Breakfast in Hong Kong…read more.. On the way to the ferry, my friend and I stopped by this McCafe for a quick snack. We were on our way to dimsum and we just wanted fuel to get ourselves going... The interior is modern and bright. Customers leave their trays and trash on the tables for the staff to clean. The confusion is that the Cafe items are served from the Cafe side while the coffee, orange juice, and regular McDonald's items are served from the McDonald's counter even though we ordered from the Cafe counter. No worries. We figured it out! We shared the Corn & Cheesy Mushroom Toast. It was good enough to fill our tummies for now. On our second visit, we had the local dish, Macaroni soup. I had mine with ham and my friend had hers with sausage. It was plain, simple, and comforting. I want to return for the cute bunny dessert and the Mango drink which is served after 11am from the Cafe side. We'll be back - especially for the air conditioning! Onto more foodie adventures!!!

Super super? I think maybe mediocre mediocre…read more I was ready for a good meal after pulling an all-nighter. I was not prepared for the disappointment to come. Firstly, it took the store 15 minutes to turn on the register. People started cueing up and the cashier just took her sweet time as if she was texting her boy friend on the cash register machine. But surely the food is worth waiting for? In case you kept reading after my opening line (why did you do that?) the food was not super, oh no, it was far from it. It was sorry sorry. So, in conclusion, unless you need to send a message to your boy friend through the cash register it's best to avoid this joint.
