This is a fun and lively bar. I recommend it - I've been here for special occasions and you will likely have a good time. Some machines line the perimeter and there are other games to play within earshot. The bar itself is circular and they have TVs of the artists in case you can't see the stage from your seat. Small bar tables and bar seating - you will find a good spot unless maybe you come on New Years Eve. The singers sometimes are good - sometimes not. Last night it was a guy who's voice wasn't there. Was still enjoyable. He set a happy positive mood... And listening to him would give anybody more courage on karaoke night at their local bar. Speaking of New Years Eve - this is a great place to come. Drink and have a hotel room for your friends and late night dining options.

There's music playing, but it's at a perfect level where you can still easily hold a conversation. The bar area also has multiple TVs if you're looking to catch a game. The space offers more than just drinks, with a small bowling alley (six lanes) and a pool table, making it a great spot to hang out. Bathrooms are located just outside the lounge, down the hall near the elevators. Service has consistently been solid during my visits. Staffing has never been an issue, and it's always been easy to get help at the bar. The drinks are well-made and flavorful, though on the pricier side. The only food I've tried so far is the carnitas nachos, and they're definitely worth ordering. Overall, it's a fun spot for both adults and kids, and it's usually our first stop after checking in.

Problem started when fireplace my picture empty got invaded by more half a dozen adults, kids, strollers, with loud noise makers. I am all for NYE celebrations, but our food came out and this group stood all around us, rude, obnoxious, made videos kids. Completely not acknowledging they are at a bar/lounge eatery. I knew it would get worse and asked boxes to pack up our food and leave. Servers were understanding and kind, but more groups kids coming in such small area. I blame management, get yourself a HOSTESS, someone that manages seating. This was worse than a club or bar with everyone drinking because it was parents getting shots tequila, with kids, not caring about any other guests. Food was good, fresh, but it was insane environment. Your liquor license should be revoked.. plan on hearing from ABC. Toddlers sitting AT THE BAR literally on the bar counter.

It balances upscale and relaxed in a way that works whether you're there for a date night, business dinner, or just grabbing a drink. The lounge has great energy and always feels alive without being too much. The food speaks for itself. Consistently high quality, fresh, and well executed. You can tell there's intention behind every dish, not just going through the motions. For the level of quality you're getting, the value is absolutely there. Service is a big reason this place stands out. Christy is amazing. She genuinely cares, remembers people, and makes sure you're taken care of the right way. It never feels forced, just natural hospitality. This is one of those spots that's become part of Woodland's identity. With a wasabi and fennel infused vodka, it was too unique not to be curious about. Upon arriving and looking over the menu, SEVERAL cocktails stood out to me as intriguing to try. I started with the Wabi Sabi which was as interesting as it sounded. While I didn't pick up on fennel, you do pick up on the wasabi, but in the most subtle of ways. Think maybe lime/ginger sparkling water with just a hint of spice. Refreshing and different for sure. I also tried the Mucha Lucha w/ cilantro infused Siete Leguas Blanco, chorizo infused mezcal and cubes made of hot sauce that make the drink have a bit more of a kick as you allow them to melt. I did the HH chips and guac which was also accompanied with a tasty Chipotle sauce. Damn good actually. It'd be excellent served in a variety of ways. The deviled eggs aren't going to blow your mind, but I like that you get 4 different ones- and simply because I love eggs, I'd order them again. (They just wouldn't be a dish that brings me back). The bartender was great- helpful and attentive, even as more people began to filter in for an early afternoon. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Napa to check out some other menu options.
