Weekday hours for breakfast are 6am through 10am, so don't sleep in! The breakfast spread is decent, as my mum thoroughly enjoyed the omelette station and the small selection of dim sum. I like the small salad bar next to the omelette station! The baked pastry selection was so-so, so I opted for more of the fresh cut fruit. The coffee machine and tea selection were standard, but I've had better. Overall, if you're paying out of pocket, I think you're better off checking out eateries in Tung Chung for something more authentic. However, In comparison, I do think the HKG Regal Airport hotel's breakfast spread was better!

There is an English menu which is great and you just fill in the little form with what you want. There is a menu on the table with some pictures if you don't know what the food items are in the form. Make sure to wave your hand to get someones attention to give in your form. The tea that the waiter brings out is automatically added to your bill as a "service tax" which is fine. You have to sit where you are told to. My husband wanted to sit somewhere else, but in true 'soup nazi' style, they told him he couldn't move seats. Lol Also if you come by yourself, be prepared to share a table with other people - and you sit right next to them. Space is limited in HK so just get use to it! The food was fresh, hot and delicious. Reasonably priced for dumplings and we always left feeling stuffed. I believe we ordered 6 dishes between two and it was always a bit too much! Service is standard in HK, not friendly but not rude either. I would describe the service as efficient.

Of course, they have other stuff you can order. It is a 酒家 afterall. Anyway, this restaurant is a lot fancier and a lot more comfortable than the one I usually go to to bring live seafood. There was more space and it feels a little classier. It's more expensive but you get what you paid for in terms of comfort and better ambience while the food is still very good. Service was very good too.

I ordered a prawn mee with less spice, prawn and squid wings, while my sister ordered one with normal spiciness, prawn and shredded chicken. The flavours were so rich and fishy! You could really taste the shrimp flavour, and the entire red coating on top of the broth is from the shrimp head (the shrimp is boiled for hours to make the broth). Very delicious! My pho noodles were overcooked and therefore very short - they would break apart at the touch of my chopsticks. My sister got the mixed noodles (thick yellow noodles with rice noodles) and found it interesting. A very filling and satisfying meal!
