Gréât ambiance. Live music on Friday night. We are stopping in after berry picking after a hot day at mid Ohio raceway. I'm very impressed with their bushes!! The sweet blueberry wine is a bit tart but good. $22/bottle. I'm sad they don't offer flights.

First, I love picking blueberries at The Blueberry Patch, so this review has nothing to do with The Blueberry Patch (or their wonderful pies and donuts!). My husband and I drove out to pick blueberries yesterday and decided to have lunch at the winery. First, we waited for at least 15 minutes before the hostess even appeared. She knew there were people there because the five people (two groups) in front of us had already put in their names. When she finally showed up, we were told it would be ten or fifteen minutes. It was 30. To be clear, the restaurant was not swamped with people. In fact, because it was raining, there were probably fewer people than usual. There seemed to be only two servers, and they were doing the best they could, I think, but everything was very slow. The menu isn't extensive, and it's not complicated food, so it was hard to figure out what was taking so long. When the food finally came, it was less than stellar. I had the chicken salad with blueberries and allegedly toasted pecans. It was overly dressed with an aggressively vinegary dressing. The pea salad on the side was strange. I think it had paprika in it, which is an odd choice in my opinion. The blueberry muffin was excellent though. Anyway, next time we pick blueberries, I think we'll find somewhere else to eat.

It's so exciting to see how much this location has grown over the years. The new building is huge, has plenty of seating inside and out and has a gift shop. We stopped by for lunch and were not disappointed in our grinder or our Croissant sandwich. Everything arrived quickly and had wonderful flavor. The sample pours are generous and allowed us to try the ones we liked. Our usual favorite is the dry Blueberry which is fun to drink while picking blueberries when they are in season.

Yuck. Its all about the atmosphere. Beautiful patio with fire place. Perfect spot to take my sweetie pie. But.... The. Food is blah. Paid $15 for recommended chicken bacon ranch. It came out luke warm n not great. Had it in my hotel room for a week n never ate ate it Who doesn't eat left over pizza? I didnt. Nasty from here. Pizza hut is better and cheaper! On to the wine. I tasted darn near all of them. Don't waste ur time or $$. Taste like Sutter home crap. The 2 stars are for beautiful patio atmosphere. Service isn't great either.

A great stop after hiking in the Mohican State Park to enjoy some great pizza and wine. They also have a huge gift/coffee shop. Friendly staff and a great space!

Great winery and great service. The first place we've been to where they have great fruit wines! Our server (Vanessa) was amazing!

Tabitha was great at her job and very friendly! The food and wine was ample and delicious. This is a favorite for local wineries and my favorite blueberry wines.

The charge after he added his own tip. It'll update to $44 something once the additional tip I added is applied but wanted to post this now

Wine was bad to mediocre. Wasn't going to leave a review, but. Check your receipts at the bar. The bartender handed me my receipt for $31.03. I gave him my card, I literally watched him tap a tip option on the screen and when he handed it back to me the new total was $37.45. I am from out of state and didn't want to create a problem, so I just signed and left. And left a 20% tip on the fraudulent receipt too. I hope he feels bad about this, sees this review and that I literally watched him do it and doesn't do this to any other customers. Really really lame.

Menu was full of blueberry options, which makes complete sense, as the winery sits upon a blueberry patch.

I decided on their aged Manhattan, mom one of their new cocktails, and my wife a glass of wine. We ordered their bread service as a starter. So delicious! For our main courses my wife decided on their aged Manhattan small Filet, mom the Grouper special, and I went for their French Onion Soup and the bar wing special. Our meals came out perfectly cooked and presented, delicious as well! We love this place and their food, but more importantly the people! We'll be back.

It's like a cozy den. Some couches, regular 4 tops, the bar too. We sat on a couch by the TV. We ordered a cider on tap and the peach wine. They were both good. Sweet in front with a bit of a dry finish. You can taste any of the house wines if you like. Which is totally good. Test before buy. We did not eat just had a drink. Server was nice and accommodating. We sat and talked and watched some of the Olympics. Nice time for about an hour. Handful of people came in and out. I can see for dinner it being crowded or after dinner cocktails. Bar looks cool and plenty of drinking options. Prices aren't bad. Parking is free across the street. Cool place.

They were going to have live music as well as a food truck in the evening but we had other plans. The winery offered samples for $1. Most of our group chose 4-6 wines to try so our table looked a bit crazy with all the glasses. The one downside was that the employee who helped us was relatively new and had us do our tastings from sweet to dry, instead of dry to sweet. She did say that she was trained this way but it threw me off. Luckily, the owner came in and we were able to ask some questions. When I questioned the thought process of going from sweet to dry - he quickly corrected our remaining samples and made a note to do some retraining. I enjoyed that this was a family owned winery. Even the kids were studying subjects in college to allow them to be part of the business as well. I loved the theme of time. Our group ended up leaving with several bottles and I would definitely recommend this winery to others.

They do have food trucks at times. Still, a couple more food choices wood be nice. Maybe some different chips and dips, veggie trays or flatbreads. Has a large upper room for special events, and a small patio but plenty of green space with tables, great for entertainment with a wooded area that has a fire pit. Just maybe a few more fire pits for the colder evenings.

The owner, Brittni, features local artists work as well as her own inside the winery and for an awesome twist on branding, she's labeled each wine selection with her own artwork and named each wine after one of her paintings. The charcuterie boards are delicious and sourced from other local small businesses and the owner regularly has amazing food truck vendors featured at her location. If that's not enough for you, the owner has incorporated all sorts of fun classes and workshops within her business model such as paint and sip, making candela out of old wine bottles, yoga and exercise classes, and monthly bingo as well as ensuring she has local musicians regularly booked on the weekends. I suggest checking out her website for future events, I know I keep my eye on what she's got going on. And I couldn't possibly forget to mention her sweet pup Jax that's often scouring the floor for snacks or snoozing in the corner. The service is amazing, the wine is to die for, the ambiance is spectacular, and it's clear that Brittni has poured her heart and soul into Cote Winery, quite literally. As a regular customer, I can honestly say that Mt. Gilead is lucky to have Cote Winery as an addition to the local wineries surrounding Ohio.
