The sunroom they built for me leaks terribly mind you they charged me to take down the first patio that was leaking. They said they would rebuild it properly and took over $20,000 of my money. Called them multiple times to come fix it and it still leaks. Called them again over a dozen times. They finally came a second time to fix it then a couple months later leaking again. Called many times they finally came out to fix it flashing hasn't peeled off again but the sunroom still leaks terribly. I'm so exhausted of dealing with them. If I could give zero stars, I would. This company is an absolute scam, using the most aggressive and predatory sales tactics imaginable. The moment you sign their contract, they disappear--conveniently ignoring calls and emails until your 48-hour cancellation window closes. They have ZERO respect for your time or property. I explicitly told them I no longer wanted the work done, leaving multiple voicemails and emails. And what do I come home to? My entire roof torn off without my consent. At that point, I had no choice but to let them finish, which took a ridiculous 2-3 weeks. When they were done, my driveway was littered with nails and debris, causing multiple flat tires. And did they take any responsibility? Of course not--no compensation, no discount, nothing. To make matters worse, they locked me into a financing agreement under completely false pretenses. I was promised one price, only to receive a high-interest credit card bill for double the original amount. Fast forward five years, and now my roof is leaking -- as it has been since the first major rain after completion. Their so-called lifetime warranty is a complete joke. They refuse to honor it, sending out technicians who "fix" the problem when no one is home--only for nothing to actually be fixed. I've been ignored, lied to, and left with a faulty roof even after they have been paid in full. Avoid this company at all costs. They are destroying people's homes and finances with their deceitful practices. It's disgusting that hardworking people are losing their homes because of their fraudulent business model. Hired this company to do my front yard in 2020. They guaranteed the materials and the work advertised as using industrial products like weed tarp to keep the weeds from coming through. A year in and weeds everywhere, I called them they came out sprayed the weeds through "the warranty" and told me I needed to get a Gardner if weeds come through again. Another year goes by the border of my artificial turf comes apart it was a hassle getting them back out but they finally send someone out through "the warranty". Two years later a different spot of the border around the artificial turf comes apart I reach out by email as my warranty advised and get no response for weeks so I call. I was then told well your warranty is up so you will have to pay for labor ummm no in my contract you guaranteed a lifetime warranty? We don't have that on file. My thoughts of course you don't but I have it they then say, Ok well send someone out to check it they send a field manager out I show him the warranty he says ok I will send it in for approval. I reach out to the field manager about a week later he says my request was denied with no explanation but he will resend it. I then hear nothing else from anyone and it has now been a month and a half. No email no phone call no text from field manager just nothing. Horrible company they lied about industrial products being used and they will not honor their "lifetime warranty". They are scammers who are taking advantage of people and are over priced for the quality of work. They also charge ridiculous interest if you finance through PACE. I will be paying off this loan and suing this company. read more

The guy didnt know anything about managing projects, he brags about his years of exp to build his sales pitch, but when it comes down to it... he falls short every step! He's only good at selling but doesn't pay attention to what he says or details of work. I had to micromanage everything, everyday, in every step! They undermine customer knowledge by saying ''Are you in construction? Do you have years of exp?'' They purposely do not include everything in writing with the contract. Later when you remind them, they deny the whole agreement saying 'we never do this for our clients, I don't know why I would promise you this' I wouldn't recommend this company to anybody. They use ill practices, will manipulate you the second they find an opportunity, and if you happen to cancel a part of the project because of their failure... then you can consider throwing money down the drain! They won't own up to their mistakes, instead you end up paying for it, literally paying for it! Even after getting paid in full, they send people to my house without my permission, trespassing in my property, because they want '100% completion document signed' or else they won't release warranty.. At the end... They never gave solar lights for my backyard as promised ... Baseboard installation with the new floor was poorly done... My retaining wall was not installed to contractual measure by a whole layer of blocks and they never adjusted my contract to reduce cost... I had to fight to get my pavers sealed, not something they are willing to do... They installed a bender board, and I have a screw sticking out... While installing pavers, they damaged my stucco and door trim... Out of all the pavers, one brick looks super messed up and they didn't even bother replacing it.. They still havent released warranty but will harass you day/night to get paid.. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. They replaced the entire bottom floor of our home. Every mistake you could make they did. Want to know how I Know? The manufacturer of the flooring was more than happy to send me the installation instructions, and inspection requirements. I tell you now, 1 Stop DID NOT follow the manufacturer instructions. As I watched the installation I knew something was wrong. After 3 years and a total replacement of the lower level, its sad to report they did another crappy job. There is no value to the service. I have to have others come in and fix items such as the molding installed over the plastic corner protectors on the corners of my walls. Some of the ripples are coming back. indicating the lot number used was mixed in with the original lot. A three year ordeal with no call backs from 1Stop. Finally a representative called back after I contacted BBB who notified CA STATE Licensing Board. read more

