There are only a couple Öfferl locations with a bistro, and this location has one. I had a very simple but excellent breakfast here. I got a cheese sandwich and scrambled eggs; both were delicious. The scrambled eggs tasted like one of the freshest eggs I have ever had. Their portion sizes were modest...I actually wished the scrambled eggs were bigger for me! They also had pastries, but I preferred their savory dishes more. Lastly, I had a great cappuccino here. If everyone could start their day with such a delicious breakfast, there would be world peace.

AMAZING BAKERY!! Must try if you're in Vienna. The pistachio croissant was very sweet, but very delicious nonetheless. Also heard good things from my friends who tried the chocolate croissant & the baguette!

This was my first pastry experience in Vienna and easily my favorite. The bread is really out of this world and the pastries as so well made. There are takeaway options for coffee, which a lot of the locals also used en route to work. Also, you can easily get their coffee beans and some accessories to bring the experience back home. Small space with limited seating -- it really is a grab and go!

My boyfriend and I came to Öfferl on a Sunday at around 12 for breakfast. We were drawn in by the beautiful breads on display as well as delicious smell of baked goods. There is seating indoors but also a few tables available outside to be in the sun and enjoy a view of the street. The service was very good! Our waitress was kind, very patient and offered us a menu in English so we would understand better. We ordered: - Florentine Eggs: this was delicious! Two poached eggs over sourdough filled with some grilled mushrooms and onions in a nice balsamic sauce. It all came over a creamy hollandaise sauce, and was topped with arugula and pickled cabbage... truly a perfect balance of flavors and textures. Felt very healthy and the plating was beautiful - Bakery Breakfast (with ham): my boyfriend got this dish and really liked it. It came with three different bread rolls that were all amazing, as well as some ham, and different cheeses with pickled veggies as well. Very nice portion size. - Sachertorte: amazing! Had a very decadent chocolate cream/ganache on top of this very fluffy, moist, and not too sweet chocolate cake, filled with apricot marmalade. Perfect combination of flavors. 11/10 recommend. It is a Vienna speciality. - Apple-Cinnamon Rose: my boyfriend got this and it was like a lighter cinnamon roll without icing and with apple. Very light, and perfect if you want a little sweet thing that doesn't feel unhealthy! Very nice bread quality. - Latte: the latte art was beautiful and the quality of the latte was to die for. We liked the food so much we came the next morning to get breakfast to go for the airport. We tried their pastrami sandwich which was very filling and felt healthy (had some sourdough, cheese, pastrami, pickles) and another one that had ham, egg (somehow it was perfectly boiled and had a nice golden yolk), cheese, and was in an egg bread roll. Their take out service is really quick and efficient so even if there is a line, it moves very fast. Definitely pay them a visit if you can! Their quality of baked goods is top notch and the place has a cute aesthetic/ ambiance. Will come back again if I ever find myself in Vienna again.

Probably the best capaccino I have gotten in Austria. Espresso was extremely silky and smooth. Cafe has a sit down , eat in area and also takeout. They have fresh sandwiches on their homemade bread and a huge selection of other bread products and tarts. This place gets pretty busy. Open on Sundays and takes cards.

We stopped for lunch: everything was extremely delicious, tasty and fresh. In particular the omelette, the best I have ever tried. And the bread was still hot as it just came out from the oven, a dream! Highly recommended. No need for reservations

Promising to "secure an average of two square meters of biodynamic soil for the next generation" with every Loaf of Bread Öfferl Dampfbäckerei undoubtedly has a vision, their commitment to local Farmers spelled out in literature and embodied by the use of only biodynamic Grain in every item. Described as a "community whose common denominator is respect for nature," the Coffee, Milk and Jam sold on-site all responsibly sourced from Organic farms, guests entering any of Öfferl's locations will quickly be greeted by the smell of Yeast followed by friendly and knowledgeable service. Infrequently in the market for Bread when traveling, though Öfferl's loaves do appear impressive, it was instead five Pastries that were taken elsewhere to enjoy, a Doughnut piped with stewed Apricots springy and light while the Walnusscroissant is a twice-baked beauty with lightly sugared Cream doing little to compromise skilled lamination. Blending classics with modernity, Powidlbuchtl akin to a Parker House Roll stuffed with stewed Prunes, Öfferl throws its name into the mix for Vienna's best Apfelstrudel thanks to myriad textures and natural sweetness while the Bio Sacher Torte reminisces of Souffle at the base of a Chocolate and Apricot Muffin.

Such a great bakery located in the center. Coffee was great, and pastries were plentiful and very tasty. Would recommend as an afternoon stop.

I came across Öfferl.bio on insta and knew I was definitely going to make a stop here when I was in town! An adorable little bakery with the most delicious pastries! I got a wonderful sandwich and cappuccino which was the perfect way to fuel my day going to Schönbrunn and the Wine country! The crustiness on the bread was perfection and enhanced with cheese, meat, and mustard. I also grabbed a cruffin and hazelnut mouse for later which came in handy after showing up to the wine country too early and nothing was open!!! If you like bread and pastries I recommend stopping in!

There was a spread that included with an assortment of an egg, cheese, bread, spreads, meats and fruit. As a typical Viennese breakfast, nothing was lacking! The fruit was seasonably ripe and fresh. The bread...the bread was a great with not too light, not too heavy texture. The cold Chai latte was to die for...so GOOD. I was shaking my head the whole time at how good everything was. It is a bit pricy, but worth the experience.

Everything looks gorgeous and breathtakingly beautiful, BUT the taste is not there. It is overall too sweet. The pistacchio dacquoise has benzaldehyde flavoring which I detest. The cream was real pistachio but was pretty heavy and sweet - didn't sit well with me. The Ribisel-Cremeschnitte was good, tart and sweet, but still, the cream too heavy. The vanilla cake was heavy and sweet. I mean heavy regarding double fat cream, the mouthfeel is light but you feel the fat content afterwards. Breakfast was ok - a slice of bread and brioche with jam (a little off tasting) and spread. Breakfast with coffee and pastry was 20€ which in my mind is too expensive for what it is. I wouldn't complain if the taste is as amazing as the looks. I really had high hopes for this place.
