Incredible vibes, decor and ice cream! Going out for ice cream is finally fun again. A whole experience when you step into 1/2sies. From epic merch and instagrammable moments to the cutest half donuts, beautiful cakes and incredible ice cream flavor options with the most creative names. La Quinta really needed another ice cream place, one that draws you in for post dinner family time on the hot summer evenings, date night spots and friend meet ups. And the location is perfect because that shopping center was missing something. I'm so excited to see this place thrive! I had half Melanin Beauty which was a rich chocolate and half Cereal Milk because it gave me warm fuzzies of home. My kiddo had pomegranate ice which they loved! Mine was super creamy. All made in house! It was a full woman led staff when I was there and it is woman owned so get in there and support this new woman led venture!

The place is very trendy and has a cool vibe. We ordered half a dozen of their "donuts," but if I'm being honest, they had more of a muffin consistency rather than a traditional donut texture. Paying $18 for six half donuts felt a bit pricey in my opinion. The staff was sweet and welcoming, which I appreciated. The maple and glazed flavors were my personal favorites, but overall, the texture just was not what I was expecting. I was hoping for more of that classic donut feel. I truly hope this business thrives, but as of now, I do not think this is the donut shop for me.

This place was actually very delicious. You can easily share one with your partner since they are fairly big. A bit pricy but they are very yummy. My husband and I got two 1/2sies and 4 donuts to take home. The employees were really nice and gave us samples of their ice cream to try which was great because I would have went with my usual but instead opted for something else. The place is very photo friendly, bright and colorful. This place satisfied my sweet tooth craving.

Oh man. This place is absolutely fantastic! The donuts and the ice cream are each individually amazing, but combine them? Absolutely mind blowing. The flavors are spot on and to die for! I'll definitely be coming back! I got the southern hospitality ice cream with the Maple bacon donut and I don't regret a single thing.

Their donuts and ice cream is delicious. The service staff is very friendly and keep a warm smile on their face. The vibe is really modern and has a cool bright vibe to it. Cheers. Glazed donut was top tier.

Cute place. Very vibrant and welcoming. The staff was super nice and helpful. You're highly encouraged to sample before buying. Unique flavors, not the place if you want your "normal" flavors. Portions were ok. A little pricey. Roughly $25 for 2 single scoops and 2 half donuts. Definitely a special treat, once in a blue moon type of place.

Walked in around 7 pm w my friends and was not disappointed! The donuts were so fresh and soft! Owner is so nice and welcoming and made sure me and my friends were able to try any ice cream flavors we wanted. Loved the maple bacon and cookie monster! Love the area and inside its so welcoming . Will definitely be back. Such a great experience

What a darling ice cream and donuts shop. The ice cream flavors are unique and the donuts look delicious. They also sell ice cream cakes and pies. The store is immaculate with fresh flowers on every table, A nice addition to the area.

donuts!!

Fun flavors, very nice employees, cute decor! Donut was good, ice cream was alright! couple suggestions: - Jam of the Desert ice cream (yummy) I think has peanuts which should be labeled as it's not in the name. - The line wasn't clearly marked and people were filing in very confused. Pretty chaotic. Would be better if the door was on the other side of the shop but I assume that wasn't possible. They need a big "Line starts here" - Menu is a little confusing? They've got a lot of product in there and very little indication of what you can get. They do have paper menus that helped.

