Delicious! Very fresh and great flavor! I had several meals but my favorite was the Portobello Mushroom melt.

Few choices. Skimpy servings. Not much on the menu. Mostly junk food. Long wait time.

Pretty good cafe in the hospital. I really like their coffee and pastries! Quick grab and go style lunches too when you're in a rush

Would appreciate your cashiers to not have a attitude when going through a difficult time with sick family member

This is a modern looking place with some seating, mostly counter, on the inside and a few tables outside. On my first visit I tried one of their smoothies. It was a hot afternoon and I was in the Southside Village because of its close proximity to Sarasota Memorial Hospital. I'm generally not a smoothie drinker but getting something cold sure was a good idea. I chose their Passion Berry, very passion-ish, with Passion Fruit syrup and various other fruits and apple juice. They do not include ice, so the texture was a little thick and very smooth. While I'm still not sold on smoothies in general for the price, this was a fine drink. Raining Berries offers more than smoothies, they have Acai bowls, coffee, gelato, and even some food. I like food, so I stopped in a second time to try their Cali Bagel. You have a choice of an Everything or Plain bagel, I went Everything. This bagel sandwich includes egg, cheese, arugula, tomato, and a little sriracha just to keep it from being too bland. I very much liked this savory sandwich. I didn't interact too much with the staff but everything went smooth and reasonably quick.

I ordered the Green Dream, and it was refreshing, light, and so tasty. Perfect pick-me-up for the day. The staff were pleasant and attentive. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu.

This time, we had the shakshuka and the kale salad. We also had a warm Immune Booster Elixir. It was busy but service was still timely. The dinner menu features four salads, each priced between $17 and $19, with optional add-ons: fish for $11, avocado for $4, or grilled chicken for $6. Entrées range from a vegan beetroot risotto to a wagyu burger, priced between $19 and $28. I ordered the Baja burrito--filled with avocado, red cabbage, carrot, cashew cheese, and wrapped in a massaged collard green burrito. It was tasty, but it's definitely a dish best appreciated by vegans who truly enjoy collard greens. My husband chose the goat cheese salad, a mix of organic greens, goat cheese mousse, pickled shallots, candied pecans, preserved grapes, house-made crackers, mustard pearls, and maple vinaigrette, also $18. The goat cheese was extremely creamy and paired beautifully with the light, airy toasted pieces served alongside. It made for the perfect light entrée. For dessert, he had the pumpkin chia pudding--creamy, lightly spiced, and satisfying without being heavy--so we ended the night feeling perfectly content, not overly full. There was a gentleman playing the saxophone just outside the door, a bit hard to carry on a conversation at times but very adorable when he played happy birthday for a little boy who clapped for joy. Very heartwarming moment. Go and enjoy a very healthy dinner.
