5 Stars! it really is as easy as point and stuff disappears! Easy to set up service, very quick response, crew was fantastic! We had a full house clean out and couldn't be happier with the service from Manny, Coleton, Jace And Jamie. Great team and they worked hard and courteously, left everything very clean Highly recommended! priced reasonably, saved my back read more

If I could give a negative number I would. I contacted 1 (800) GOT JUNK on a Monday morning for the removal of some furniture and trash in my cellar. They gave me a "promise window" of 10-12:00 that day. Around 11:15 they informed me that they would be arriving near the end of the window. Ok, fine. When the closing of the window approached, the driver called to say he would likely arrive a half-hour late. Unfortunately I could not dedicate more time to waiting so I rescheduled for Tuesday morning from 8:00-10:00. This time they simply didn't arrive; no texts or calls to notify me of the change. When I called them to inquire, I was told that they accidentally scheduled me for 10-12:00. Ok, frustrating. I asked about a possible reduction in cost since they had now wasted 4 hours for me. I was told they would "look into it." I then received a phone call from a driver who was over an hour away (an ETA AFTER noon). Surprise, surprise, he no-showed even though I waited around until 12:10. They called me back after 1:00 to discuss getting another team out to pick up my stuff and at this point offered me a small discount for what they termed a "miscommunication." But GOT JUNK had already WASTED enough of my time, so I decided to move on. So should you. read more

These guys had to climb 3 flights is stairs to reach the junk. They were quick and efficient. The price was extremely reasonable.

We had to dispose of an upright piano prior to a move, and I called around to 4 local junk companies for estimates, including Got Junk. The other 3 quoted me in the 500 dollar range, understanding that it might change a bit depending on the labor it would take to get it out. Given that it was on the first floor right in front of an exit and on wheels, I wasn't that worried. When I spoke to the Got Junk woman, she did inform me that they didn't give official estimates on the phone. I told her I understood and, since we were on a time crunch, asked if she could give me a ballpark for what it generally cost for people to get rid of an upright piano? She said $450. Based on that, I booked them, recognizing it to be on the low end of the range the other companies had quoted. I figured that even if it went up $100, we'd still be in the right range. When the people arrived for our appointment, the person saw the "for sale" sign in front of our house and the first thing he asked was when we were moving. Then he looked at the piano and said "Oh, a big boy, huh?" Given that it's just a normal sized upright piano and not a baby grand, I knew we were in trouble. After looking at it for a minute, he started pointing at pictures on his clipboard, saying that it would be $650 for the base cost, plus X dollars for space on the truck, plus X dollars for an additional fee, and the whole thing came to $1,100!! We declined, voicing our displeasure in what felt like a bait and switch, and they went back out to their trucks. A few minutes later, the manager calls and says that he heard it was a "little high" for us. After pointing out it was more than twice the price, he said the woman shouldn't have given us a quote. I told them that is for them to figure out, not us. Plus, if the other junk companies were quoting $500, what possible reason could there be to charge over 1,000? He then said that the lowest they could do is $600-$650. While this sounded better, given that they dropped the price by almost half, it made me suspect (even more) that they were trying to take advantage. In the meantime, my husband was on the phone with a scrap metal collector who took it for $280. So we said no. Obviously, we didn't have the easy experience they claim in the commercials. It's not as simple as you point and they take. There is a lot of haggling involved. read more

I have always used Got Junk. Have always been satisfied the the pricing and the workers are always friendly and go above and beyond to help. Unfortunately I leaarned after they assessed the cost that 1/4 truck load of just empty cardboard boxes , an area rug and couple of garbage bags were going to cost me $448! Of course vy then after you've gotten everything out and ready you go through with it! New management I was told. Well they just lost a long zime customer! read more

1-800-GOT-JUNK? Worcester - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me - Hopkinton, Massachusetts

See all

It started with a hot tub removal when upon the site inspection he pointed out that for and additional $420 we could fill the remainder of the truck with whatever we wanted . I was going to fill a 20 yard dumpster myself but couldn't pass up the offer . I couldn't be happier ! The two fellows that arrived to remove everything were prompt, cheerful, efficient, careful and genuinely nice . I highly recommend Got Junk ! read more

David the manager is a wonderful man. He helped me through a problem I was having and he made me feel at ease.

Wonderful service! I called and they not only came on the same day, but were very polite, efficient and professional!

Way too expensive! They arrived in a small truck that was partially full from the last haul. Charged 500.00 for 4 items. I could've packed the truck better and gotten charged less. read more

My wife and I just used their services for a basement clean out plus some construction materials that contractors left. Mike and Jaydon showed up, very courteous and professional from the get go. Price was very reasonable, and they removed all our debris quickly and with no damage or debris left. Outstanding service will definitely be using again! read more

Excellent customer service, kept me in the loop on when they were arriving to pick everything up. However, they charged me over $400 for what took them less than 10 minutes to load on their truck. And while I appreciate that I got rid of a bunch of random stuff, I felt very let down by the steep price, (which they tell you on the spot). read more

Evil and overpriced. They took advantage of us knowing that we were in a rush and had few other options for getting rid of our stuff quickly before a big move. We get annoyed everytime we see one of their dumb trucks parked as a form of advertising. read more

1-800-GOT-JUNK Boston West team accommodated all my needs. TImely, convenient, impeccable service with well trained young people. I will be calling them again on the second phase of my basement and shed cleanout. read more

i made a appt to remove a full size couch and not only did Nick and Jamie arrive on time but were super nice and efficient , i could not be any more happy and relieved to get rid of that couch . it took maybe 10 minutes for them to get it down my curvy steps and it was icy out and the pavement was slippery , they both did a great job . i would highly recommend 1-800 got junk to anyone and everyone. and completley worth the price . read more

