I tried the breakfast burger deluxe and added bacon, and it was at least an 8 oz diner sized burger, cooked medium as ordered. Any space left over in the tin was stuffed w/ French fries. The whole platter could've fed me for the day or finishing it one sitting would be the perfect cure for insomnia. They're also have agua frescas which are refreshing and milkshakes which also made me want to take a nap afterwards. The staff are friendly, efficient and well skilled in turning out lots of food quickly. I'm glad this place is still here and still serving the workers and people in the neighborhood at a reasonable price.

I was looking for something to eat, but found this lunch spot that opened in the late morning. Most of the foods were already placed out, so I can just pick from them. It was oxtail day. It looked so good and juicy. I got a plate of that with choice of 3 sides: yellow rice, vegetables and 1/4 slice avocado. That was a good mix of meat, carbs and veggies. It's a big plate with a good amount of oxtail pieces about 5, including 2 big ones. Yummy yum. Their green sauce is so good. It's not that spicy, only a little kick. I had leftovers too. It's about $21 with tax. They don't always serve it. Only available 3 days of the week. A little splurge, but so tasty. They have multiple locations. This location has spacious seatings. Staff were nice.

The sandwich was suppose to come with lettuce, tomato, onions, and mayo. When I got to work and unwrapped the sandwich It had only onions and a very little amount of mayo. If I try to go for lunch during the school year it's full of students. Since the checkout and register is by the front door it's not easy to do business. Now that it's summer, it's still busy with the hospital right across the street. You can see by my photos a lot of painters and construction workers eat here too. There's a wide variety of customers from the neighborhood. Word has spread that it's good, quick, and inexpensive! Since they are open 24 hours I go when the sun comes up. I usually buy coffee because it's good. The cashier has the coffee up front. It's easy grab and go. Today after my doctor appointment I came early and was the only one in line. I ordered a Chopped Cheese Beef on a roll with no tomato. It was done in no time. The man preparing the food is really nice. I took it to the front cashier and it's the honor system. I said what I had and he said $5. I got a small coffee too and it came to $6! So inexpensive! I told him I'll definitely be back. I took my bag home and spread it out to enjoy. It's huge! I could have saved half but it was so delicious I couldn't stop. I was disappointed in the amount of cheese! It would have been Five Stars if it was dripping with cheese! Next time I'll tell him extra cheese! I can't complain at ALL about the taste. The way the beef is prepared was delicious. I thought a chopped cheese had onions but there wasn't any onions. Before I get another one here I'm going to try the place north of here. Yelpers rave about their Chopped Cheese! I learned that Chopped Cheese Sandwich is a New York thing. (Google it) I think I'm sold!! I will definitely return to Olive Oasis and try other sandwiches. I'm over due for a grilled cheese with bacon! I'm recommending Olive Oasis! Everyone that works there is nice and they're open 24/7! It's well stocked and clean too.

I'm a woman on a mission!…read more In search of a diner walking distance from our apartment with good omelets and pancakes. My husband and I order our own eggs and split a pancake or two, inevitably taking something home. While you may disagree, I'm really keen on the pancakes at IHop. But this is Manhattan, the only IHop is on 14th Street and their reviews are less than stellar. Today's breakfast: 3 Decker Diner on Second Avenue and 91st Street. Worthy of a repeat visit. The pancakes were okay, although could be sweeter and lighter. The menu was a bit difficult to navigate, but they offer a wide variety of omelets. I chose the "chef": Italian sausage, onions and mozzarella -- hold the Spanish sauce. T went with their Nina omelet: ham, onions, mushrooms and Swiss cheese. Both priced at $17.95. Omelets are served with home fries -- better than our usual place -- and toast. If you come before noon you'll get a free tiny glass of oj as well as a bottomless cup of coffee. (The coffee alone saves money.) Note that if you want half and half, you have to ask for it. Otherwise they default to milk. Though several employees tended to us, I actually asked: "should we be dealing with one particular server?" And the answer is YES. (So why was everyone coming to our table?!) The person who takes the order is the designated server. (I guess this has to do with gratuities.) And while other restaurants frequently charge more if you pay with a credit card, 3 Decker doesn't. At least not yet.

It was exactly the kind of Sunday morning vibe we were hoping for: relaxed, easy, and just perfect for catching up. The cafe is tucked on the top floor of Fairway Market, which gives it a bright, airy feel and a little sense of escape from the hustle and bustle below. As the morning went on, it got a bit busier, but the atmosphere stayed civilized and welcoming -- not chaotic at all. And the best part? Everything is surprisingly affordable, so you can savor your coffee and snack without guilt. If you're looking for a chill Sunday spot to linger, chat, and enjoy a good yogurt bowl (and coffee that hits the mark), Fairway Cafe is a total win. I'll definitely be back! This restaurant has a RACIST employee who treated customers differently based on their race. I…read moreexperienced clear racial discrimination today at another location. The Black male employee at the checkout counter did NOT greet me (Asian) at all. But he said "welcome welcome" to Spanish/Hispanic guest and "hello" to White and other non-Asian guests. When I called him out, he responded "I am a racist?" without denying the behavior. This is systematic racial discrimination targeting Asian customers across multiple 7th Street Burger locations. Asian customers receive NO greeting, while White, Spanish/Hispanic, and other non-Asian customers receive warm greetings. This made me feel deeply disrespect. All customers should receive equal service regardless of their race. I expect the management to investigate these employees and provide anti-discrimination training to staff. I will not be returning until this is addressed. Others should be aware of this discriminatory treatment.
