I cannot say enough good things about this barbershop! As a mom of a child with autism, haircuts have always been incredibly stressful for us due to my son's sensory sensitivities especially with clippers. But today, everything changed. From the moment we walked in, they made sure my son felt safe and comfortable. They had fidget toys ready for him, played his favorite cartoon on a tablet, and most importantly they listened. Instead of using clippers, which are usually too overwhelming for him, they patiently used only scissors. They didn't rush him, they spoke kindly and gently, and they celebrated every step of progress. For the first time in a long time, my son left a haircut smiling. If you're a special needs parent, you know how rare and meaningful this kind of care is. This barbershop didn't just give my son a great haircut they gave us a moment of peace and joy. Longer hair styles does not seem to be their forte. I like the fact they are a faith based barbershop, and everyone was definitely nice. However this was our first and list time there. I took my son in with longer curly/wavy hair (only seeking a trim of 1/2 inch on top and clean up on the sides). I was told by Mark that he had someone that could do the cut. I won't mention the name of the barber because the cut was by far the worst haircut my son received. I deeply regret my visit as my son is now distraught having to go to school with his haircut. I'm at a complete loss as to what the barber did. I hope all goes well for this business, but it's safe to say I would never put any of my kids through this experience ever again. read more

I needed a new stylist since I no longer wished to commute to get a haircut. I was referred to Mark and his business. After figuring out how to walk thru his screen door, I was seated right away with Roman. The man specifically how I wanted my hair and got to work. I knew there was going to be a bit of a language barrier with her speaking little English and me not knowing Spanish. My son and I had the best experience here! The entire staff was so friendly and made the entire experience go so smoothly. My son is almost 2 and this was his 2nd cut. I was nervous because the 1st one was disastrous - he cried the whole time (different barber shop). Jesus was his barber for this cut and he was absolutely amazing. Not only did he give my son the best cut, but he was so great with him too. My son was calm for the entire experience and I am so thankful to Jesus for that. My husband came in because we noticed at first glance the $25 haircut billboard displayed out front but upon getting in closer its only for Tuesdays but seriously $40 for a man's haircut without a wash and then when my husband asked if he wanted prayer they started praying about my husband's grandchildren when we dont even have children. read more

Popped in on a Saturday morning with no appointment. The owner, Mark, immediately greeted me with a firm handshake as if we were old friends. He asked me to have a seat and said I'd be next up with Javier. The shop was filled with friendly conversation along all the barbers and clients. Javier gave me an excellent haircut which came out exactly like I hoped it would. There was a mixup when making change where I tipped but didn't pay for the actual cut, but Javier caught it as I was walking out and didn't treat me like I was trying to pull a fast one which I appreciated because it could've looked that way. Disappointed I came here a few days ago to layer my mullet (my hair is about 4 inches long) the guy said he can do it but sounded very unsure and ended up cutting my hair way to short, Bad place to go to if you like longer hair styles their knowledge of hair cutting is immensely limited to very short tight cuts like skin fades and tapers.
