I had a pedicure, and she did a really nice job. My two friends had gel nails, manicure and pedicure. The one technician took so long to do my friends gel pedicure that she opted not to get the manicure. Both of the technicians kept scrapping the gel heater on their nails so they would have to re-do the nail. We were there two hours by the time we finished. This place sucks. It smells and they don't wear gloves. When I walked in there was a lady sleeping on a chair and the chairs are dirty. They were also eating and I'm pretty sure they didn't wash their hands and the lady wasn't even wearing shoes. For manicure and pedicure, I always go to Nancy. My mom always goes to Tina for her acrylics. One of the ladies (Tai?) did a fantastic job on my haircut: an angled bob on curly hair. I will always go to Nancy for manipedis because she gets into the space on the side of my big toe like nobody else! Plus, she paints the polish on without getting it on the cuticle and caps the nail with. Also, she trims away the most cuticle without hurting me. read more

I'd been here before and had no problem with the younger girl, today I had two older women, one did an amazing pedicure and the owner apparently was doing my hands. I changed my mind about doing only gel right after she started filing my second nail and asked if she could do a shorter acrylic for a longer look. Originally it was going to be $55 for gel on both my hands and feet. I was then told $70 was the new total and then I asked for a French tip and that would be $75. She did not clean up my cuticles or do what a normal nail cleanup would be and glued my skin to the sides of the fake nail on almost all of my fingers. She took off her mask bc she couldn't see and was wearing glasses. Then the French tip was sloppy even though she tried to clean it up, and on a couple of nails the acrylic looks weird and dried out and is totally visible. I wish she would've just said she couldn't do it and I would've done something else. She was going to do my feet next and I didn't even want to bother with it after how badly she screwed up my hands. So my toes are completely unpolished and I've pointed out my messed French tip. She charged me $71 for I don't know what I asked her to explain it to me and then she wouldn't even speak to me English anymore and I showed the girl that did my pedicure that the manicure wasn't even good and that my cuticles looked horrible and then the owner just kept speaking in her language and at this point I can't keep my eyes from watering bc I can't believe I have to go home with these ugly nails that I was charged more than full price for. I've been coming here since the pandemic hit. They were one of the first places to reopen. Tai (the owner) is very skilled at MANY services. She does and EXCELLENT job of Dip nails. Tina (Nail Technician) does an AMAZING Gel Pedi. I've been getting my nails done for over 30 years. I confidently say I come here and plan on continuing to go here based on there level of service. Last month I had a special situation and Tai came in on her day off to help me. I really appreciate the service and level of care I receive here. I highly recommend this place. The nails are great and the lash artist Lynn is excellent! My one star is for the lash artist Ty. She cannot do lashes well. I came in to get my lashes done by Lynn but she was not there and I had to do them before a trip for a wedding. I got them done by Ty on a Wednesday and by the following Monday most of them were gone. I started calling on Wednesday trying to get ahold of Ty and finally had to come in to speak with her in person on Friday because I couldn't get a hold of her. She said I waited 11 days - idk how Wednesday to Friday is 11 days but - she told me she only gives refunds within 3 days and she will do fills at 1 week. I've never heard of such a policy since lashes should last at least 2 weeks. Every artist I have worked with will refund lashes if they all fall off within 1 week and do half fills at 2. Standard. Her retention is BAD. Needless to say she did not want to give me even half of my money back which I would've been ok with. Oh, and the way she placed my lashes was terrible, no blending the lengths (I had to trim the ends with my brow scissors to blend them) and not volume, which is what I paid for. I was ok with them after trimming but the way this ended really left a sour taste in my mouth for her work. read more

This is by far the best nail salon in Redondo Beach! It's a little hidden gem and I'm so lucky I discovered it. I always get a gel manicure and pedicure and every experience has been pleasant. The pedicures here are amazing! Plan on coming when you have time to spare because they take their time and make sure you are relaxed. One of the best parts about the salon is that they take the time to get to know you. Nancy and the other technicians always make me feel welcomed. They have several different spa packages including paraffin dips, sugar scrubs, and hot lotions. They also offer additional services like facials, waxing, and eyelash extensions. It's definitely a one stop shop. I recommend this place to any one! I haven't been since April. Ty, the owner, did a horrible job on my nails and I've never been back.
