I had a craving for bun rieu (tomato crab noodles) and decided to try this Vietnamese restaurant. We were seated promptly, and the restaurant had about five other tables occupied during our visit at 2 pm on a weekday.
We ordered the special pho and bun rieu. The food arrived within 10 minutes, which was reasonable. However, the bun rieu broth was unexpectedly thick, with a texture resembling gravy and a flavor like of ketchup, which is not typical for this dish. Additionally, I couldn't taste any crab, as the flavor was dominated by pork and ketchup. The pho was acceptable but unremarkable.
I's also worth noting that the restaurant only accepts cash or Octopus card which may be inconvenient for some customers. While I'm glad we gave it a try, I don't anticipate returning. read more
