Cake tree was great, staff was friendly and the drinks top notch. If I'm in the area will definitely drop in again.

Our waiter, tho speaking little English, was amazingly helpful and did a great job! I asked for some combination of grilled meats and left it up to him and wasn't disappointed. The food was tasty and service good. Price was decent for all the food we ordered. We also got falafel and hummus appetizers. We were hungry I guess. Lol

I'm going to go a step further and actually claim it makes the best beyti and pide in Vienna. Regarding home delivery, it usually takes them between 30-45 minutes from moment of ordering to deliver. The delivery guys have always been very nice and friendly. Sometimes they include a pepsi can or two if your order is large and I assume it depends more on how the staff feels that day when giving out the free drinks. :) Either way, the food has always tasted delicious, seems fresh and very authentic in preparation and style. If you live in the area, I give thumbs up for ordering from here.

The building is very elegant and classical, really enjoyed the atmosphere as walking in, we sat down at a corner next to the window and could not wait to try out the coffee and pastries here. We got Cafe Central Kafee and Maria Therasia for coffee and shared one Viennese Apple Strudel. The coffee is so smooth and with the added liquor, the fragrance is amazing!!! No question, this is the BEST Apple strudel I've tasted, crunchy texture for the outside crust and the filling is full of fruity flavors. We spent about a bit more than an hour there and that was the most relaxing, appreciating and beautiful moment among this Europe trip.

Well known for being a beautiful and historic cafe established 1876 frequented by the likes of famous names like Trotsky and Freud, this traditional Viennese coffeehouse and cafe is a popular tourist destination. Having walked by around 7:30pm the prior evening and seeing a line of about 15 people outside, the next morning arriving around 9am the line was about 15 minutes without reservations. Upon entering the inside is beautiful, cavernous domed ceilings, chandeliers and a very classic bistro vibe. Enough seating for probably 150 customers, quite large inside, and about two-thirds full. That's when I realized the line outside was more for show, which at some places I get because staffing might be hard and they want to ramp up the pacing between breakfast and lunch services. In a place like this it seems more like a marketing technique to create hype, which kinda annoyed me--it's not respectful of customers' time. It took a while maybe 10 minutes for a staff member to pass menus, then another 10 minutes for him to come back and check in. What I'll say is he was swift to answer our questions and knew the menu well. In general service felt lacking though, after eating it took quite a long time to get our server's attention again to get the check. For breakfast I was a little surprised by the prices for the food offered, on the high side. While the vegan spreads were very good, from the menu it wasn't clear that it was actually vegan cream cheese that was the base of the spreads. Unfortunately the rest of the food was meh, €14.50 for a small croissant (not especially good), a plain roll, a boiled egg and latte, with a pat of butter and jam. Would I come back? Maybe to try a couple of their baked pastries and dessert, but not for breakfast. For more info: https://cafecentral.wien/en/

I was craving some veggies or greens but also something light so I chose a cucumber, tomato, and onion salad-similar to a Greek, hold the feta-with grilled chicken strips. We had seen entrees come to the other occupied table so we had an idea of the portion sizes served but when ours came it was wow. my salad was a large plate covered with bright chunks of tomato and cukes, with red onion and also some unlisted green peppers. No problem there. Then on top were about a dozen at least thin strips of freshly grilled chicken breast, clearly hand cut from an actual breast before cooking. The dressing was light but with a nice herbaceous note again similar to a typical Greek salad. The chicken was cooked perfectly. I tore this salad down to the plate and it couldn't have been more perfect for what was looking for. We enjoyed our experience here and would return and recommend easily.

The breakfast items we ordered came with pita bread, so we made little sandwiches out of it. SO GOOD! They even had picked red onions on the side. Our meal was supposed to come with orange juice, but we never got it. We also ordered coffee, which comes in a little ass shot cup. Didn't feel like complaining because we're out of towners and didn't want to be nuisance. Would definitely come here again, but this place is a smoking restaurant, and someone next to us was chain smoking
