This bakery started in Singapore and brings along with it the famous pork floss buns from there. If you like your buns spicy, there is the fire version. Without being a nutritionist, I can guarantee that this stuff is terribly unhealthy, if only because it is so delicious. At the time of this post, there is a slight discount if you buy 2 at a go.
I also really like the kaya, which is a spread, kinda like jam, but in a pandan flavour. Bought some for my Western colleagues and they loved it.
I've no idea how the other pastries taste because, to me, BreadTalk = pork floss buns. But there is a wide variety which other customers seem to also buy.
BreadTalk sells drinks at the side, so this is an easy "grab and go" place for a quick bite/ next day breakfast purchase. Just select the pastries you like (using the tray and tongs at the entrance of the shop) and pay at the counter. read more
