Family gathering, originally wanted to drive out to the country side for a seafood dinner, but had to change location due to seniors request to have a restaurant that is close by.
One of our cousins recommended to try Sky Cuisine so we did.
Food wise: Authentic Cantonese
We ordered mainly food that is suitable for seniors, Steamed Grouper, Tofu with Minced Pork served on a hot plate, Mixed Mushroom & Choi Sum with Fish Puree Tofu, Pan Fried Fresh Prawns and the house special BBQ Pork!
Food was prepared really well, especially the Pan Fried Prawns: fresh and plump they stir fried it in supreme soy sauce which made perfect match with the prawn's natural umami, and the Tofu on Hot Plate, the tofu was still silky smooth, with the savoury minced pork stuffing, was perfectly done and kept piping hot on the hot plate!
Service was average as I noticed that they were actually very busy after we sat down and started our meal, half way into our dinner, the whole place was packed. They actually have 3 levels dedicated to this restaurant in this building But our server still made sure our plates are kept clean by changing them, and filling our tea pot with fresh hot water!
With very limited staffing, it hard for all the table to receive attentive service. I see this trend in most restaurants in this category!!
Of all the dishes I mentioned were pretty generous with their size and all the flavours were all on point! After trying their dinner, I am now tempted to give their Dim Sum lunch a try! read more
