I think I just made my last appointment for this place next month and I will be seeking a new primary care doctor. They are great for accepting walk-in's I will admit however I was not pleased that they keep changing doctors. Every time I meet a new doctor, they have their own staff and nurses and I personally feel uneasy opening up to every single new provider about my past health history. The staff is nice but I need a more established doctor that I can trust and treat me in the long run. This place is very convenient from my home and on my way to work but after this last time of them changing, I am done. read more

When we bought our home just over a year ago we debated about changing our son's Pediatrician. But after two of the three got the flu last year and I had to drive 45 minutes back and forth it was decided for me. So the hunt was on. I am so thankful that after only one failed attempt we found Dr. LaCour. He is patient, funny, kind, he listens, he is attentive and he and his nurses are giving and supportive to the children. When I went to the FM 2920 clinic -Dr Bagha would not even come in the room. She was wearing 2 masks-a plastic eye mask and face mask and did not even examine me. She spoke to me at the door and did not come in the room. It was ridiculous! They did not have a Covid test and asked me to go out to a local pharmacy get a kit and bring it back. Unbelievably horrible care. I should have kept driving then vs. going back. The only reasonable thing she said was for me to go to an ER. She was afraid to write for my anti viral which I told her about.When I told her about it she told me she had to protect her license.Due to my previous health conditions- I cant take Paxlovid. I have to take Molnuporavir. Anyway the best thing she told me after 2 hours of messing with them was to go to ER. Went down the road to Houston Methodist ER and was seen. ER Dr came in without a mask; examined me and wrote for my antiviral.Literally was in and out in 20 minutes. Was very disappointed with FM 2920 care. read more

If you are going to see Dr Lacour, make sure it is only your son and not your daughters. Also make sure a man goes with you. Every time I have brought my daughters, ages 9 and 11 he makes comments about them dating and it makes my daughters uncomfortable. After the first time I told him to stop and he laughed it off and continued. He got more heavy handed with his comments. It all came to a head when I came in with my adult daughter and granddaughter for her 9 month check up. He made comments about how her buttock was coming out of her diaper and she is getting ready to wear a thong. He then proceeds to talk about how much he likes when women were skimpy bikinis at the beach and let it all hang out. He said. "I like that a lot, because i am a pig." There was ONLY women in the office and it was so uncomfortable. My husband called him and he blew my husband off after a half-hearted apology and said "You can take your kids to another doctor because I have a pretty open sense of humor." Beware of this chauvinist pig because he has no respect for the boundaries of his female patients or their mothers. read more

I cant believe the reviews are bad when my experience was incredible, unlike other pediatric offices like TCP .. We saw Dr. LaCour for my children, after many other practices that bully you and make you feel horrible this practice and Dr. LaCour was incredible experience as the first time. He was very kind and playful with my children and he actually took the time to check properly each one of my children. The nurses also were super nice. And yes this is during Covid... I highly recommend 1960 Family Practice to parents that are looking for parental choice. read more

My doctor left the practice so I went to the new one. She was nice enough. But the staff is awful here. Since my appointment was in the afternoon, I called and asked the office if I needed to fast all day if I would be having my blood drawn. They said I needed to fast 4 hours so I went ahead and had breakfast. When I got to the appointment and subsequently the blood test, the guy drawing blood said he didn't know why the front desk would say that and that you need at least 6-8 hours. Then a woman calls me a couple of days later to give me the results of the blood test and she's telling me that my LDL is 12. I was confused by that result when looking at my old results. She claimed they were using a new system. I called back. There is no "new system" she gave me the VLDL result. Staff is careless. read more

I went to this place to do a sleep study. My tech was Caitlin and she was really professional and caring. The bed is comfortable and the room is clean. Since the last review they've added cable TV. And the restroom is very clean. There isn't a restroom in the bedroom you have to go down the hall. Recently, they've added a shower. It's not a perfect place, but I would come again for a study if needed. read more

Dr Lacour has been great. He's attentive and very knowledgeable. My son is an established patient but we were recently blown off. He was discharged from the hospital and told to follow up with his doctor immediately. We felt that it was urgent because of some issues on his scan. The staff would not work us in or put us on a cancellation list. I explained that this was urgent and she suggested that I may be better off looking for a different doctor. "That's what she would do". I wonder if he knows this is going on.... read more

I am not sure what people are complaining about. We absolutely love Dr LaCour and his staff. They have helped us through numerous insurance hurdles, answer calls and emails after hours and on weekends and are always a huge help and blessing. We moved out to Cypress but are keeping Dr LaCour as our pediatrician because he is the absolute best. His staff is caring and sweet and everyone is so knowledgeable. We couldn't be more thankful that we found him!! read more

