Tucked away in a large shopping center, this dim sum restaurant is actually very large. At around 2pm there were quite a few people dining, we passed by a full restaurant on the way to an empty table in the back. Although a nice environment and look, the dishes were a bit dirty, so in classic dim sum style, we used the hot tea to wash them up a bit. Someone was over shortly and we placed our order and dishes started arriving within a few minutes. We started with the charsui, which is my personal favorite dish, it was very flavorful and sweet, excellent charsui. Next up was flaky charsui buns, which was also good, the buns are more crispy than the normal bun of that size, which is typically very doughy. Up next was a crispy spring roll, wrapped in steamed rice paper, it was really good, the combination of crispy and soft made it excellent. Other dishes included soy sauce fried noodles, fried taro topped with crispy fried flour, siu mai, fried turnip cake and deep fried bean curd, with shrimp inside. Everything was really excellent. read more
