My radon system fan seized up so I contacted Environmental Works to take a look at it. They…read morepromptly scheduled a visit to inspect and repair the system. The tech who arrived on time noted that the system was probably still under warranty (I'm a new owner of the house and it was installed by the previous owner). He encouraged me to contact the installer and they are replacing it for me under warranty. I really appreciate the honesty and customer service from Sol. Will definitely contact them for any future issues.

These people are grifters. My real estate agent recommended them to decommission the cesspit that…read morewas found in my yard by the sewer inspection. They sent a bid for $5100. Painful, but they buyer wants it done before closing. Then I was told that I had to pay $250 for them to come out and locate it, even though it had already been located. This is in addition to the estimate. So they send this 20-something kid out. He spends all of 15 minutes on my property, most of which is locating the oil tank that we explicitly told him had already been decommissioned. He told me he saw no reason that the workers would have to damage my patio, which I paid $12000 to have professionally installed. Project day arrives. They send super young dudes out to my house with a digger. I doubt they were old enough to buy beer. I asked how they protect the ground from the machine. They must have misunderstood because they told me they put down plywood. Nope. They drove it through my neighbor's yard and my yard after heavy rains leaving deep tracks, then they dug a foot into my patio. When they uncovered the cesspit it was already 3/4 full. So here's me thinking surely my bill will be lower, right? There was a quote for materials and labor. Less materials were needed to fill the hole. Less labor. Nope. Bill arrives for $5100. They also say they will put down grass seed, and that never happened either. So they tore up my yard and my neighbor's yard, damaged my patio, even managed to break one of the pavers, and didn't even put grass seed down. Avoid this company. Greedy, unprofessional, sent unsupervised kids to do the work, don't do what they say they will do, and they do not care how they treat your property.

Each step of the process was clearly outlined, and all questions I had were answered. Now that we have our home back, and we are living with the results of their work, I would not hesitate to recommend Ahmed and his crew.

What a nightmare. In buying a home, the inspection revealed high radon levels. A radon mitigation…read moresystem was written into the offer, with the seller covering the cost. I don't know who recommended Alpha, but I sure wish that they hadn't. The installer came out, saying there was only one place the system could go, which was outside a bedroom. He installed without hooking up the electrical, which has said he wasn't qualified to do. That meant that we had to engage an electrician, the charge falling to us, something that the sales offer didn't cover, an unexpected extra expense. When the system was switched on, the noise was excessive. Not just noise, but the vibration in the house. It was kind of like trying to sleep in the same room with a really bad 1970s refrigerator about to die. The only person from Alpha who came back to check on the system was the radon level test person, who said that he knew nothing about dealing with noise issue. I spoke with Arial on the phone, whose only response was: the fan is the quietest in the industry and, the system was installed in the only place possible on the house. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, he said he would look into it and call back. He never did. Doing my own online exploration, I found that possibilities include a defective fan motor, changing where the system was strapped to the house, adding padding between the strapping and the house, and/or adding sound dampening inside the system. None of these options were even suggested by Alpha. Service after the sale from Alpha was abysmal. I feel like they took the money and ran.

Adam Jones was out point of contact and he was great. He responded to all our concerns, although we did not have but one or two. He went above and beyond in responding to our calls. Every employee that came to our home was wonderful. They completed the work on budget with no surprises. We will recommend them to anyone that needs what they offer.

I was put in touch with Alex, who explained everything I could expect start to finish including best-case through worst case scenarios. He was very thorough and didn't sugar-coat the possible expenses. With my eyes wide open I greenlit the work and never regretted it. As it turned out, contamination was detected but not so bad that the tank and soil had to be removed. It took a total of four or five visits of two people each (except the last visit which required but one person to fill the tank in with an inert material and cover it with dirt.) Hard to see the area was ever disturbed. It's important to note that everyone that came out was professional, got right to work, stayed working, and gave me no sense of attitude. I regret not capturing their names as they were all great. Of equal importance is that Alex was also professional, knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and kept me in the loop step by step. Literally. That said, there were no deficits throughout from service to execution and I can HIGHLY recommend Soil Solutions for this type of work. Based on my experience, you just can't go wrong.
