1 Day Garage Coatings did a fantastic job on my garage! My family and I are so thrilled with the outcome. The service was fast and the staff is very detail-oriented, skillful, and thorough. Their customer service is exceptional. My husband and I had A LOT of questions and everything was answered in a timely manner. The whole process went smoothly from the quote to scheduling and completion. We're so impressed! I highly recommend!

1 Day Garage Coatings provides exceptional service from start to finish. Andrea is readily available to provide information, schedule appointment time, and reassure customers of the quality of work offered. The coating was applied to my garage as the final touch to a renovated garage space. It definitely makes it pop and would highly recommend 1 Day Garage for these projects! Great quality and all done in 1 Day. Love it!

Desert Tan - It glows!

What a great job Andrea and her team did in my garage! It is now "liveable" place! Another thing I really liked work with them was the flawless communication before & during the job exectution. All my questions were prompt answered and I felt hire them was by far a right decision! Thank you Andrea and team!

I am very pleased with the finished job!!! This is exactly what I imagined my garage floor looks like. I am currently in another state (in the process of moving to TX). Being out of state, I am a little sceptical at first. But, thanks to Andrea, with great communication throughout the process, everything works out beautifully. Andrea was kind, professional and so easy to work with, I would gladly refer 1Day garage Coatings to my neighbors, friends and family members. Oh, have I mentioned the incredible cost.. their price is the lowest you can find anywhere.

From top to bottom, these guys are amazing…read more I'd received a pretty obnoxious quote for a covered patio and kitchen so did a little bit of price shopping. Of the 6 quotes I got, Jacob at Your Texas Patio blew them all away (he beat the obnoxious one by nearly $50,000 for basically the exact same project). I generally don't go for the cheapest option, but after the initial conversations he had me convinced that he knew what he was doing. So, I dove right in. As soon as they had the go ahead, work was underway. Angel led the way on the construction end and was out there every day (often including the weekends) doing everything from tearing out the side of the house to connect the structure, putting down posts, framing the roof, painting, etc. A real construction stud. In no time the project was complete and I'm extremely happy with the finished project (which beat our target date by about 2 weeks). Sure, there were some snags along the way. I had some plumbing issues that needed to be addressed (1960s house with original sewage lines), a sprinkler than was inadvertently damaged and the need to run a gas line from the other side of the house. Jacob fixed anything that needed to be fixed immediately, and if there was something outside the scope of the project he had someone out there for me to consult with on the same day (I couldn't even get my longtime plumber or audio guys out within two weeks). If I had a tweak to design or a minor addition, it was done. If I had questions on the project at 11pm after a few whiskeys or on a weekend at 7am on my way to a soccer game, it was answered. Sure, he looks like a kid, but he knows what he's doing. I'll be using them on my next projects and you probably should, too.

The meeting went well and the person that showed up at my house was nice and polite. The problem was that I felt as if I had to chase the person in order to get my bid. They stated that they had to go out of town and I would get the bid when they returned. So I received the bid 7 days after my appointment and 5 days after all the other bids. The price of the concrete was a fair price but I decided to go with another company because of the time frame I needed. Perhaps next project I can use this company.

They showed up on time, completed the job in a timely manner and did a fabulous job. I am beyond pleased with the project manager Darine and am happy to recommend Home Masters to my family and friends with complete confidence that they will do a job as well done. Excellent in fact.

