Shrimp tempura roll was delicious - will definitely be back to try more sushi (apparently they do half price sushi on Sundays and also have ramen on Sundays too!), other delicious appetizers we tried included the dumplings, the fried mushrooms and the fresh guacamole. All our mains were delicious too - several large double burgers including the dipping ones that come with melted white queso to dip in and the pork and beef tacos. Finished up with some great fresh beignets just like those at cafe du monde in New Orleans. Service was friendly and quick and prices were very reasonable for the excellent quality and creativity. We'll be back soon!

Hostess asks for my name, finds my reservation, and says she doesn't know how long it's going to be. Then another lady grabs the tablet from her and yells at her to stop seating walk ins when they're fully booked with reservations and they have no tables. Needless to say we were not seated anywhere near our reservation time. Our waitress was typical of the current terrible service in the restaurant industry. Takes order, brings drinks, and you never see them again until they bring the check. They have food runners bring the food out, so if you need anything, they just look at you like a deer in the headlights and walk away. We really liked the food, which is why I gave 4 stars. The pretzel with beer cheese appetizer is worth driving there for. The burger was very tasty and prepared well. I'll agree with other people in that it is a little too pricey. The appetizers shouldn't be the same price or higher than entrees, and the $3+ sodas are just ridiculous. I can see how some people think it's too loud in there, but I guarantee tonight was as packed as they get, and we didn't think it was too bad. I like the style of the place and the seats were pretty comfy. We would eat here again if we're in the area.

All of them make us and everyone that walks through the door feel special. You can also order takeout. But the experience of just being there is worth it. The kitchen is ran like a well oiled machine. They stay busy not only frying chicken but all the other wonderful menu items you will find. Lol Ambiance was old strip mall dining. Funny signs throughout. Plenty of seating. I hadn't eaten yet so I ordered breakfast even though it was lunchtime. Thin slice Ribeye steak with 2 eggs over medium, potatoes and my favorite-rye bread. Hubby got a cheeseburger and fries. Someone else wanted to try their chicken and waffles. Let me just say, I was pleasantly surprised at how good my food was. My eggs were perfect, the steak was very flavorful, hubby said his burger was delicious. Our friends daughters are picky eaters and they loved their burgers with Grippo's chips. And the chicken and waffles was a hit as well. I would go back. There's something to be said for places that have been around forever that locals frequent. The only thing I would say is that it was kinda smokey from the grills. Would be nice if they had better ventilation for cooking smoke. Don't wear your good clothes cuz you'll smell like a diner! Lol