We got a patio done with 1 Stop Builders, and I'm in love! We met with Nate and he gave us all our different design options' we decided to go with the white alumawood with 2 ceiling fans. The work was done great and fairly quickly after we got the permits. Nate made sure to give us the schedule everyday and if anything changes we knew about it. Now that we can host things in our backyard we are inviting Nate over for Adobo soon. I asked them to finish the top of my patio cover, that it is not complete. They said it was perfect. I told them I did not want it, if I had known what it was going to look like, I would not have gone through with the project! The project also went on for months and months, and they still have not completed the project to the customer's satisfaction. I have told them I am not paying them and they have threatened a lien on my property. This company allows its employees to drink on the job. They make errors and allow their workers to yell at you as if it is your fault. The left a razor blade and a cigarette out where my 8 year old went out and found them. They bully and harass you to pay before the job is done to the customer's satisfaction - even though the contract states not to. When I brought this up they threatened a lawsuit because they are done. One of the safety bar foam pieces magically disappeared. I was told to figure something out, because they did not know what to do about it. The trampoline safety padding was supposed to be placed into the ground, and was told, it looks fine, what do you want me to do about it, after I had said what I wanted. Things are already starting to come apart from this project. It was also stated in the contract they were supposed to clean up after themselves - there is still dried concrete spatters. When I brought this up, I was given attitude and asked, is this really why you are not paying. I kept saying over and over I did not want the patio cover. I have filed a complaint with the California Contractors Board. **UPDATE*** They sent over their customer service manager to see my concerns. I showed him the patio cover and let him know they need to show potential customers what the top is going to look like because if I had known it would look like it did I would NOT have gotten it. I told him how it made me feel every time I opened my curtains and he actually laughed at me! He claimed there was most likely a lien already placed on my house because I am not signing a completed project release of payment. Their company lawyer told me 2 days prior it would be removed. So, someone is lying to me. I told him I wanted to remove the patio cover and be refunded the amount because I was not given a true picture of what the final product would look like. He said they would have to charge me for the labor. This is the manager of customer service. He then proceeds to say they all look like this and I told him there was no way that people are okay with this. Then we were outside I was statin I did not receive the two fans I was promised. He said that would look really funny to put another fan or you would have to deal with a hole in your patio cover. Then he changed his story stating that the city would probably not allow two fans. I pointed to my neighbor's that had two. He says, "oh that's horrible" I told him I would love for mine to look like that. He then said the roof looked nice and said they could do that, but it would cost me. read more

Update so hopefully I will stop being called and visited by the company: come to find out there is no proof of mold, including pictures. I was sent pictures of someone else's house more than once and with some digital research on the picture and it's history (which the company tried to remove) it was clearly stamped/taken Dec 2019 but the mold was "found" in September 2019. There is now proof showing what a fraud the whole event was but the charge of over $12k was certainly never refunded. The company admitted they do not have the pictures or proof of the mold. The customer service representative is polite and wants to help, he provided written apologizes about the incident below and I hope he finds a respectable company to represent in the future. The refund check was removed by one of your employees (without my permission) from my personal folder after I signed a document with an edit he didn't approve of. After asking him to leave my house (more than once because he wouldn't) he called me a pussy, called me a liar and having body language of wanting to start a physical altercation while there were children sleeping in the house. He also spoke to another person who was in the house with anger when they literally had nothing to do with this and merely sat in our living room on their phone the whole time. So while I spoke to someone from your company saying the bathroom was done now there's new issues. There is evidence of all this statement, it's being sorted and my first review will stay as is. Please inform your company to have the individuals calling myself and girlfriend every few days requesting the review be removed to stop. We are still waiting for trefund check. read more

DO NOT OPEN YOUR DOOR! Everyone giving a good review has definitely been bribed with some sort of gift card or dinner. They tried asking us to leave a good review for $100. We never open our door when someone knocks. Till this day we wonder why we opened the door that November afternoon. Lies! They are full of lies! Working with 1Stop has been a complete nightmare and headache. There is absolutely no communication amongst their team and homeowners. We are not going to lie our backyard does look nice BUT it's not holding up. We've been in contact with 1Stop for at least the last 6 months. We have spoken to everyone you can imagine. Erik came out, took videos and pictures. Promised everything would be fixed come to find out he no longer works for the company. The Office Manager also decided to call it quits. It's a revolving door around there. We finally got a hold of the new office manager, we Explained the situation over and over again since this company does not know how to keep notes or pictures in a file. We have once again been promised that someone will take care of it and this is probably month 2 already and NOTHING has been done. Wow! All we are asking is that they send qualified staff to come out and fix the issues. The turf they laid is not butted up to the concrete, bendaboard and drains. The entire turfed area has humps, bumps and dips. The seams are extremely noticeable. All of the sand/gravel mixture underneath the grass is coming out of the edges. The nails are coming off! One of our kids got hurt with a nail. We got a couple larger pavers which are sinking into the ground and the turf is no where near the edges of them. We ended up having to trash all of the cheap mulch they brought us because we noticed a crap ton of mosquitos on them. Well to put a cherry on the top we recently noticed that our concrete sounds hallow. The concrete vibrates when a ball is bounced on it. We have cracks all over the joints and all over in general. The concrete is only a year old. The concrete is darker than usual and we were told it was due to the PSI being high and clearly we asked for confirmation of the PSI and the records can't be found. We've requested all of the specs of the concrete pour and have yet to receive them. We are now working with a new Warranty rep, his name is Miguel. He is not diligently working on the issue. Everyday we talk to him he promises that his staff is coming out but no one comes. He keeps saying he assumes that his staff would be here. How can you assume? Aren't you the one in charge of the subcontractors? Shouldn't you have your people come through? Why don't they follow through? No communication is the problem. By the way, the sales person is going to bring you stuff as a "token" of appreciation during the project but this is BS. We ended up telling them we don't need their crap. We just want the work to be done correctly. Your gifts and goodies aren't going to do anything for us. Don't don't don't work with them. I highly recommend you do your research. We are going to start looking into legal actions. We shouldn't have to be calling the company day after day to get our warranty work done. If I could have them come pick it all up I totally would and go with a reputable company. Not garbage company that doesn't follow through. read more