I received treatment related to disturbed sleep due to nightmares and to confirm that I don't have sleep apnea. I absolutely loved the technician, Caitlin. She was highly professional as well as warm and caring. The bed was very comfortable and the room was decorated nicely and very clean. They had a fan for air circulation, which is a must for me, as I can't sleep well without one. I checked in on Thursday night, and got a better night's sleep than I get at home, even with all the wires coming off of me. I was quite shocked to find that there was no wireless internet available. I brought my iPad and was unable to use it. My biggest complaint, however, is that there was no restroom in the bedroom, making a middle-of-the-night trip to the toilet a hassle. One must use a restroom down the hallway and shared by all patients, male and female alike. When the study is complete, you end up with lots of "goo" in your hair, face, legs and on your body. Goo is my word for sticky stuff that keep the probes connected to your skin. Because there was no restroom, there was no bathing facility or even a sink for brushing teeth. Because of the goo in patches in my long hair, it was not an option to skip a shower and go directly to school the next morning. I had to go home and shower first, causing me to be late, and pretty much throwing off my whole day. To my surprise, there was no coffee or juice in the morning. I was quite dehydrated, and had just been woken from a deep sleep at 5:00 am, so I really wanted some coffee. My daughter had a different doctor when she had a sleep study, and she got to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in a suite, could shower and prepare for work the next morning, had coffee and tea in the suite, and was served breakfast the next morning. It was a much more pleasant experience for her. If they add a bathroom with showering facilities, I will give it 4 stars. Kolaches, juice, water and coffee the next morning will earn 5 stars. read more

The front desk staff are bunch of unprofessional, unhappy , cocky incompetence people. Not a clue in customer service! Oh let's not forget the person in charge of billing . Didn't bother to find out her name but apparently she has "over 20 years experience in this ".... this is not their first tried to tell me base on my insurance policy I need to paid 100% upfront discount contract rate until I hit deductible. WRONG!!!! So condescending, cocky , piece of shit doing for over 20 years but had to get my insurance representative on the speaker right front of her to proved she's ignorant and wrong. So instead me paid $6.40 based on my 10% she swore I owed them $64!!! I guess in last 20 years she been screwing patients out their pocket. I suggest you all learned your policy and if needed get your insurance on the phone while at the office before you paid them anything! Is not the first time they pulled this in me . Even so Unapologetic bitch still has audacity to get attitude. The nerve to expect me not treat her like how she treated me ! Clearly poor service ! This office is an absolute disgrace. I am completely disgusted with the staff and their blatant disregard for the well-being of their patients. They advertise medical procedures as cosmetic ones and will do everything in their power to take advantage of you and your insurance. I had just recently moved into the area and needed my yearly preventative OBGYN check- this office had the nearest appointment availability to I confirmed without reading any reviews because they were in Network. During this check I told the Dr. and the nurses that I had no symptoms, no issues, that I was feeling 100% and that I just needed a refill on my birth control prescription. They did a 15 minute check found no irregularities then told me that I needed to have blood drawn for them to give me a refill on what is the generic birth control that I have been on for the past 4 years. I had never had a doctor request that before but I didn't stop them. One month later with no call or contact from the office I received an over $800 medical bill for the extensive and unnecessary blood work they performed. They switched my preventative visit to a diagnostic one without my knowledge and without any reason. I have spent hours on the phone with some very understanding Cigna insurance reps who have had to deal with a number of uncooperative, unhelpful, and rude employees at 1960 Family Practice. Finally the office of 1960 Family Practice told me that if I wanted them to even re-open my medical reports from my own visit to confirm what I knew happened, because I was there- I would have to pay another $100 fee immediately. This is no doctors office, they are here for one reason and one reason only- to over charge patients and insurance reps- and sell those bills to payment collections agencies. I have never written a Yelp review before but really hope that I could prevent anyone else from having to go through the same issues I had with this truly criminal place. SAME PEOPLE who goes back and forth to each building, laughing and chatting when i come in and ask IS THIS CONNECTED TO THE URGENT CARE , ER NEXT DOOR , they say yes and when i say i was waiting and no one came , this is the worst care I ever experience, NO CARE.. THE Spanish lady up front at the desk started arguing with me about ER and URGENT care. and it was crazy the nurses and maybe the Dr just stood there looking, NO ONE SAID I AM SORRY FOR THE DELAY HOW CAN WE HELP NOW... This place supposedly has an urgent care. Their idea of urgent care is to take your blood pressure & if it's ok they will schedule an appoint for another day. Went in because of severe pain, bp was ok so they told me I could schedule an appt for a few days later. Left & went to free standing er. Ended up going by ambulance to hospital. They must work hard to be this bad. On a Tuesday I went in due to chills, fever and cough. Waited almost 2 hours to see Doc despite appointment. Says I may have bacterial pneumonia and was concerned about Sepsis. Ordered blood work and chest x-ray and put me on antibiotics. Nurse told me to call back Wednesday for x-ray results. It's Friday and I've called four times and no call back. I got hold of a nurse on Wednesday and she told me she didn't know when the x-rays would be emailed and the Doc would review. The X-ray dept. is down the hall. Started calling when I didn't know hear back, but THEY DO NOT RETURN CALLS. Their voicemail says they will WITHIN 24 HOURS!! They don't even live up to that. They have a supervisor line that just says the same thing. I'm 67 years old and I've never been treated so shabbily in my life by any other business . I'm done with them.
