Each session is 1h50min, the teachers take notes of what you learned for your session and also assign homework（you better do it）. I have studied for 3 months and improved 100+ on my SAT practice test（the results are vary）. The fee is relatively expensive but it's a good place to study and you really need to work hard.

My friend, who does not read or write in English, signed up her son in July of 2017. The son was not happy with the tutoring service and the mother withdrew him in in May of 2018. The sign up and termination were done in person. The mother paid for 12 months in advance and did not ask for a refund for the remaining two months on the contract. The woman at this office had the mother sign for ongoing payments even though the mother only wanted 12 months of service which she paid for in advance. When the mother terminated the services the same person failed to record the termination and three months after terminating Cornerstone Academic began charging the mother's credit card for $139 each month. Now they refuse to refund any of the money.

I requested a physical workbook due to my eyesight and was told to be at the Duluth office to pick it up on Monday by 4:00 (they are not open on weekends) on the day of the class (1/12/26). I left work early and arrived by 4:00 only to find they were closed. I was told the office manager left early and I had to view the workbook electronically. That was just the first red flag. I realized early in the class that the instructor did not seem to like me by his responses to my answers to some of his questions. I was trying to show that I was present and participating, but he was condescending and he belittled/berated me if he disagreed with my responses. By the last day, he questioned in class if the children that I work with even like me (the classes are recorded). This was personally not a positive experience for me. I would not recommend. Finally, the communication appears to be primarily via text messages, and the beginning of the thread seems to be automated (at least over the weekend) since I asked questions that were never answered and the responses were generic. It asked if wanted to participate in another program, but when I asked what it was, I didn't receive an answer. If you text them with issues during the week, an actual person will respond, it just takes a while.

As if that wasn't annoying enough, the next day I discovered three fraudulent charges to my credit card from three different dining establishments, two in California and one in Missouri.