They did exactly as advertised. We pointed, they picked it up and put in in their truck. Not cheap, but when you are moving and a busy people, worth the price. Guys were professional and polite. read more

I could not recommend the Boston West team highly enough. I asked them to come for a "few items" and ended up on a mission to clean out the whole house - which they did in a few hours without complaint. First of all, I called them with 12 hours notice to book on Labor Day weekend. They accommodated my schedule, and then when they saw I had much more to go than I had described, called additional trucks to stop by for assistance. The crew was hard working, organized, and professional. I really couldn't have done it without them. Not only that, they gave me peace of mind knowing that 1800 Got Junk recycles and donates furniture clothing etc. What a team! Thank you read more

These guys are definitely the best in the business. They were easy to work with and schedule our "junk" pick-up to fit our time demands. It was great to discover we still had a garage...suppose we're just going to fill it up again over the next few years...and guess who we're going to call to help us out then? You got it! read more

They were very easy to work with. Helped me get rid of computer monitors, which apparently, nobody wants anymore.

Guys were terrific. Courteous, professional and availability was amazing. Thank you!

Courteous and professional service. Efficient and friendly. Completely pleased with service. Would recommend when in a bind and need to have junk removed quickly. read more

I had 2 positive encounters with them last year, so I decided to try them again. This time the guys refused to do the work because the house was too stuffy. The thermostat was set at 65. Turns out they moved one of the items and saw some dried cat throw up and decided to not do the job. Last year they cleaned out the garage and didn't flinch when they found a dead mouse. They obviously are hiring a different type of people. read more

Ok I see all the positive reviews. And 1 of the guys was awesome. But 1 of the guys spent 95 percent of the time talking about - with specific detail - other jobs he worked on - again SPECIFIC customer details - and what they had picked up there. Yes there were hoarders, porn and dildos. Yes indeed - very loudly me and my neighbors heard about a 70 year old woman who had dildos. And they pack the truck so that it fills up quickly. Perhaps other people only used this type of service once and don't realize it. I do a lot of work where my people have to fit a lot into a truck - and I know that what they collected could have fit in 1/2 that truck if it had been properly stacked. AND even then they left all the loose type junk that would have fit and it still cost $503. Never use again - do not recommend. read more

Devon and Billy arrived promptly, calling first to tell me when they'd be arriving. They carefully removed some large pieces of furniture through tight spaces and around corners, mindful of not scratching the walls. They packed the truck tightly which helped keep the cost down. Both were quite pleasant and easy to work with and I would highly recommend them. I would definitely use them again the the future. read more

Arrived on time, friendly and courteous movers, reasonable price, last minute scheduling, ability to schedule online, good communication about arrival time. Would definitely use these guys again. Highly recommended. read more

Matt and Tim from 1-800-GOT-JUNK just relieved me of lots and lots of junk. They were so pleasant, so cooperative, and just about the best all around. They were even lovely to my dog! I don't usually gush, trust me, but this company was up front, professional and reasonable. Can't recommend them enough. read more

The two young men arrived right on time and were respectful and personable. They did the job quickly and efficiently. Also, the company is well-run which is evidenced by the phone calls left to confirm the pick-up time, reiteration of the job to be done, and the promise to call when the men are on their way. I was very impressed, and highly recommend them! read more

Given a 2-hr window, from 4-6 PM, and having spoken to the initial team assigned to me 2x, I received a call at 6:15 from a different crew, informing me that the job had been passed to them. And they would make it to my house in 45 min. An hour later they arrive, are less than helpful with the issue of consulting re: the hot tub removal (which I mentioned in my comments when booking, AND spoke to a rep on the phone about). Then when hauling the small amount of stuff we still had, they scraped-up our newly finished (but fully dried) floor in the garage, after having JUST been asked to please be careful. $200.00 later, and we now have to re-do the garage floor. Thanks... NOT SO MUCH! read more

These guys are always on time, efficient, friendly, hard-working and accommodating. They remove everything promptly and clean up the area so it is pristine. I always rely on them for help. read more

This company is a nightmare and they lied. My mom died 2 months ago and I am trying to clean out her yard. The men on the truck were supposed to call me between 10 and noon from my mom's house and give me an estimate. At 12:30 I called them and was told they tried to reach me and that they had been to the "sight". I did not receive any calls on my work phone and had a missed call at 9:10 from some number I did not know on mu cell phone. In any event I asked for a quote after about 10 minutes on hold they came back with a quote and talked about the stuff behind the shed--we do not have a shed. Shady!!!!!!! read more

fter reading a lot of different reviews online and seeing complaints about up front pricing, I was wary about what to expect, but was very happy when the first question I asked was answered without hesitation: how much if I fill up the truck? Right away, I knew the maximum (plus any fees for CRT tvs or monitors) that I would be paying. Easy. Since pricing is by volume, you can ask for pricing at each step; quarter, half, or three-quarters full. Until everything is in the truck, they truly can't tell you how much, but knowing the max and pricing for partials will give a very good idea of what to expect. I'm very, very pleased with the service I received today from the team from Holliston. They were friendly, personable and very accommodating. The guys took everything I initially showed them plus all the other things I found along the way. They even cleaned up the garage floor in the area where the bulk of the junk had been stored for years. I highly recommend this company and would advise anyone I know to use them. Sure, it might be cheaper to get a container and fill it yourself, but having someone do it for you is worth every penny more. read more