Long Post I want to share my personal experience with Home…read moreMasters. I hired them to remove carpet and stain my concrete floors. Their presentation was impressive, and Saad, in particular, was professional and won my confidence. From the start, I believed they would deliver a fantastic job. I already own another home with stained concrete floors, and those are absolutely stunning -- so my expectations were high. Unfortunately, over the next week and a half, Home Masters destroyed my dream of having beautiful stained concrete floors. What should have been an exciting transformation turned into one of the most stressful experiences I've had as a homeowner. Instead of joy, I was left agonizing over what to do next. Could I live with the floors as they were? My heart cried inside every time I looked at them. I was unable to sleep and anxiety and depression pressed in. I had just paid over $7,000, and the results were nowhere near what I had envisioned. Major issues with the project 1) The finish of the floors was not smooth. The floors felt like sandpaper. 2) The color was inconsistent throughout the house. Each room was entirely different. There were large areas in which it looked like someone accidentally "poured out" too much paint and just left it there. As a result, there were random isolated patches of dark brown/black. 3) Home Masters did not have adequate resources (human capital) to get the job done. They made a commitment that they could not fulfill. Home Masters was not able to identify subcontractors who were experts in the field to stain concrete floors. For example, one contractor showed up and started painting the floor with a paint brush. 3) The project was poorly managed and there was little to no communication with me or with the subcontractors. Crews were sometimes late, left early, and left without letting me know they were gone or what time they would return. They just walked off! 4) The project manager, George, frequently said that he was coming to look at the work but did not show up until the end of the project. However, I found the greatest offense was how the project manager talked very negatively about other employees and subcontractors. And, the crew reciprocated with their frustration with George's lack of communication with them. George spoke negatively about Saad and his lack of knowledge regarding how to sale. That was one of the first statements that came out of his mouth-I was shocked! George stated that Saad's father, the owner, was rarely pleased with Saad and considered him a common "problem."George inferred that he and Saad's father did not trust Saad's ability to properly create a quote. He was not shy about expressing how he felt about Saad's proposal (bid) for the job. However from my viewpoint, Saad was committed, authentic, and the only positive exchange I experienced. So, to me George came in as the "handler." George's intent to get more money was obvious as he tried to up-sale the contract with unrealistic costs. All of this was unsettling and totally unprofessional. Now with more context, it is no surprise that Home Masters failed to deliver a high quality product. Unfortunately, I had trusted their polished presentation and believed their promises. The lack of communication from the project manager and the lack of skill and knowledge of the subcontractors left me with high levels of stress and anxiety. I lost sleep and anguished over what to do. The work was so bad. How could I live with this? Crying, praying, and looking for a course to take. I had to hire another contractor to redo the job! I called George after sending him multiple photos of the finished product. I expressed how deeply I felt about the quality of the work. I asked for a refund. His response was, "That is not something I can offer you." I asked for a partial refund. His response was, "That is not something he could offer." George did offer to come to my home and "assess the work" and talk with me about solutions. However, at this point, I no longer had confidence in the company and its ability to properly stain concrete floors. Consequently, it would be impossible to trust another crew from Home Masters to do any more damage. Bottom Line: If you are considering stained concrete floors, please do your research carefully. I can never recommend Home Masters! Don't let a smooth presentation blind you to the importance of proven results, accountability, and transparency. My experience with Home Masters was a costly lesson, and I hope others can avoid the same disappointment.

Honesty, Integrity, Professionalism…read more This was my experience with Groundworks Foundation Consultation. Beau Roper arrived at our property on time, introduced himself politely, and gave us a quick overview of what to expect -- how long things would take and when we'd get the report back. We walked the property together so I could point out any issues and he could ask questions. He then got to work, explaining that the inspection would take about an hour to an hour and a half since he needed to be thorough and photograph everything on the property. We ran some errands and came back just as he was finishing up. He walked us through everything he'd done and made sure my wife felt comfortable with the findings before leaving the property clean and orderly. Moving forward, Groundworks kept us updated on the status of the report and what to expect next. Everything arrived exactly on time. I can't thank them enough -- this was an exceptional experience compared to other contractors I've dealt with. Groundworks provided a very thorough report, complete with the licensed engineer's information, which made a real difference. Quick note for anyone in Texas: there's no state license or requirement to be a foundation contractor here -- all you need is a shovel. It's a pretty wide-open, unregulated space. That's what made Groundworks' transparency stand out even more. As it turned out, our house didn't need any foundation work, so we don't know firsthand how they'd handle an actual repair. But if we ever do need one, it'll be with Groundworks -- because of how Beau Roper handled everything, start to finish.

The representative from Leveled Concrete said it was likely soil settlement and warranty claim would not be approved. Although they supposedly warrant their work for several years, I wonder whether they actually will honor the warranty.

He proceeded to do the work and was very diligent about the job. After installation the new flooring looked fine except adjacent to the master bath shower where the grouting and sealing was obviously not correctly done. Repairs attempted by the firm have been insufficient and poorly done. We continue to have water leaking out of the shower onto the new floor at the shower door. The door sweep was damaged during the installation and the firm has refused to make repairs to keep the water from leaking and going under a transition they installed where we must presume mold will begin to grow. Their reason for not repairing it is "we didn't work on the shower". Their 100% lifetime warranty is nothing but writing on paper. Stay away from them!!
