In many ways, they have, including the layout, the way the guy at the front desk with a Brooklyn accent answers every single phone call to answer the exact same questions about lane prices, and that it's still a haven for kids bday parties. But I was pleasantly surprised to see they've made a lot of modern updates, including the ability to put gutter guards on for specific players and not needing the gutter guard to stay on for an entire lane the whole time you're playing. They take reservations except on days when schools are closed. We went on a school holiday and had no trouble getting two lanes for our group. The lanes are smooth and pretty much operate as intended, which I can't say for all of Brooklyn's bowling alleys. Prices are low and I appreciated being transported back to the Brooklyn of the early aughts, when I came here often as a kid. I brought sanitizing wipes to wipe down the balls because I'm a germaphobe, but as far as the cleanliness of the place goes, it could be worse.

It's a huge spacious bowling alley with different lanes. Very clean and organized. They have a bar in a private lounge area. It's fun for children's and adults of all ages. I was calling him since 11am to see if he would be on time and no answer. My decoration and photo booth people were waiting outside since 1:30 until they eventually had to leave to other parties at 3pm. The food even got delivered and everything was outside until my husband called me to help him pick everything up and when I get there at 4:30 HE DECIDES TO SHOW UP. I go in there really mad because i already lost $700 dollars for my photo booth and decoration people. I told him that I can still use the venue if he gives us the venue till 12am and THE OWNER DECIDES TO CATCH AN ATTITUDE BECAUSE I'M TRYING TO "GIVE HIM ORDERS" AND "TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HIM" after he was unprofessional and never answered the phone.
