre-existing in the back of our house; which was a plus! Terry and his crew scheduled a time to come out to work on the wall; and they made it look awesome! They made sure to include drainage areas and the tiered looks is just what we wanted for the steep incline in our yard. Not only do we use GLC for our retaining wall, we also use them to treat our yard and do most of the yard work. When we first moved in, our yard was filled with mostly weeds and we had a "grub" problem. Well, with their help, our yard is looking better and the grass is actually green and well taken care of! They do all sorts of treatment throughout the year for us at a decent rate and we are so lucky to have them come out to mow the lawn too! We sent a formal demand letter and ultimately had to pursue small claims court to resolve it. If you're considering this company, get a detailed written contract with a completion timeline and milestone-based payments rather than a large upfront deposit. We wish we'd done more due diligence before paying anything upfront.

I left a message and then later received a message back with a callback number. I've called three more times since then and got voicemail. I'm not sure what's going on around there in the middle of the day, but I am done trying. There are plenty of other places that would be grateful for my business.

My bid included 3 men doing hand work and use of a mini skid, two young men and their father. The initial effort was 2 young men for half a day. The youngest dumped rocks behind my property and strewn more rocks through my front yard. With re-work the majority of the rocks were removed from my neighboring property, additional rocks were removed from my landscaping, some rocks were removed from my lawn, I am still picking up rocks in the front and back. My mistake was not being around as work was being performed. Too many shortcuts were taken and efforts to resolve the matter with the father were unsuccessful. He blamed me for accepting an inappropriate bid, he overlooked his youngest shortcut methods and accused me of false facts.
