Rapid came out claimed they were submitting samples to GAF for warrnaty replacemnt .April 2026 they patched bad areas and claimed GAF found no quality issues and closed case (Initial case took 6 months start to finish) . Aug 2026 more leaks 11 across entire roof .waited 13 days for rapid to respond they made repairs that DID NOT address leaks . I Called GAF (Shingle Manufacturer ) and found out they NEVER Submitted samples !( can you say FRAUD) In addition Rapid Roof not GAF closed my case on April 13 2026 claiming it was no longer needed because they had REPLACED MY ROOF ! This was a total lie .Stay away from these people they are sugary sweet on the phone and in person but when truly needed they are never around and NEVER return calls !Bill Beaty the original owner has passed and the new owners are running this business into the ground ! Beware!!!!At present there are over 2 dozen problem areas !!

Better yet have an attorney look at the contract. I was negligent and naive and deeply regret it. Rock Solid owns you once you sign the contract and the 48 hours cancellation option passes. Fact - if you want to terminate the contract, whether they have started the job or not, you will be required to pay one third of the contract price. They will also want you to sign a non-disclosure so that you will not be able to say anything disparaging about their company. Luckily I was able to get this clause voided. How many others have been silenced. Thinking of taking legal action, you agree to pay all of their legal fees when you sign the contract. At $500.00 an hour and up, even if you win, you will lose financially. There is a list of excuses for not doing the job in a timely manner, and they are not afraid to use them. There are a multitude of excuses on the back of the contract for not doing the work and they used many of them on my job. Our contract did not show a completion date, which means they can string you out indefinitely and you have no recourse. I paid my one third termination fee and went with another contractor. Buyer Beware.

Then there was Travis, our Project Manager, who was outstanding throughout the entire process. The journey and process to get to agreement, then completion, painful too often. And completion of details difficult. Thus a C+, B- rating. I wish that I had all good things to say and writing this critique was unnecessary. Some of several aggravations. The roof was completed in a day by many Mexican immigrants. Project included installing roof vents. The vent tubes were not attached at the fans -- Despite assurances from the supervisor that it was definitely done. NO THEY WERE NOT. Thus required request and debate with the company for follow-up. Their service man came and said he completed. NO THEY WERE NOT. A year later, condensation formed on the ceiling. Requiring repeat call, visit. We received assurances that the third time they were now properly connected. This is the most basic of very important work. I do not understand. Not difficult to do - for someone with reasonable skills and honest effort. The siding took 3 months. The workers tried to complete a lot of work on the final day. They left the porch filthy and muddy. Final Hardie plank trim that was not properly painted by Hardie. Not done by McGlinch. Requiring me to paint. They did not properly reinstall flood lights. The contract agreement required increasing soffit ventilation. Despite following up 5 times, to my verification, completion unverified. Disappointing. It can be a challenging world. Our hope was a fourth generation company would have made things far easier and that we were in good hands, we could have relied on them and they were looking out for us. Their own quality assurance. Is that too much to ask.

If I'd known how easy it was, I would have done it earlier. We got 4 bids, from 37,000 to 12,000. We learned a lot from the various reps. ASR was the only one that could answer all our questions-though we only learned the questions by talking to a bunch of people. My property was actually cleaner when they left. The house feels so tight now, looks great. One thing they don't tell you, it is LOUD, especially in a ranch.

Had a roof installed by ASR approximately 13 years ago under my father's name. He passed away…read morethree years after the installation. I recently contacted ASR to request copies of the original contract and warranty. I was told that neither document was available because of a software system change. The only record I received was a receipt showing the installation date and amount paid, and even the last name on that receipt was spelled incorrectly. The lack of the original contract and warranty makes it difficult to verify what work was performed, what materials or terms were included, and what responsibility ASR accepted for the installation. Providing only an incomplete receipt was not an adequate substitute for the original documentation. During the same conversation, the representative told me that the warranty had to be transferred within one year of my father's death. However, I had no way of knowing that ASR had installed the roof until recently, after contacting numerous roofing companies in an effort to identify who had performed the work. I also contacted the city and was told that there is no roofing permit on file for my address. I understand that permit records can depend on the age and circumstances of the work, but the absence of any permit record adds to my concerns about the documentation and history of the installation. The lady representative stated that she had sent the receipt to my home. After waiting approximately three weeks without receiving it, I called back to follow up. I spoke with another employee to determine whether there might be additional information on file and to ask whether my name could be added to my deceased father or have the existing records transferred to me. Rather than assisting with that request, the original lady representative (3 months on the job) was on the phone line with the current representative (3 way call) and accused me of "going behind my back" by speaking with another employee. Her response was unnecessarily hostile, rude and unprofessional and made a reasonable attempt to resolve the matter feel like a personal confrontation on her. I was left feeling dismissed rather than helped. I understand that records can be affected by software changes and that warranties may have specific transfer requirements. However, the missing contract and warranty, the incorrect information on the only receipt provided, the unclear warranty/transfer process, the lack of a permit record, and the poor customer service together left me extremely disappointed. I expected a company that installed such an important part of my home to maintain accurate records and respond to legitimate customer concerns professionally. Based on this experience, I would be very hesitant to recommend American Standard Roofing.

Just got the whole house (13) windows, a bay window, a bow window and four sliding doors replaced…read morethis week by Thermal Shield. Everyone was great to work with from Jeff, salesman, Amy & Denise, office, and Matt & Tim who installed the windows. They also replaced windows in our previous home and was pleased with the work done so went with them even though they were just slightly more than some of the other quotes. I really appreciated Amy keeping me updated with the delay due to covid-19 and always returning my calls. Matt & Tim I wish I could give them 10 stars. They were outstanding and a great team. Amazing work with the windows along with caulking, insulation and clean up. We had a bow and a bay window, so they had to do extra work around the windows and they look fantastic. Our old windows were Pella from 1987 and there is a huge difference with the look, sound and looking forward to seeing some energy savings, especially during winter.

I was requesting my money back. He refused and not answering on my messages. So don't trust that company at all. They are not keeping their promises. And just simply dishonest people.
