Yelp led me to this buffet , & i followed. This buffet does seem to be on the cozy side compared to most AYCE Establishments in the Southbay, it is narrow & long though. I came on a weekday during lunch time & it was packed, next time ill come before lunch hour traffic . The food...was surprisingly good. They had a nice selection & it dint all taste the same like other buffets. The sushi bar was very small but it was OK. Some of my favs: Orange chicken (crispy &not too salty) Stuffed Mushrooms Duck Coconut chicken Oysters Shrimp The selection is good & the price is better. Decided to try this buffet because we had a coupon. This is probably the worst one in the area. Smaller, less selection, food not even that good for buffet standards. The most disappointing thing was the crab legs. They were really salty, but what made it worse was that you literally had to wait in line for them. I asked the woman bringing out the food if there were any crab legs coming out. She gave me a look like it was a stupid question and said 10 minutes. Well, 15 minutes later she brought out a small pan of them. There was a couple people hovering around waiting for them. There were all gone in a matter of seconds. My wife stood there for 10-15 minutes until the next batch came out. It was ridiculous. The only reason that they did not get a 1 star is because they had good fried shrimp. That was about the only thing worth eating. If you want a Chinese buffet, skip this one. There are many better ones in the area. read more

WISH i cold give this place a negative 10! I've been here a few times with friends which was not my pick. Not as good as it use to be. We dined in yesterday 8/19/16, and OMG, this place is extremely warm! There is NO A/C at all! Food seems a bit over cooked. Plus the table behind use had a vent right above that had water dripping, talk about disgusting! Yet you could not feel any coolness inside. Workers faces are red probably from the warmth inside. I used to love this place... its gone down hill pretty steadily over the past 5 years and now, after trying it out again last week with my kids, the only reason I can justify the 2 stars I'm giving it is because it's cheap and my kids really like it .. it needs a deep cleaning and a light renovation ... I'd be worried to see what the kitchen looks like based on the way it looks in the dining room.. I dunno -- this place is just so sketchy looking from the outside -- and run down on the inside -- in taints my ability to rate this place's food offerings. It's dirt cheap and they have at least 30-40 varieties of food, plus a variety of desert pastries. It's very much Americanized Chinese food and some random non-Chinese offerings -- and tolerable as such. Good helpings of fried foods, ribs, even fried plantains. Lots of families lunching here, with kids and all. So it's clearly popular. However, some of the basics like ventilation, the old, dinghy-ness and the thick smell of fried foods and wreaking of seafood and oil after leaving the restaurant -- just kind of kills the appetite for me.... This place is always packed at lunch and so happens to be one of the most popular lunch buffet joints amongst my colleagues at work. We're in the El Segundo area. We get coupons in our company mailer for like $6 buffets! Nice. I've come here many many times and I know the food is good. They've got sushi but it sucks. They've got lots of fresh items like nuts, etc.. They have some good mushroom shrimp and some small variety. Food is always coming anew here during lunch because it is packed with people. I really like this buffet! I was introduced by a friend. I usually come here during lunch time, weekday. As you walk in, you are right away seated. I've come here several times now and the one thing I've noticed is how every single food server are alike, meaning very quiet, reserved, almost shy. They're friendly though. It's delicious, fresh food is always being broughten in. I always start with a fresh salad, yum and some potato salad. They have a good variety of your typical chinese food and some suuushhhii. I always end it with their piece of coffee cake, I believe it is and with a spoon of vanilla pudding. I won't stop coming here, they're good and affordable. read more

Their food's solid. In my opinion they have the best mussels and salmon for buffets. The honey glazed shrimp is very good too. I don't know why they have purple fried chicken lol. I give this place only one star just for the simple fact that they overcharged me and my boyfriend filthy our first time ever eating there. I love their shrimp fried rice. I've been coming here since I moved to the Torrance area in 2003. The shrimp is always fresh and the vegetables and fresh too. It's hard to find a excellent freshly prepared dish. The customer service is great to. I like that some of the staff even remember me all these years. While having dinner last night, I saw one of their cooks spitting on the drain next to the second food warmer, he then he steps on his spit as to erasing it. To make matters worst, the cook blows his nose on his hand, wipes it on his pant leg and goes into the kitchen. A few minutes later, the same cook comes out holding a bowl of crab legs without any gloves and puts them on the warmer. How disgusting is that. No wonder we are getting these weird diseases.
