As a beginner and someone who isn't as familiar with yoga, i felt very welcomed here and have gone back several times! The location is perfect as well with it being down the road from the pearl, so if you finish your workout you can stop by Rise up for an açaí bowl or smoothie, or even get a coffee or matcha from local at the pearl! The instructors are very helpful, so if you're struggling they do a good job at correcting your form and taking it slow. I will say the hot yoga classes can sometimes be fast paced and super hot so I recommend bringing a mat, a towel, a rag and water. Also make sure to arrive 10 minutes earlier if you can so you can have a preferred space to workout and because they lock the doors as soon as your session starts. If you're looking to step outside of your comfort zone this is a great way to do so!

Divine was a great re-introduction to my practice with a heavy emphasis on physically expressed personal spirituality. If you like the more earthy-crunchy woo-woo Aquarian stuff, kundalini may be a great fit. I felt right at home. On a more practical note, my incessant shoulder pain was made much more tolerable by the arm-heavy kria we did that day. They helped me rather a lot. It's enough movement to be a challenge while allowing room for a fat old man like me.

Even when your schedule is inconsistent, they will still give you tips to practice at home or while traveling. When you return, they will welcome you with open arms. The teachers are easy to talk with before and after class. They will help and encourage you along the way too. If you're new they're attentive to your needs. If you've practiced for a long time, they'll try to deepen your practice. I love what they do here. The best part is you can create your own experience here. There is a teacher or specific class that will meet your needs. Pick a class or a specific teacher and go to a class. Your body will appreciate the time too. If you're nervous, bring a friend. Super fun way to bond with people. I usually bring a friend almost every time.

There are different class types for all levels and the teachers are so kind, professional, and helpful. The studio and the surrounding grounds are so peaceful, well-kept and relaxing. The whole atmosphere will put you at ease. I always leave class (any class, from any teacher) and I feel calmer, healthier and relaxed. The downstairs has a bathroom and area to place your belongings. The upstairs is where the studio is with another restroom upstairs. The yogis face each other and there are no mirrors. Connie was very pleasant and her voice was soothing. I also enjoyed the calming lavender scent placed in my towel and over my eyes at shavasana. I have had a cold wet lavender towels at other places, but I prefer the dry one. The only suggestion I would make that wasn't too favorable was the chit chat between two members in the studio. I was trying to connect to my mat and my surroundings but it was difficult with the chatter going on. Overall a great experience and would definitely return on my future trips to SA.
