Chocolate cake

They have a great atmosphere here. The live music is nice but note even with a reservation we had a wait and were not guaranteed a seat on the patio (and did not get it) but you can hear the music throughout the restaurant. The live music was the only reason we drove all the way here and didn't get to see it. All our food was served hot and fresh. The egg rolls were very good! The soup was delicious. The salad was cold and crisp. The chicken pasta wasn't bad but my husband thought it tasted like the sauce was tomato soup based versus a creamy traditional red pasta sauce. The Peruvian chicken bowl was excellent. The cilantro sauce was so good and very cilantro forward which I loved! The raw tomatoes were yummy in this dish. I would definitely get this again. The cake slices are HUGE! We had more than half leftover to go. The dessert while impressive in size was not very good. The ice cream served with both was good and we would order the ice cream, however the chocolate cake was very dry without eating it with ice cream. The frosting was on the thinner side in between the layers and didn't help with the dryness. The carrot cake was okay, it had chunks of pineapple in it. The nuts were only on the outside in the frosting so thankfully didn't have to pick those out through the cake.

Ahi Tuna Wrap

The food came out FAST, which was impressive being that it was dinner time. For my drink I got the adult capri sun. This is made with Ciroc Red Berry, Ciroc pineapple, peach Schnapps, sour mix, and lemonade. This drink was fantastic but I was disappointed to find out it doesn't come in the capri sun looking pouch that other bars serve. One of my friends had the sliders which were delicious and very filling. They have garlic aioli, onion straws, and cheddar cheese on them. My other friend ordered the Buffalo chicken flatbread, which he said was good, but pretty average. I had the ahi tuna wrap. I thought it was pretty good but wish there was a little more of the sweet lemon cabbage slaw on it. I would come back and sit on the heated patio next time!

They have the right to limit alcohol consumption..... to 10. That is pure Michigan.

This is a great place for groups. Food is decent but service is great. They have an enclosed patio and an open patio. Sliders are the best route as they are better than decent.

We went on National Quesadilla Day where they were have a special with 3 different quesadillas. We ordered the Birria and the chicken quesadilla. Our server was super nice and our food was brought out to us very quickly. The quesadillas were filling and tasted amazing!! I also had their Mexican espresso martini which was by far the best and smoothest espresso martini I've ever had

You cannot beat this place for brunch! The vibes here are so fun and refreshing. The outdoor heated patio reminds you of a place in Las Vegas. The food was DELICIOUS and obviously you can't beat bottomless mimosa's. Service was very quick and always friendly I'll definitely be back, and you should add it to your list to try!

Drinks. Delicious. Appetizers. Delicious. Entrees. Delicious. I can't believe it's taken me this long to finally try this place out. Do yourself a favor and try the carnita fries and get the garlic potatoes as a side dish. You will thank me later. I would drive 25 minutes just for those potatoes! Garlicky-parmesan amazingness!! Also don't sleep on the burritos there.. the house made chili on top makes the whole burrito.

Came in for Sunday brunch with my brunch crew. We were celebrating my birthday so I made it more fun by dressing up in witch costumes. The place is beautiful inside and we ended up sitting in the enclosed patio area. Nice and warm and they had a cute fall background to take pictures. We all decided on bottomless mimosas and I ordered the southern waffles. It was chicken chunks, on a waffle with an over easy egg with crumbled bacon and syrup. It was really good! The breakfast burrito looked amazing so I'm looking forward to going back and trying it! Overall a really great brunch place and we're excited to come back and try more food!

It's a nice, clean place that honestly could use a professional interior decorator, but the staff was friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had a party of six and no one complained. The short rib pasta dish had a nice bite to it it was very flavorful and they didn't skimp on the short rib portion size. The steak sandwich was excellent and according to our friends, the pork chop was one of the best they've ever eaten. And while we didn't get to experience it, apparently there's a speakeasy in the basement. Cool! I imagine the locals in the area know about this place but if you are not a local ( we were not) it's worth the drive. Just don't blink when driving near Pelton road or you'll miss it.

Our server was Bella, she couldn't be sweeter. She was very helpful when we had questions about the menu and accommodated our requests. We started with the bread and butters, herb butter and goat cheese butter, it was good. We were hoping to get the Burrata with peach, but it was sold out (our reservation was at 5:30, btw). We ordered cocktails including the Fireside Old Fashioned, which were good. I got the Pineapple Express, but I asked for tequila instead of Mezcal. It had a nice kick. We also had an espresso martini which was good and not made with anything creamy (in case you care). I got the ribeye French dip with fries (more like wedges and yummy!) The sandwich had Horseradish sauce, arugula, and pickled red onions. I enjoyed it without the au jus even. My boyfriend got 3 carne asada tacos, bigger than the average taco, and they were decent, not bad and I also realize that this is not a Mexican restaurant. He also got French onion soup, which he likes to get often. He said it was bland and not very cheesy. Our friends both ordered flat breads. Pepperoni and hot honey, and Prosciutto and melon, both really liked what they ordered. I wish we had time to go and check out the speakeasy downstairs, next time we come to Pine Knob, we will come extra early and check it out.

We appreciated the attentive service and nice selection of wines by the glass. The house pickle martini was a fun twist on a classic. I'm a big fan of a hasselback potato. While flavorful, this fell short as the edges were not browned and crispy. That's the thrill of the hassle back. This would be a five star review IF they would prohibit ball caps, men in t-shirts, shorts, or anyone in denim in the main dining room on Saturday nights. It was clear there were many people celebrating special occasions with men in sport coats and ladies dressed nicely. As a courtesy to those guests, people with ball caps and other casual attire or athletic attire should be seated in the bar or outside on a Friday or Saturday night. We were seated at a table toward the back and our waiter greeted us straight away and got us water and talked about appetizers. We chose the burrata and thoroughly enjoyed it. For dinner I ordered the dry aged New York and my wife the filet. We added mashed potatoes, creamed spinach and Brussels sprouts. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides were amazing! We order too much food, but figured it would make a great sandwich the next day. They offered my wife a free desert for her birthday and she chose the banana pudding. It was a nice light ending to an amazing meal. The food was great, the service impeccable and look forward to going back.

Rounding to 5 stars since I can't rate 4 1/2…read more First time here as we moved to Clarkston a year ago. We showed up on a Friday evening and didn't realize the restaurant was as small as it was but thankfully the weather was great and they were starting to seat people outside. We were pleasantly surprised that we didn't hear much road noise due to the landscaping of the plaza. We had to wait a little bit for specials menus as they didn't have enough but that was ok since we needed time to review the menu. We got calamari as an appetizer and it was very good. It was strips of calamari in a slightly spicy buttery sauce (the spice came from the banana pepper rings). I got chicken Marsala for my entree. The sauce was in the sweet side, which tends to be the norm when going out to eat. I was very happy to find out the veggie was squash and not broccoli. The squash was so good that I actually looked forward to eating it with my leftover chicken the next day. My husband got the Casalinga entree. He really enjoyed that too. He had the best of both worlds with it - meatballs and Italian sausage. I can see what this is a best seller! This visit was one week ago and we came back last night when his sister came into town. I got the brown sugar peach salmon entree - very good! It did start to get a bit too sweet near the very end (I guess I like savory more for my entree). My husband got lasagna and enjoyed that too! It's all been very good and we look forward to continue to explore the menu here!