I keep a close watch on this heart of mine I keep my eyes…read morewide open all the time I keep the ends out for the tie that binds Because you're mine, I walk the line... Yes this place is legit. I will walk this line to get something from TKB. 4/5 Service The line can look intimidating but moves rather quickly to order. Getting your food, we'll you have to wait. My party all got their food and ai was just standing there like a little kid waiting with anticipation. 5/5 Food I am just thinking of how warm the sandwich was. Went with the special of the day. I can still savor it, makes my mouth water. The Smoked Pastrami was delicious! Pastrami was tender, the garlic buttered french roll added a nice flavor along with the French fries. 5/5 Ambiance Seating in or outdoors. Lots of space even when it's busy. 5/5 Parking Spots are as available as the chips along the line inside. 6/5 Likelihood to Return I can't wait for work to send me to Indio again so I can try another one and walk the line to order. It was well after the lunch rush but it was pleasantly busy. Employees were friendly and checking on patrons, serving food and tending to empty tables. We had been waiting awhile, so I carried our number in with me and made note of the numbers they were delivering... which were higher numbers than ours, but also very random. I went to the cash register and asked the employee if they called the numbers in order. She answered politely that no they didn't. I then mentioned we were sitting outside and asked if I should wait inside for my order so they wouldn't have trouble finding us. We were not in a hurry and were trying to make it easy on the hardworking employees....and bonus that it was cool inside *At that point, a man who I perceived was a manager or maybe even the owner , turned to me from behind the counter, handed me a bag and said " Here Ma'am , GO!" Then turned back around to what he was doing. What? GO? I don't know what his intent was because I'm not a mind reader, but it felt rude and dismissive. His facial expression was as though he was busy and or annoyed. I was so surprised at his response in such an otherwise pleasant environment. I'm pretty tolerant of grumpy people (you know, sometimes there's a reason) but this just felt really icky -it was our intended destination after a hot drive from Phoenix and it did not sit well with us. We won't be returning. Food =10 Customer service = so disappointing 3

Ordered the New York style hot pastrami on rye with coleslaw and a Dr. Brown's Cream Soda. The pastrami was the highlight. Piled high, tender, and full of that classic deli flavor with just the right amount of richness. The rye bread held everything together well and had a nice bite to it. It's the kind of sandwich you have to take a second to look at before figuring out how to eat it. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp, a good balance to the sandwich, and the cream soda was cold and refreshing. Also ordered a slice of pistachio cake to go. Absolutely delicious. The place has that old school deli feel, busy but in a good way, and full of character. Service was friendly and efficient even with the crowd. Definitely a spot worth stopping at if you're in Palm Desert and want a proper deli sandwich.

Service was excellent. Seated immediately and ordering minutes later. Got extra cream cheese on request and our coffees were diligently refilled. The main attraction was the pastrami sandwich. Totally to my wife's taste, extremely lean and stacked high. She had to take half home. I tried an omelette with corned beef and loved it. The everything bagel was perfectly acceptable, not too "bready." So: service good, pastrami good, and bagel good. Everything good about a deli is covered.

Yummy teas. For the milk teas, they don't have any non-dairy options... I asked and they said they…read moreonly have milk. Sad face. I like their refreshing jasmine green tea 75% sweet. I tried 50% sweet, but this is a full undiluted Jasmine so I need a little extra sweetness to take the bitterness away. Great news that it's not watered down. Hubby and I like the original mochi dog crunchy and chewy with a nice yummy hotdog & half hotdog/half mozzarella inside. Not excited that it's $.75 for a sweet chili sauce... I might bring my own next time...LOL I do like that they now have the instant Ramen option... Haven't used it yet because I can make that at home but it's nice to know I can make it out if needed... When you have a yummy chewy crispy mochinut hotdog, what else do you need?!? They have a great product, but my issues that make it a four star versus a five star are that they are not open on Monday and Tuesday and that's usually when I want to go...boohoo :-( Also, They charge I think $.60 if you use your credit card but they do have options like Cash, Zelle and Venmo that don't charge for paying those ways. All the various little upcharges are slightly bothersome... But the positive side to that is I can choose to not add those things and save some money while still enjoying the basic Mochinut experience... as long as it's not Monday or Tuesday.... I'm assuming that Monday and Tuesday were not busy enough for them and they had to do their best to utilize their staff on the other days and it seems that they chose to be open on the weekends over Monday and Tuesday, which is probably a good business decision... So I'd rather them stick around because they make good decisions for their business, even though they're kinda not available when I want. It's better to have them survive in this hard California business climate. There is nothing like Mochinut, so we can all compromise a bit. So there you go if I didn't have any issues with open days & upcharges, they'd have a five star based on product & service.
