If you haven't been here, you are missing out. We celebrated my cousin's birthday this evening and had the BEST service by Lance. He was personable, professional and very attentive--an excellent server and ambassador for the restaurant. Management, you are blessed to have him as an employee. The food was outstanding, and we liked the ambience of the restaurant. I would say that this place is great for meat eaters, but besides salads and a couple of starters, not a lot for vegetarians. We ordered the sautéed mushrooms, and steak satay with arugula for starters, 2 New York steaks, a Tuscan chicken and polenta, and the pear salad with steak. We ended the amazing meal with the apple bread pudding. We were so stuffed, but it was all so delicious. We will definitely return with our carnivore friends. What a fantastic experience we had here today. We walked by a few times in the past and today was the day we decided to try it for a 17th anniversary dinner. The place is so beautiful and so attractive and it might very well be one of the classiest places in Sandpoint. We didn't get any of their designer cocktails but we watched a few be delivered to some other people, and wow! They did look great and very generous pours too which is really important considering how expensive mixed drinks have become now. This place makes it worth it. And they just looked really attractive too. The food was just simply amazing! It was a standout, fantastic, oh my god moment biting into their food for this first time. It was really great! I had the see bass over gnocchis And it was just fantastic and the fish was such a treat. Now I need to give special mention to our server Kaylan. She was such a charm and so pleasant and really paid such attention to us. There was just a presence about her and energy about her that my wife and I couldn't stop talking about her and to her and we're just so impressed by her dedication and focus she gave to us. She was so good that we actually thought she might have been one of the owners. If you get Kaylan as your bartender or your server, consider yourself being treated to an extra special dining experience because she will really just top the day off for you. Lovely ambiance, friendly staff, well-curated wine selection, and a short but interesting menu with something for everyone. Our table tried the NY strip with sweet potato hash and vegetables, and the sea bass with gnocchi and squash. The steaks were cooked as ordered and were well-rested. The sweet potato hash was yummy with tender potatoes and subtle spices. The sea bass with gnocchi was delightful. A thick filet of sea bass cooked so it was both flaky and moist, and a perfectly crispy skin. The gnocchi were light and fluffy with a delicate pesto. I had a spicy Caesar salad that was good, BUT the dish to write home about was my husband's seabass. WOW. In reading the description, I would have said I don't like one thing in this dish. The table was right by the main door so we froze and everyone that came in stared at us eating.....the drink was light , unless you want weird tasteless food I would not choose here....no taste in any of the food! We ordered Brussels sprouts they were so tough you could not even chew them! 4 people cost $250 for crappy food bad service as we were forgotten and some of our ordered food was forgotten. been here 3-4 times in the last 6 months and extremely disappointed each time. One occasion I had the blackberry salmon which was supposed to be marinated in a blackberry marinade of some sort yet there was absolutely nothing blackberry about it except one berry on top. It was cooked properly but no flavor or reduction or anything blackberry whatsoever. Another time time I had the chicken Roulade, which was a tiny piece of overcooked chicken with two skinny, tiny pieces of broccolini, barely cheese, barely sauce, and I could taste bacon, but couldn't recognize it as it was so thin and overcooked, All on a disc of polenta maybe half the size of a hockey puck. Prices are absurd not only for what you get in food but alcohol prices are like 50% more than what you pay at a nice ski area. I won't be going back. read more

I wish I wasn't writing this but need to be honest about our experience at 113 Main a few weeks back. It was a Wednesday night (2/29/25) and I was in town with my friends and our 3 adult boys for a few days of skiing. I called the 113 Main around 7:15 pm, talked to the manager, letting him know we'd like to have dinner and that there were 6 of us. No problem he said, and you have a table. Dinner is served until 9 pm and I just wanted to make sure the timing was good as things shut down early midweek in downtown Sandpoint. We walked in around 7:50 pm and they didn't have our reservation (which isn't a big deal) and seated us near the front of the restaurant at a table for 6. Ok, all good. The restaurant seems pretty busy. We get our drink order in, and our food gets ordered, It's now a little after 8 pm and what I notice is the the bartender is putting things away, which seems a bit odd, wrapping things up, cleaning the bar etc. It's maybe 8:15 pm at this point. Our service is a bit slow but not anything I can't deal with. We had brought a bottle of wine to open, and celebrate my friend's son's bday, and that took some time to get it opened but we finally got that done. Again, not a big deal. I asked if our bread is on the way about 30 minutes after ordering it and our waitress apologized and grabbed it (it was very good btw). I ask for a refill of my club soda, and my son asks if he can also have one as well. Our waitress returns and says the bar is closed and I don't have a lime for your club soda?? You can't open a fridge door and grab a lime? Are you that lazy? or busy? Our food shows up around 8:30 pm. Mind you, the hours listed on the door say the place is open until 9 pm. This is where things get really weird. No sooner did our food get here (along with the bread we ordered for a starter) and all the staff is putting chairs on tables, I'm talking EVERY chair in the restaurant is being put up on tables. Are you kidding me? it's 8:30 pm, we are celebrating a birthday and you are putting chairs up left and right, in the whole restaurant, right next to us. I understand people want to get home but we just got our dinner. I won't get into a food review, but it was just ok. We had a 2nd bottle of wine we brought (a port), again this is a bday celebration. We ask if we can get some glass wear and our waitress brings it. It would have been nice if she just stayed on top of things and paid a little more attention but again, the whole restaurant seemed to be worried about getting out the door. Mind you, there was no asking for an after-dinner drink or anything on the dessert menu, the bar was clearly closed. No last call, no asking for dessert, no nothing, just the check. The waitress did say happy bday to my friend's son who turned 25 that day. The bill had 20% tacked on so it's not like I could do anything on that front. It was so tacky to have chairs being put on tables as you are having your first bite of dinner, well before closing time. I would never do that to a table. We ended up leaving around 9:15pm, chugged our port and got the hell out of dodge. The part that won't surprise you is that our waitress walked into the 219 Lounge (around the corner) about 10 minutes after we did. She had her priorities set. read more

We have eaten here 3 times and it just keeps getting worse. The food looks pretty but it's cooked wrong, under flavored, gummy and has zero depth of flavor. Beautiful building in an incredibly little town. Come on Sandpoint... You have to take food seriously. Out of the three visits the only thing that was decent was the sea bass. No local approach, beef over cooked with absolutely no flavor, the chimichurri was thick, VERY VERY salty, the gnocchi was tough, the pasta was undercooked, chewy and flavorless and the sauces tasted like a cheep store-bought afterthought. To say 113 is a HUGE disappointment would be an understatement. read more

We had the best dining experience tonight at 113 Main. The reservation was seamless and we were given the nicest table. Wow, this place is really cool. I ordered off the Specialty Drink menu (all are $15 drinks) and my drink was excellent. We all ordered something different. My husband's serving came out and it looked super small...I was concerned because he's a big eater. He also ordered the starter bread with it, and by the end he said it was a perfect amount. Everyone loved their dinner. My Caesar salad wasn't impressive...tasted like Mayo on lettuce...but the shrimp on it was very good. The service was great! We'll definitely be back. read more
