I was hoping this place would work out, just based on proximity to my house, overall I got to give it two stars. The haircut cost $43.50, which was $35 for the haircut, $3.50 for using a card and a $5 tip. Once the haircut was done, one side wasn't really blended in correctly, the top wasn't cut that right, nowhere near the quality in almost $50 haircut. Also, the place really isn't that nice inside. For $50, I'd rather go downtown, to a nice, clean and comfortable place and get a perfect haircut. read more

One of my boys has autism. The thought of taking him into a barbershop was overwhelming for both of us. But then we heard about Justin. Today we decided to give it a shot. Calvin, Jude, and I made our first trip in and, man, it was great! From the time we walked in, we were made welcome. Justin treated Calvin like a real person and worked with him. It was really amazing and Calvin loved it! He is still raving about Justin! Next was Jude's turn. At two, I wasn't expecting much but we got this great haircut. Justin works fast but not in a hurry. He knows how to interact with people regardless of how old they are or how they are wired. And his work is fantastic. Us boys got home and their sister screamed "you guys look so handsome!" Great barber shop but I can't book any appointments because the shops phone # won't work.

We started taking our son here to get his hair cut a couple years ago. He has Down syndrome and hates having his hair cut. But Justin at the 10 is absolutely amazing with him. He can give my son a great look even with my son fighting him off tooth and nail. And my son really likes Justin now (but still doesn't always love haircuts). read more

If I could rate this zero I would. I came in as a walk in and I only asked for a fade and a trim off the top. The sides of my hair are so uneven and the line up around my ears are horrible. The guy who cut my hair was named Bono. I would not reccommend anyone go here for a quick cut because you'll end up needing to go somewhere else to fix it. read more

Decided to give this place a shot after reading some of the reviews for this place on Yelp. I'll be honest, I was a bit intimidated when I first walked into here. However, the workers here were friendly and welcomed me right when I walked through the door. I was assisted within 5 minutes of entering. The guy who cut my hair did a good and thorough job of cutting my hair. (I forgot to ask for his name.) Keep up the good job, guys. I think this place would be better if barbers acknowledged new customers. The owner is down to earth. That was my one and only experience.

Based on reviews I took my teenage son in as a walk-in. We were not greeted or acknowledged by the staff in any way. I did not see a reception or sign in sheet anywhere. I don't know if that's just how men's barber shops normally operate but I found it very confusing & a bit rude. But...we decided to still give the place a try because my son liked the work they do (as seen on the customers that were leaving). There were about 20 people in the waiting area already so I figured that they had some system of knowing who was next. Anyway, I left my son to wait while I took my younger one to the Children's Restore a few doors down - they are awesome btw. My son decided to give up waiting after about 25 minutes (still no acknowledgement from the staff or any sign of a receptionist) & we went to Fantastic Sams where we were immediately greeted upon entrance & were directed to an obvious sign in sheet. As we did see that The 10 does do good work we will make an appointment next time & see how it goes & hopefully can change my rating. read more

I have been getting my hair cut here for 8-9 months now. Jeff is my personal barber. Every time I text him for an appt, he always responds and makes himself available to fit around my schedule. Additionally is an all around friendly good guy, not to mention he cuts my hair extremely well in just the way I like it. The shop is easy to miss, since it is right in the middle of the plaza it is in, but it is definitely worth checking out at least once. read more

I usually get my hair cut at great clips or super cuts or cut it myself. I have only been to a barber shop a handful of times and generally speaking usually have a good experience. I like to get my hair cut short, 4 on top and 1 on the sides and back. Fade. the barber that cut my hair did a great job. I brought my five year old girl with me to get my hair cut. Well it was not a good environment for a little girl. They were playing unedited rap music on the house speakers (lots of swearing). So keep that in mind if you have young ones. I arrived at the barber shop at about 2:00 pm in the afternoon on a Saturday and there were three barbers working. They have a total of five barber chairs. There were about 8 people waiting in front of me. From my perspective all three barbers that were working knew what they were doing. Actually they were really good. Two of the barbers took their time and took well over a half hour per haircut. (This could be a good thing and a bad thing). From start to finish i was in the store over two hours. The thing about barber shops is people come in and there is no sign in sheet or checking in. So i was sitting and waiting while two newer customers came in and got their hair cut before me. read more

I just moved from Los Angeles to highland and needed a good barber so looked on yelp searching for a good barber and found Danny because I liked the way he faded hair based on the pictures I seen on yelp, I went to his shop and as I was walking up to the shop I seen a barber standing outside on his phone I asked if Danny was available and he said he was Danny , Danny was working on his last customer for the day and still took me in and gave me a really really nice haircut.
