We had a great time on the lake in our Tritoon, but were taken aback by a 20% fuel surcharge that we found out about only when the credit card charges went through. When booking you see a seemingly all inclusive total charge, but it does not include the surcharge, which is buried in fine print pages below. Dalton helped prepare us for kayaking experience by fitting us for life jackets and making sure we got out on the water safely. I booked a boat for my entire family, Saturday of 4th of July weekend. We all traveled in from various locations to spend the day on the lake. We drove the boat for 5 minutes and the engine went dead. We had to wait for them to come pull us in. Which took over an hour. After returning all that was told to me was "sorry we don't have any other boats. Your refund will appear in 3-5 business days". They could care less that my entire weekend was ruined. Not a single mention of the inconvenience. I have rented from here multiple times in the past. It's saddening that I will not be returning after this poor experience. read more

i've never been to an establishment where I couldn't drive a jet ski because I wasn't 30 years old. this was my boyfriend's anniversary (6/7) surprise for me but we will never go here again. i've been riding jet skis since I was 16 & texas law allows even younger. might as well make the drive to lake travis where it's more spacious & not as strict. I have mixed feelings. Staff is young and nice yet not too accommodating. The portable toilet is hmm well not my favorite. Also by no fault of theirs I got a small heat stroke. When I asked the staff for a glass of water or if they have any I could buy, the response was no. They are definitely not trained to recognize warning signs if something is wrong. Also I connected with them via Google and I was informed I am able to rent that day. When I arrived I was told they were all booked. BUYER BEWARE. 1097 Watersports jet skis are very old and you may well expect to have your $300 deposit witheld when the engine develop problems even though the rider is a total novice and stays in deepwater. When trying to resolve the issue and leaving 3 messages with staff members (not voicemail) for the owner/ manager to call you to resolve concerns, he will not return messages. The staff at the rental office have no authority to make client-pleasing solutions. They may be spending money on the shore facilities, but of the 13 jet skis they posses, 4 were out of order Saturday 6/11 and then the one our group rented broke down, and we spent the balance of our time seeking a rescue. BUYER BEWARE. This company is not client-service focused, and you may well loose money on a jet-ski rental as the machines are unreliable. It's a great shame to write this damning review, as I've rented from them before at this and the prior locations. read more

Staff is very friendly and got us out in the water at the scheduled time. I would leave 5 stars, but the red pontoon boat is in relatively poor condition for the rate charged, which works out to about $300.00 an hour. It's probably time for them to replace it. The tube rope was also a knotted mess, which has an impact on safety. None the less, we had a great time on the lake and appreciated the staff. read more

Stay away! This business charged our credit card $600. They gave us an old jet ski and the thing gave out in the middle of the lake. They took their time and we started going towards the shore because we we're sinking and my 10!yr old son was scared. They finally came and took us back. We were cut short of our time, but we left because they were closing. A few days later, we saw our cc with a $600. charge. They never told us why and we tried to contact them, emails, phone calls and they wouldn't give us a response until the bank got them on the phone. They blamed us for the malfunction of the jet ski, really? where? how? we had nothing to do with it. It looks like this is their practice as I read others had the same experience. giving these guys 5 stars because the two young men working on Sunday 3/7/21 were rockstars! They were able to pick us jet skis based off their favorites to ride and warned us of the chilly waters. When I freaked out because I left my jet ski was too fast/ hard to control on rougher waters, i came back to doc prepared to loose my money because I was too afraid of falling in, the guys put me right back on a slower ski and made me feel comfortable to go back out and I had a great time! Can't wait to come back in the summer. Warning- the address on google is outdated and may take you to their old location which is 25 min away from current location so make sure you have the correct address. This caused us to miss our scheduled appoint but luckily for us it was a slow day for them and we were still able to keep our reservations. There is normally a more strict policy on late shows. read more

If I could give them 0 starts I would. The WORST customer service and experience . We made reservation early Saturday morning to get there at the boat in not available due to a customer being "late". We had to wait there for an hour until another boat came back. I looked at my bank account and there was additional charges that I did not approve nor do I know where they came from. I sent an email- no response. I called today and the guys said "I don't see a reservation, I'm going to have to look for your contact but I have customers I'm going to have to call you back" read more

I do not usually leave ugly reviews, but this company needs some feedback. The young man with blonde hair had awful customer service. He barely said a word to us throughout our entire experience, he gave little to no instructions or tips regarding how to use the equipment, and failed to even smile or say a simple "thank you for renting". As soon as we got off the paddle boards, we tried to say thanks and have a slight conversation and he walked off and didn't say one word. The paddles for the paddle boards are also too short to paddle while standing up. They are only long enough for someone who is about 5'5 or shorter. These people are thieves! If you book an appointment and cancel within 5 minutes of booking they tell you that you cannot cancel. You are unable to read the cancellation policy and you have to click you agree to move on to the next stage in the process. So if you book a reservations and try to call back within 5 min to cancel they will tell you no refunds and they have to talk to the manager. When it's a bunch kids who are laughing and lying in the background. They tell you it's a corporate policy and when you ask for the corporate office number they say they are not allow to give out that information. Then the tell you have to speak with Joan. My husband and i rented a Jetski Saturday 07/19/2020. The jetski started sinking while we were in a "no wake" zone by Papa's on the Lake. The guys at Lake Conroe Water rentals helped us out and noticed there was NOT a drain plug on the jetski, so it would continue to take on water. Called 1097 Watersports and the kids working there wanted us to ride it back! We refused to get back on it and got a ride back over there instead. When i got to 1097 (at 7pm!), i was told "that was definitely our fault, we'll credit you and hour." My husband did NOT want an hour with a company that sent us out on an unsafe watercraft. The "manager" that was there Sunday 07/20/2020 refused to refund my husband and when he asked to call the owner, she refused stating she would be fired if he talked to the owner. Really unhappy with how these kids ran the business and lack of adult supervision/management. read more
