Mojito... just how I like it, not too sweet

Best Vietnamese I've had in Montreal... and I've tried many of them! This is a new restaurant in the same space as an older restaurant, but this one is so, so, so much better. Menu is innovative and features a lot beyond the usual Viet standbys. Spring rolls were fresh and tasty, scallops in the shell were yummy, and beef skewers were cooked perfectly. I'm gonna come back someday soon to try the spicy jellyfish.

Great find. We were six for supper on a Saturday night. Very simple decor. Awesome service. Friendly staff. We were confused and the waiter proposed menu dégustation . We shared plate after plate of different salads and dishes. One better than the other. We really enjoyed the food selection. Great for the adventurous types.

This is a very small and cute Vietnamese resto. It's kinda like a tapas/full plate resto. This is a street food resto So you can get your own plate or share stuff. We got a few different things The mango salad, the chicken skewers, the mussels, the beef saute, the sticky chicken wings and to end it we got the fried banana for dessert My favorites were the mango salad it was so fresh and yummy, the chicken skewers were very flavorful which I loved and also the fried banana with coconut was devine. I would not recommend to get the mussels, they had a weird taste and odor, not sure if it was because of the toppings and the sauce but we felt bad asking to take it up. Other than that the place is nice for small and also big groups, the employees were all very nice and attentive and also the service was very fast. We got there when they had opened on a Sunday and more nd more ppl showed up and you can see that they were really consistent. Definitely recommend this place and also do a takeaway option.

Original vietnamese tapas style restaurant, with nice decoration! Music a bit loud but authentic vietnamese. We shared the 10 brochette dish and soft shell crab appetizer. The sauces were amazing! The crab was very tasty too! Would return and try other dishes!

Anthony Bourdain, honorary Vietnamese cultural hero, said it best in an episode of Parts Unknown: "One of the great joys of life is riding a scooter through Vietnam (...) a flowing, gorgeous thing; as you ride you not only see, you hear, a hundred intimate moments in miniature. You smell wonderful unnameable things cooking issuing from storefronts and food-stalls; you hear the sounds of beeping, laughing, announcements from speakers, the put-put and roar of a million tiny engines." Street food in Vietnam is not simply a series of traditional dishes sold on the streets but captures the beauty of the people's culture, lifestyle, and mindset. Sophisticated, complex, and yet accessible, the cuisine combines a number of ingredients, contrasting flavours, textures, focuses on the harmony of sour, salty, spicy, and sweet to bring refreshing flavours, preserve natural tastes of its ingredients and remains healthy. From dawn to dusk and into the night, Vietnamese street food is enjoyed on the sidewalks, bustling with mouthwatering dishes and tantalizing aromas, while sitting on low plastic stools, and drinking cold beers. Although thousands of miles away, we were able to sample some of the iconic dishes right here in one spot, prepared by owners and chefs Tam Nguyen and Steven (Thoai) Le at 123 Dzô in Laval. The vast món nhậu (tapas) menu includes small plates made for sharing - we tried: Gỏi Sứa (jellyfish salad), Gỏi Đu Đu Khô Bò (green papaya & beef jerky), Cánh Gà Chiên Mắm (fried chicken wings with fish sauce), Mục Nướng (grilled squid), Chef's Choice Brochettes (beef, pork, chicken, fish balls, shrimp), Chem Chếp Xào Dừa (Coconut mussels), Bánh Nạm (flat rice dumplings), Bột Chiên (Fried rice cakes & eggs), Fried bananas with ice cream and a delicious Vietnamese Crème Caramel with a side of shaved ice, doused with tasty Vietnamese coffee. Will have to return with more friends to taste the rest of the menu and drinks of course!

For what it has to offer on the island of franchises, it's a nice gem to visit on occasio in Laval. This placed recently changed names from Chez Tung to Maison Minh (new ownership) and the decor was upgraded. The interior of the resto is clean and Asian themed. The service is friendly, chill even and both times the whole experience went by fast. The process of sitting down to order food. then the foot prep to being served your food takes about 15 minutes. This makes it a great as a lunch option. Lemon water is served. First meal I enjoyed was a won ton soup followed by peanut butter chicken with crispy spinach. The second time it was grilled chicken and beef with side vermicelli and spring roll. Everything was on-point and packed with flavor. Portions are generous. The menu is thick with recipes with "table d'hote" and "lunch express" options. Variety is plentiful except for Bahn Mi..... WHY CAN'T ANYONE MAKE BAHN MI IN LAVALLLLLL. Priced tag is ok. Will be back.

My family made reservations for noon on a Saturday and thankfully so, because the line was out the door upon arrival. We ordered a pho dac biet (#15) and bun bo hue dac biet (#24) . Come hungry, because their large bowls are massive! Their pho was so nourishing and comforting on a rainy day. Each bowl loaded with a hefty serving of meat, tendon and tripe. The herbs were incredibly fresh and even came with culantro! But the star of this meal had to be the bun bo hue; I haven't had such an amazing bun bo hue from a restaurant in a long time. The broth was beefy and loaded with tender pieces of meat, but also finally had enough of the lemongrass essence I crave for in bbh. It packed just the right amount of heat without it being overpowering or mouth-numbing. I practically licked the bowl clean at the end of the meal. My family was ecstatic to have found another spot that hits close to home for them. Flavors are impeccable and portion sizes are very generous. We already decided that we will be regulars. You'll catch us here very often!

The pho was warm and inviting, with well-seasoned broth that tasted like it's been simmering all day and beef that was of high quality. We also ordered a bun cha Hanoi and the meat patties were unctuous. The staff were all super friendly and very quick with taking our orders and bringing us our food. Overall, a pho place I would visit again.
