This place has been the talk of the summer and for good reason. Ryze Ultimate Trampoline Park is…read moreone of the funnest 'theme parks' I've been to since Hong Kong's Water World. At first, when I was told about it, I thought ok, trampolines, what's new? I learnt that it's not just trampolines... it's an entire hall full of them. Sounds dangerous, it definitely can be but that's all part of the fun, and the whole time I was there (1 hour) I didn't seen any one come remotely close to losing their teeth in someone else's head. The sessions are $150 per hour, which is more than long enough to get dizzy on joy and work up a sweat - it's a good cardio session too! My favourite parts are the basketball rim and the box of no pain. I call it this because you can jump and land any which way you'd like a not get hurt, which led to some major flip competitions, not recommended for cautious. Between flipping and basketballing I'd just jump around and feel the thrill of defying gravity, even if it was temporary. Which leads me to my next point. As soon as you get off the trampolines it's like the world is trying to suck you down into its depths! My body was expecting to spring right up into the air but the concrete beneath me was having none of it. It took some time to adjust to. I'm trying to plan a birthday party there because it's that much fun (plus there are discounts for big groups). I can't wait to go back and I'd suggest it to friends as a date idea, group event... or even go alone if you're not shy about doing that sort of thing. Bouncing = fun.

Lost HK is so far my favourite! And I've tried 1x Freeing, 1x Escape HK, 1x MR Xscape or whatever…read more Most of them were not anything to rave about (Although I may have just been unlucky with Freeing. I will try again tomorrow) I've been to 2x Mong Kok (Lost Den & Aching Time of Pi) and 1x CWB (Level 6) All the rooms have been really fun! The Lost Den was easier and was also the first one I ever did. It was a steady progression to find the clues, not like some of the others I've been, where it was nearly impossible to find the clues. The decor at Lost HK is nice too. There's even mechanical/machinery decor. Some of the other ones I've been to were just props. Lost HK spends a decent amount on their renovation and it shows! I went with colleagues as a team building activity and with friends. I personally think 4 people is best for these games, 6 is usually too many and you have some people standing around because you only get like 3-4 flashlights. The unlimited hints was really helpful. I think we annoyed the workers there heh. Their english was not so good though. So probably better speaking to them in Chinese. They do sell drinks but bring your own if you want. They have lockers for your bag, you're not supposed to bring your phone in. Which may be a good thing, phone-free for 45 minutes, that's a rare occasion these days! *** Tip: 4 people for maximum productivity. Book early and online. I've gotten coupons from groupon/beecrazy before but even without, it's cheap. If this is your first time, I recommend you do an easy one. It's not as easy as you think! Favourites: All 3 rooms I've done were fun. Meh: One of the clues required listening to the head phone but the voice recorded was too muffled to make out what was being said Last words: I think this is a really cool concept for team building too. Companies should pay for these events more often =)

It's also home to the Avenue of Stars and is a popular spot to watch the nightly 8:00 PM Symphony of Lights show. We decided to skip the Symphony of Lights because we had already watched it on YouTube and didn't think it was something we needed to see in person. Instead, we spent our time strolling along the waterfront, both during the day and at night, and we enjoyed it so much more. On our second day in Hong Kong, we walked along the waterfront before taking the Star Ferry to Wan Chai. The harbor views were beautiful during the day, but the nighttime scenery was even more spectacular. The city lights reflecting on the water created an unforgettable view, and I ended up taking tons of photos! We were also happy that our hotel was within walking distance, so we visited the waterfront several times during our trip. Whether you're taking a leisurely walk, enjoying the harbor views, or simply relaxing by the water, the Tsim Sha Tsui Waterfront is definitely a must-see when visiting Hong Kong.

Completely different feel from a gym or big studio like Pure, yet they also have the little touches like shower amenities and providing plastic bags for your sweaty clothes Workout wise, it's definitely not a class for the faint of heart! I do lots of Pilates and Yoga, and I love this amped up version of a pilates reformer class. There's less attention to detail and spinal articulation than Pilates, thus if you have back pain or are not very body aware, you may benefit more from a regular pilates class. My favourite instructors are Steffi, Jenny and Vanessa. Go give Hkore a try!

It was a pleasant sort of day, and the park was a lovely thing to stumble onto. It was expansive and very walkable, with a lot of nice greenery and good people watching. And by people watching, I mean that the park was full of senior citizens getting in workouts--the park was equipped with cute, colorful, low resistance exercise equipment explicitly designed for the elderly. I saw one old lady doing leg presses, another cluster of them hanging out on mechanical stationary bikes. We didn't spend a ton of time at Cherry Street Park, but it seemed like a neat little spot, certainly a boon for locals. I'd love if my grandma had a free outdoor gym near her apartment. Just the thought of her gabbing with her church friends, pedaling very slowly on an exercise bike, makes me wish someone would copy this place in my city.

Hence I joined Pure Yoga in Quarry Bay when I used to work there a few years ago. Later on, I took up another job on the Kowloon side and started coming here to the Peninsula studio. I must say, this has to be my favorite studio out of the six Pure Yoga locations. I'm loving this place even more after they finished the renovations this summer... so I'm giving it another star! Ta-da! If you have been to all of the Pure Yoga studios, you would know that none of the rest could beat this one in terms of the view. Every time when I check in at the entrance, when I get a card saying Studio 6, it's like I win the lottery! Studio 6 has a view of the Victoria Harbour. Imagine you standing there doing a tree pose, you can just look across the harbour and stare right at the top of the Convention Centre trying to balance yourself... how cool is that? What else makes the Peninsula studio so impressive is that they have some great instructors. When you're done with class, you can also sit at the lobby and enjoy the harbor view while you're waiting for a friend! If that's still not enough to persuade you to come here, they even have phone chargers. Leave your phones there to charge while you're in class... and may I say, PLEASE do not bring your phones to class as it is very disturbing. Inhale... exhale... leave your phones behind and relax, Hong Kongers!
