I know they served good Roast Duck but I want to try something different this time... however Big mistake I still can't understand how they served terrible food for paying customers ? We ordered several dish but Salt & pepper Calamari and Singapore mei fun was so bad. Calamari was way too over cooked, no flavors and hard as rocks. Singapore Mei fun was salty, noodle was soggy and mussy. Too much cabbage and no Bean sprouts. Totally different as what I expected. growing up this place was actually pretty good. their duck mein soup had a savory rich broth and was what they were known for. It's been awhile since i've come back and i was so disappointed. The duck fun soup lacked flavor , the noodles were still frozen and clumped together. I also ordered the medium house special pho which also tasted watered down and they barely put any meat inside . I would rather pay to go to pho viet or vans for a more decent amount of meat and better tasting broth. Lastly , ordered the sweet and sour spareribs pork was tough, dry and over cooked heavily in oil. Some pieces i couldn't even bite into. For me , pho is my kryptonite and i've tried many many different pho restaurants this place should stick to chinese cuisine or not even that. We were here for late lunch, and walked in, inside it's a little mess, with boxes all over the floor. But we are hungry so we ordered. The food came quickly, i get chicken lettuce, it's dry and you suppose to add their store source and wrapped with lettuce, it's then delicious! I used up all my lettuce when i just ate half of the chicken, so i ask the waiter to see whether i could get more lettuce. Found this place from the Valet attendant from the Grand Naniloa. While I was looking st the menu I saw Duck soup with veggies. I had to try it. I wanted to try their chow mein too. So I asked if I could get duck and veggie soup without the noodles. The duck veggie soup was delicious. I loved the broth and the duck wasn't fatty. It was very tasty. I would indulge in that again! Since I ordered To-Go they packaged the veggies and the duck separately. The chow mein was alright. It was good but it didn't taste like Bay Area chow mein, which I was craving. So it's not their fault I thought it was ok. I can't believe expect to find the same style cooking since I'm in another state. For the Big Island it was delicious. Obviously I couldn't eat l of it but I had a fridge in my room, so it worked out to eat it the next day. Service was amazing! The two ladies that day were so friendly and happy. Since the change in management and staff, the food prices have gone up and the food amount is less. They never come to check on us or fill our drinks. We usually ask for hot mustard and they never bring is so we either have to get up and ask for it or hope they look our way so we can wave them down. THEY NEVER HAVE ROAST PORK! (If you know, you know). The crab rangoons have NO filling now. Before it was literally in every bite, now your lucky if your first bite has some of the filling and if it does, the rest of it has no filling. Good restaurant with plenty of seating and parking. They are usually very busy and service may be delayed as they seem to be short staffed. The food here is delicious! We had the garlic chicken, honey walnut shrimp, vegetable chow fun and summer roll. The garlic fried chicken is off the charts! Fried extra crispy with tons of garlic. The summer roll is also delicious. The honey walnut shrimp wasn't it for me. I like my home walnut shrimp coated and fried and then topped with the honey sauce. This shrimp came out just pan fried with the sauce over it. No batter coating. The vegetable chow fun was delicious as well. I don't understand the 3 star rating. This place was great! I walked in, it was busy, but I waited patently and eventually they saw me and seated me. Got to order within 5 mins of being seated. Food was ready within 5-10 mins. The beef pho hit the spot. In fact the broth was so good and simple. The summer roll was good too. For reference I like simple flavors. I don't add sauces to my broth except for the veggies I they give. Otherwise I'm totally coming back especially since I work nearby!!! read more

Staff is warm and friendly and very accommodating. It wasn't on the menu, but they made a combo plate of roast duck and roast pork. I guess they had to adjust the amount of each to keep the price the same. I had the garlic eggplant, which didn't come with rice, but they put a double order of rice with the combo plate and left the salad off. We went there a few weeks ago and boy was it so different. The duck was terrible. So smelly and tasted weird. I can't eat that anymore. The char siu chow mein used to be awesome but this time it was horrible. Also ordered the choy sum with beef and it wasn't good. Absolutely love this place. It was our first stop after arriving from the airport and our last stop before leaving. We liked it so much that we took extra plates to go on our flight back to Oahu. The servers are so friendly and provide the better service than higher rated places I've been to on island. My go to are the special chow mein and the duck and roast pork mein soup. This place is a very friendly restaurant. Upon entering, all workers greet you with a smile and a wave. The seating is of choice and they come quickly. Water comes immediately after you receive your menu. The food choices are vast and the menu comes both written and pictorial. Our food came in a decent time that it takes to be made FRESH. The food arrived hot and tasty. Very delicious!!! The waiter came around several times to ask how we're doing and offering to refill our sodas. Great customer service!!! The location is great as there are other businesses there that are open. It's a safe environment with ample parking and lots off people. We came here after reading some not so good reviews about this place. We really wanted some pho so we decided to give it a go. First off this place has no decorations at all. There is so much potential to make this look welcome and inviting for the customers. The floor is beautiful, but the walls are barren. They need to hang up some artwork of some sort on the walls. The bathroom was pretty gross. It looks like they never clean it. The pho was actually pretty good. Not the best we have ever tried, but definitely not the worst. I ordered the meat ball one and I received a huge amount of meat balls. I do wish they put more green onion in the broth and more bean sprouts on the shares veggie plate. #22 for 2018 Located in a strip small serving local favorites supposed fast food. There's parking but during peek hours, especially on the weekends, this can get tricky. Drive with patience. I was here for take out picking up for a bunch of people. The big order was for 3 House Special Chow Fun. That looked and tasted great. Definite winner there. This was the saving grace for the whole order. And, good thing 3 of these were ordered. We also had the House Special Fried Rice. Didn't care for this dish. When I order fried rice I expect to have some meats and some veges mixed into it. It's not just rice that's fried up. There was hardly anything in this that separated from regular rice except the oil it was fried in. When I make fried rice I use big chunks that can be easily seen and distinguished what it is. I could barely seen anything in this. I paid the price equal to a 5lb bag of rice and I didn't get anything back to satisfy what I paid. The Special Beef was the same thing. Slices of beef with onions and celery. Clearly this was asian. The veges were done right. The beef was too chewy. There wasn't much taste. Eating this with the Fried Rice did not make it any better for either. The ladies were friendly and kind of nice. And that was the saving grace. I would rather not come here again.
