Awesome food every time. Never had a bad meal. Fairly priced and has a great summer vibe.

It was my first time here and it did not disappoint. The orange chicken bowl was great but a little too much egg in it for me. Next time is skip the egg all together. My favorite food was the side of macaroni and cheese. It was creamy in the middle and cheesy on top! It's a little more expensive than your average lunch spot. My bill was roughly $30 for both items and a coke. Service was excellent. There's only one are with low tables for wheelchairs. But this looks like an awesome place to watch a game. read more

I love the atmosphere of Meach's Pit Stop! I had tried to make a reservation, but they don't take them. Despite it being busy, we were sat quickly! For my drink I ordered the sugar cookie martini. The beautiful red and green in the drink created a cool pattern! They also have some cool frozen drinks (pun intended). The French onion soup is the best I've ever had. Truly nothing compares to it! It's flavorful and has the perfect layer of cheese on top. The fried pickles paired well with the southwest ranch. I prefer pickle spears over the circle ones for fried pickles so I was happy to see that's how Meach's makes them. Overall, I'm very impressed by the portion sizes here. Fun place in this small town. Has arcade games to keep the small & big kids entertained, they also have live lotto where you can bet on the table. Food was okay for me. The Mac and cheese stood out and was gooey, cheesy and yummy. My bf loved his salad that had green apples, chicken, etc. I had a tuna poke bowl that was ok. I saw rave reviews about this, that's why I ordered it. I felt like the Runa didn't taste like tuna. The spicy mayo sauce used tasted like mayonnaise and avocado was weird. The orange chicken bowl was even better. The chicken was crispy but also covered in sauce. I really liked that. That's all. Caitlin: The nachos were so delicious that I could only eat one rib from my entire slab of ribs. The customer service was friendly and quick in spite of the fact that the venue was packed. Split a chicken parm and it was fantastic. The red sauce was perfectly seasoned. Lately restaurants go for bland so that you have to try to season it yourself. Here they go for grandma's recipe and don't hold back. The bartender was skilled preparing fancy drinks and pulling Guinness. Very friendly and knew the menu. Staff was cleaning if they had time- no playing with phones. I will def come back. read more

Just a shout out to your staff - stopped in yesterday June 27th around 6, place was packed, grabbed one of the last seats at the bar ordered some food to go. Bar staff was on it, beers were ice cold and the food as always was excellent and despite the packed house I got my food pretty quickly. This is my second review. I gave Meache's a thumbs up then and do so again. I probably eat here every 6 weeks and so far my favorites are the macaroni and cheese and fish and chips. The chicken bowl was tasty too. The place gets very busy after 5 so try and get there early. Kids love it there with the video games and the beer drinkers have a huge choice on tap. Service is good but I've never been there past 6:30 when it really gets busy. It is a little hard to find since it's sort of behind the businesses on the road, so look for Tractor Supply which is next door.. closed on Monday. read more

It was busy on a Tuesday night and there was a bit of a wait to be seated and for our food, but other than that we had a great first experience here. I got the Ahi tuna poke bowl, which was on the sweeter side but still delicious and enough for 2 1/2 meals. The fish and chips had huge fish pieces and was a very generous portion. Absolutely the best dinner! From the Buffalo Calamari and French Onion to the Fish & Chips! The menu is huge, there is something for everyone's palate. Our waitress was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. The environment is up beat and inviting. We will be back for sure! read more

The amazing Grannis family does it again! We were there with a pretty large group and we were all so impressed with EVERYTHING! The service is impeccable! The staff is hard working and attentive. The owners are there and working so hard to make sure everyone is happy! Every meal that goes out is inspected by one of the owners to ensure it's perfect! If you haven't been...YOU MUST GO! Opa's in Lake Orion and Clarkston Tap in Clarkston are just as incredible! I wish I had taken pictures to share because the food wasn't just good it was presented beautifully and the portions are huge! The cocktails and "hard" slushies were strong and tasted so good! We ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich, a Cobb salad, two French onion soups, a tall and short two hearted beer, and a martini for $75. $12 for a martini is a little pricy for the area. First time at this place and it was pretty dam good, it's a newer place so everything is fresh looking. I had the Italian sub and it was the best one I've had to date. Plenty of meat cheese and covered in veggies and the bun bottom was toasted and I think the meat and cheese was grilled then place on the toasted bun and the veggies were cold so they had to be placed afterwards. read more

Went here with a group of twelve, had a reservation. When arrived was told they don't take reservations and whoever took the reservation made a mistake. We weren't that upset but had tix for an event and needed to be out by a certain time. Young manager (I heard it was the owner's daughter) walks up and immediately has the most unprofessional attitude I've ever seen. Her demeanor was unacceptable. And I'll go ahead and call a spade a spade - she sounded just trashy. I worked in restaurants for years in this would never fly. Called us names and essentially kicked us out. We weren't even mad or yelling at her. Only two people in our party were speaking with her, so it wan't like we were ganging up. So crazy! We are grateful that something has opened up in this spot so our local area has more dining choices. Meach's does have a a great and wide choice on their menu, but it is very much geared toward heavy bar food. I wish they would add some healthier protein options that are more "fresh" and not so bar food. We really like their bar menu, but their wine by the glass are not competitively priced for the area, and feel like they are price gouging. Overall, I would say it is a decent place. read more

Told hostess to take our name off the list and asked us to leave. She was angry we didn't care it was their one year anniversary and were busy. She was angry we didn't care when she defended self by stating she employs 16 year old hostess and can't control their lack of knowledge of reservations or seating people at wrong tables. I am very concerned for Nicolette's well being and mental health. She seems very unstable over minimal stress interactions. She does not like to be questioned and is condescending. An "owner" who calls members of a 12 person group names shows lack of professionalism and leadership. Very concerned her behaviors would affect her staff. read more

After 30 min, we asked for a status (we had tix for an event), and was told by the "owner" that they didn't take reservations (?) and they were too busy to seat us. Yesterday we hosted our son's graduation party at Meach's and we can't say enough great things about our experience. Starting with the planning process I was put at complete ease. The staff was so accommodating, flexible and beyond reassuring that everything was going to be great....even with the weather starting out a little sketchy for us in the morning. During the party we continually heard how great the food was, helpful and awesome the waitstaff was and what a great atmosphere Meach's provides. All through the party the waitstaff went out of their way to check in with my husband and I to make sure things were ok or to just even get us a drink. For the majority of our guests it was their first time at Meach's, but after today I have no doubt that Meach's gained many new customers! We can't say thank you enough, and I know in 2 years we will be hosting our daughter's grad party there as well. Whether it's a dine in restaurant experience(they have a delicious menu), catering or having an event at Meach's, we beyond highly recommend! read more

My wife, daughter and son-in-law ate there and we LOVED IT!!! The food was exceptional. The portions were very generous and lots of variety. The service was excellent and the decor is a car/bike persons dream. We cant wait for our next visit, which is coming real soon. If you are ever in the Ortonville, MI area I recommend this place.
