We make a reservations at 1933 for 12:00 on Mother's Day. When we arrived, we saw the change of ownership sign and all the waitstaff were wearing Legends shirts. The young lady at the front seemed very frazzled and we soon found out why. The dining area was packed and after we were seated we started noticing the wait staff apologizing to other tables for the delay in food coming out of the kitchen. Management had overbooked the restaurant and understaffed the kitchen. They had a limited menu yet they were struggling to get food out. We were there an hour before our food arrived and tables around us who arrived before us were still waiting for food. Our poor server Elizabeth was great but you could tell she was so stressed. Food was hit and miss Crepes were delicious Over easy eggs were overcooked and the tater tots were not crispy or warm. It's a super chill bar where you can just chill! I have come here for many Emo Night events and a couple of concerts, and I have always had a great time! I appreciate that the restaurant is attached to the venue by a little hallway so that I can sneak over for some little appetizers when I am hammered and waiting for my ride LOL My biggest complaint is that the bathroom situation is garbage. Mother's Day Disaster!!! I made reservations to take my cancer battling mother out to lunch at this establishment.. as this could be her last ..we wanted it to be a special day .. 1pm reservation.. My parents arrived 20 mins early ...this is typical for them . I'm like well I made a reservation over a week ago @ that moment I get a call from my parents who are in another area of the restaurant.. let them know they are refusing to seat us ..my dad is like well there is open tables & plenty of chairs I'll be right up ..Dad speaks with gal .. telling her there is open chairs at our table ..why can't they sit at our table ? Gal is extremely rude .. insisting there is no way we are sitting down with my sick mother..on MOTHERS DAY ..After speaking with my dad..he said they had been waiting for 20 mins just to get a drink we decided to go to else where.. just really disappointed in the entire experience.. the staff was rude.. unprepared.. obviously understaffed. Went in on a Monday to watch a football game, they had cute Halloween decorations up. The place was very spacious and not too busy for 6pm. The waiter was so sweet and accommodating for our large group. We ate on the restaurant side. It's tucked off the street in a huge building with a industrial feel with high ceilings and several enormous TV's. They have a big meeting room which is available to rent and a great outdoor patio area with misters. They have a nice big menu from burgers to appetizers and sandwiches to pick from. We ordered BBQ burgers and a cheesy flatbread and a order of Mac and Cheese. The Mac and Cheese is absolutely delicious. and you can order your cheeseburgers cooked the way you want. Here for a concert and jeez, the music they have before the bands go on is something else. I understand that the theme of the venue is an old-time speakeasy, but do we really have to listen to the golden ages of music before a show we want to be hyped up for? Also doors opened a little after 5 and bands didn't start playing till 7 which i generally wouldn't be bothered by if I wasn't being forced to listen to Elvis, The Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly, and Dean Martin. (Keep in mind, the easiest to make) We ordered our food and then about 10 minutes later everyone's food had came out except mine. Maybe 5 minutes later mine still hadn't came out yet, and me and my dad were starting to get mad. I was to a point I set a timer for 2 minutes until I would write a bad review. And guess what? Here I am! My grandpa asked about the fries and a waiter said US foods is on strike. I don't blame them for that. They can't control it. But that's not any excuse for not putting out anything on the table. No sugar, no ketchup or hot sauce or salt and pepper. (The fries weren't salty, either) So overall, don't go here if you don't want a bad meal. If you do, I strongly recommend. Great job, 1933 for ruining one of my favorite places to eat. Edit: If I could give this 0 stars and shut this place down, I would. My dad just came down with food poisoning, and we are pretty sure it was this place. In order to save some time, I decided to try out the restaurant here A few hours before My woman and I had a concert to attend next door. To say that we were underwhelmed would be an overstatement. First, we decided to try some cocktails. I went for the standard old-fashioned. She went with a blueish mix drink. She had the sirloin steak which was undercooked while being tough and chewy. I myself had the grilled chicken. The order came out to be flattened barbecue chicken breast which was nothing more than the grilled chicken slathered with a generic barbecue sauce. The waitress came back and replaced my plate with the correct order. Unfortunately it was tasteless and quite dry in certain parts of the chicken. The only high point was that the garlic mashed potatoes we both got were quite tasty. As for her fries they were dry and chewy. And my vegetables were not cooked properly. I will say that the poor waitress was extremely overworked. She didn't get to us until 20 minutes after we arrived at our table. And she did the best you could to help us with our problems within our meals. We both tried to be kind to her because I can tell that she was just about ready to break down and cry. And all she did her best to correct the situation that happened. In conclusion I'm not going to return to this eating establishment. They need better cooks and better ways of helping out their clientele. The potential for it to be a great one is there. We drove from Wasco for dinner. Waitress was super friendly and helped us make decisions on what to eat. My husband ordered a mushroom blue cheese burger and I ordered the a bowl of potato soup .
