Well, we thought about over lunch and just decided to just purchase a chair. Terri showed us the options and let us just try out the chairs on our own time. We never felt rushed. It was obviously more than we originally thought of doing, but we are sure we won't regret it in the future. The only thing that didn't make us happy, and why this isn't four stars, was the price tag. We picked the chair we liked best & thought the price was what was on the tag. There were options below the big price, like heat & massage, which were things that could be added to the base. Oh, but the material that the chair used was on that list (which we didn't realize because it was not a common name). It was not in the large number on the price tag and added $900 to the price. We didn't know this until we were checking out. We do not blame Terri for this, but the company that thought this was a good idea. The tag should have had the final price, before taxes & delivery not the base price if you could buy it off of the floor like we did.

I told my partner we were going to see what that was, and I turned the car around, pulled into the small retail mall, and at the end of the mall was a business called, "Mobility City." We went in, and I was greeted by Geoff, the owner, and his service man who works on the wheelchairs. We talked a bit on what needed to be done on my wheelchair. The service man took it to the back of the store, steam cleaned it, tightened up the "wiggle," and replaced the two arm rests. A really great improvement for a tune up! Feels light new!! I was really impressed by his customer skills, and the eagerness he had for getting me back my wheelchair in tiptop shape! Quite by accident I found this place, and I'm very glad I did, because I did not think that there were any mobility Wheelchair stores in the area. The store is a modest size, and deals with a few different types of mobility services, including mobile wheelchairs WHICH ONE CAN RENT if need be! I am so glad I found this shop. The repair prices were decent, the replacement parts were affordable, and he was able to look at his inventory to see if other parts on my wheelchair could be replaced. I heartily recommend anyone who has mobility assisted devices to seriously check him out. I was very pleased with his service, and I now know if I need any parts for my wheelchair, he's right there to help.

So, i called and reached out to them and they had zero issues giving me some flexibility and allowing me to drop it off a few days later (from Saturday to Monday). I ended up dropping it off Monday but the staff was out for lunch and my ride couldn't wait so I called them and they directed me to leave it for them since they would be returning later that hour. There was no extra charges for any inconvenience and they were just so supportive and caring. I cannot recommend them enough so if you're in need of anything at all, this should be your one-stop-shop.

The owner, Eric, came out to my home to determine where the radon mitigation system could go and showed me how and where the pipes would be routed. He sent me a quote later that day by email and I scheduled installation a couple weeks later. The install took less than a couple hours, and the crew that came were very courteous. They ran floor coverings down to my basement so they wouldn't track in or out any debris and they cleaned up after themselves. They showed me what to keep an eye on to make sure the fan was working and provided some documents. This whole experience was very nice. I'm grateful to have a liveable basement now. Despite Eugene Aronov promising us repeatedly the couch would be in great condition and would last for a very long time with yearly upkeep and cleaning, the couch has begun to fall apart in less than one week. 1--The quote--We were quoted one price upon pick up of our couch, upon delivery we were given a much higher price (roughly 25% higher). The three employees refused to leave our house until the higher priced invoice was paid, despite repeated protests. 2--Deposit payment--Eugene requested we write our check to another company, All Citi Group, for deposit and final payment. I know this happens from time to time, companies use a trade name, business name, etc. But when I researched All Citi Group, it turns out they are not in good standing with the state of Illinois and therefore likely cannot be transacting business in the state (clearly I found this out after everything was finished). 3--The repair--Our couch was in pretty bad shape, some of the leather needed replaced, other portions needed reconditioned, a few seat backs needed resewing, the balance of the couch was to be dyed to match and be uniform. We knew the task would take awhile and require a fair amount of work. 4--The results--Photos are attached. The leather was replaced with faux leather. The sewing was subpar, as one of the photos shows stitches coming loose already. The leather was not dyed, but rather painted with some sort of cheap leather paint. It looked good when it arrived, within 2 days, the paint was rubbing off. 5--The response--Unfortunately despite multiple emails and phone calls, I have not received a single reply from this Eugene Aronov or this group as a whole. I wanted to wait a few days to post this, in case someone were to get back to me and we could clear this all up rather easily. But, it appears that result is of no interest to Sureway.
