A very pleasant mall located quite a distance from Central. Taking one of the buses there, you will enter the mall from the top level, making your way down to the first if you are heading to Stanley Market. This Mall isn't big, but there are a good number of eating places at this mall. I have been to the small little Waffle shop that is advertised along the pillars and is pretty decent. This mall is certainly a good place to chill out and enjoy some beer while taking in the beautiful view! Owners bring their dogs often at the ground level, pretty relaxing atmosphere, it's certainly a great place to get away from the busy life in town. When the weather turns bad, this would be a perfect place to get away from the rain! Overall I enjoyed my time here!
Shopping and dining in Hong Kong... Our friend, Andrew, parked here for free in the structure because it's close to Stanley Market. He gave us about an hour and a half to wander around... we saw the Promenade and the Pier. There are also a couple of temples along the Promenade. Stanley Plaza has several levels of dining - Starbucks and McDonald's were the easily recognized businesses on the ground level. We eventually used the elevator when we returned to the car because we were exhausted by that time. There were many cute shops. I appreciated the clean restroom on the second level. There was an escalator, but the stairs were closer. This is a convenient Shopping Plaza! read more
A must stop in Hong Kong... Located on the south end of Hong Kong Island which overlooks Stanley Bay is a lovely shopping mall for all as it was the perfect rest stop and is surrounded by so many attractions for all ages to enjoy. If you're in for the search there's Stanley Market which is a place filled with various merchants to bargain with is a fun place to explore something different and along the pier there's the Stanley Murray House, Blake Pier at Stanley and that's just around the mall which we had some time to explore and enjoy but the time was just too short but I did get to enjoy some Starbucks while taking in the water view was just so relaxing and the best part of the stop as this shopaholic enjoyed the mall with lots of outdoor space to enjoy. Thank you to Andrew and Cindy as without them I could never experience these stops and would totally recommend coming here and wished I had more time to shop here and explore the different shops. Thank you! read more

REVIEWER # 7 I fell in love and left my heart in Stanley Plaza! There is SO much to love about Hong Kong: good food, diversity, and the fast pace lifestyle but what I appreciated the most, was the places that many people don't think about coming, such as Stanley Plaza! This place is the perfect place for families, young children and most importantly....it's dog-friendly! After doing my intense research on what I wanted to do while traveling to HK, I definitely discovered Stanley and planned for a whole day there! Think about being on an island, where there is nothing but a big mall and beautiful water all around. I don't know about you, but this is definitely my type of vacation! Stanley is not an easy place to get to. I was staying in Causeway Bay and there are some buses that go from CB to Stanley and also some green vans (The van rides are pretty scary for me as the drivers drive SUPER crazy!!) but it's quick and easy and totally reasonable. Let's not forget ALL the shopping that takes place here! I was totally in shopping paradise when I stepped off the bus. This place knows the try definition of shopping! There are two floors full of shopping and a HUGE Forever 21 store! The escalators around the plaza make it truly easy to get around. Just a couple steps away from all the shopping is the Waterfront! The place I fell in LOVE with! During the day it was raining, but don't think that stopped me from taking all the pictures I could and capturing every moment! Now that I am thinking about it, I may have to add this to my bucket list of places for my future wedding! I would love to take pictures by the Waterfront in my wedding dress! **Okay, let me snap out of my dream** Great place to explore if you're close by. The Stanley Market is also very close and offers an array of restaurants and great views! I would definitely recommend if you are in HK! Must-see touristy spot! read more

Love to go to Stanley Plaza. A great place for families, dads, moms, children and dogs. First, I was very happy and impressed to see a dog-friendly mall in Hong Kong. Your dogs can also receive a free dog gelato here. I love to see happy dogs. They have a good, safe playground for children right outside the mall. Also, with Mc Donald's and Starbucks. They also have a supermarket inside the mall. Shops selling home interior decor, children toys and books, clothing, etc. The mall is right next to the sea and you can enjoy the ocean view and sea breeze on the top level. Across the malls, there are bars and restaurants. Stanley Market is also nearby. Transportation to Stanley is not that convenience from some location in Hong Kong. However, it is very easy to go to Stanley from Causeway Bay. There are buses and green vans going there directly and inexpensive. I enjoyed a lot there. Great place to visit for tourists and also local people : ) !! read more

Stanley Plaza is a fun place to go. Whether it is for the food, the seaside, to shop even, or just to chill on a random day, every time I come here, I automatically feel relaxed. Sometimes I come here after doing the twin peaks hike and stop by for lunch - I know, it totally defeats the purpose of hiking in the first place. When I come here for lunch after a hike on a weekend, it is usually pretty packed with locals, tourists, street performers, children and dogs. I love how dogs are so welcomed here, it makes everything so much nicer. On a nice day, you can just sit by the seaside and people watch. I can sit like that for a couple hours. If and when I get bored of people watching, I can go indoors to the shopping mall for a nice stroll. It has a lot of stores there, not like the typical shopping mall where all the brands are completely globalised, they have local shops, they have a massive GOD, and they have really random boutiques. I usually go to GOD, a jewellery store on the second floor and the supermarket. Stanley Plaza has a lot of restaurants too... seriously restaurants galore. I like chilling at one of the restaurants in front of the water sipping on an ice cold beer. Best.Feeling.Ever. Tourists love this place, and I can completely see why. There's a stanley market which will give them the so called "traditional" side of hk, there's the water, which they love, and then there's good food. What's not to love? read more
