Very hidden entrance - if it wasn't for our friends that had been here before, I definitely cannot find the entrance. I'm not even going to try to describe it here cus it's extremely hidden - no window no outside decor. I had the Earl grey martini, loved it. Can't really say if they are good or not as cocktails really are a personal preference. Drinks price is on the range of 160-230 hkd. A bit expensive to me but for people that enjoy Cocktails, might be worth it.

Boozy Hour

Speakeasy style bar - Use the address listed, but keep going to the next alley and look for a black door with the center door bell (no sign). As you walk down into the bar, it's dark and filled with leather chairs. Happy Hour is M-F (6-8pm) + Sat (7-9pm) with a few cocktails for 98 HKD. My take: Hemingway Daiquiri *rum (3.5-stars, this is one of my go-to drinks at home, so I'm a little more critically...felt like it was missing the addition of lime juice) Take Five *bourbon (4-stars, refreshing drink similar to ) Earl Grey Martini *gin (5-stars, super tasty and easy to drink...hint of earl grey in a gin sour) Hanky Pinky *gin (4-stars, bitter and strong) I read reviews that 001 do take reservations, but when I called and asked in person, it seems like they did not. Overall, a nice place to grab a cocktail or two.

This place has been on my list to visit for several years since Aziz Ansari visited it 5 years ago on a travel show called the Getaway. It is probably the most hard to find speakeasy I have been to other than PDT in NYC or Attaboy in NYC. So have your GPS out and look for the black door in the market. I got in and James the bartender is the same bartender from the show which was awesome!! I ordered the Earl Grey Martini which was just amazing . I could drink a bucket of these happily forever. The midnight Manhattan was also very good with a cherry sweetness in a drink that is usually too spirit heavy for me. The service was beyond excellent and this is the Best bar in Hong Kong I have been to so far.

BEST. CHEESE SANDWICH. EVER. 88HKD. WORTH. CHEESUS.

Fun to find. Thoughtfully creative drinks. All unbelievably sweet. Maybe stop for one on your way to or from somewhere else.

The most impressive Martini ever tried, not easy to find makes it more intriguing for BBF small talk.

Located in the…read moreParekh House, it feels almost like an apartment complex turned lounge, overlooking the vibrant Wyndham and just a stone's throw away from Soho and Lan Kwai Fong. The drinks are solid here, but the casual, comfy vibe is what keeps me coming back. There is a small bar counter, surrounded by plush comfy sofas, and an outdoor terrace. The bartenders and Will the manager are fun and friendly, a nice alternative to the bouncer enforcer venues just a few doors down the street. The couches are comfy enough to fall asleep on, which has probably happened to folks who've had one too many to drink. Happy Hours are only weekdays here from 6pm-9pm, which are ideal primetime drinking hours. Weekends are much busier here, but still quieter than most of the ground level drinking holes on the street. Fancy a drink earlier in the week? Good news is the cocktails are 2-for-1 on Mondays and Tuesdays. I usually grab myself a whisky based drink or one of their less sweet cocktails and chat along the terrace while enjoying the view and good company. There are some days where I'd rather come and relax before / after embarking the pretentious Central scene. This is one of the few safe bets for a quality drink with an equally quality ambience.

I enjoy sharing stories and experiences with each other, kind of guilty though to realize someone has never been to LKF before, haha, hope others enjoyed the night just like me. Well, talking about Bar Six, or should be written as "Bar 6ix", as shown inside, it is nice, delicate and comfortable, which is a lounge designed bar, with two long sofa chairs placed aside as "L" shape, so plenty of space and privacy are provided. There is a smoking area outside in terrace, where you can sit on high chair to enjoy whiskey and cigar. The view is not very attractive but sitting tall outside in concrete jungle is always enjoyable. More than that, Will, the manager and his team are super friendly and cheerful, they recommended different cocktails, came around all the time to make sure the drinks were good, taught the girls magical tricks -burn your finger with fire, haha, which was a really cool lesson before we left with big smiles. Btw, Kevin, we called you to get another drink but you didn't answer, haha, next time maybe!

A must for music lovers in Hong Kong…read more I was able to secure a same-day reservation by shooting them a quick email for my flight from Thailand to Hong Kong took off. By the time I landed, I received a confirmation from the venue as well as a few important details and instructions. At my request, they even sent the information via WhatsApp since I was having a hard time getting it via SMS. The venue was also really responsive on WhatsApp, answering all of my questions very quickly. The place was a little hard to find. My cab dropped me off nearby and a passerby was able to help me find the exact building. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. It's classy, sexy, shrouded in a bit of mystery... something like a speakeasy. The evening's performances were fantastic! The musicians played a range of hits that appealed to a broad audience (which was great because there was a little of everyone in the room that evening). The servers were attentive and kind, and their service had a personalized touch which I really appreciated, especially since I had just landed in the country barely 2 hours prior and didn't know a soul there. The staff really made me feel welcome and helped set the tone for the rest of my visit to Hong Kong. I saw lots of gorgeous cocktails adorning tables around me, but I was there for the prosecco. Glass after glass of ice cold bubbles... And the staff made sure I never had an empty glass. I had an absolutely wonderful time here. I highly recommend this place to any music lovers or cocktail enthusiasts that happen to find themselves in Hong Kong. You will not be disappointed.

Prices are pretty standard if you're comparing it to LA--but definitely on the expensive side for HK. They have a live band, so you'll be thoroughly entertained. So we could barely see anything but we thought it's ok we're just gonna enjoy the drinks and foods. Well it turned out the view already was the best part of the night. We ordered 4 cocktails and only 1 was good. We didn't finish the other 3 because they just tasted horrible. My advice is just get something simple like gin and tonic or coke and rum. Their own signature cocktails were a waste of money. We also ordered fries and fried chicken which were overcooked. They were probably left in the fryer for too long. The wagyu beef slider was actually quite delicious but hey we paid $180 for 1 slider it'd better be good. Overall it was a very disappointing experience. I don't think I would come back again..
