The dim sum here is above average and is priced a bit on the high end. Yue serves the classic dim sum dishes as well as some more innovative specialties. It is cooked in a large clay pot which leads some nice crispy bits of rice. The fried scallop and spring onion provides a nice combination of flavors to the dish. Dried scallops are often too salty and overpowering but that is not the case here. The shrimp dumplings, rice rolls and chicken feet are also solid as well. There is a pretty extensive dessert offering so do save some room for dessert.

Mom is really pleased with the prices, tea is only HKD 7 per person, and most dim sum goes from HKD 16-24, about US$2-3 each plate. According to her, many places charge more than that for tea time specials. I would recommend everyone try out their Steamed Malay Cake - the flavour and texture is done a lot better than some other restaurants in the area. Although their dimsum isn't cheap, it is good and you have to remember Hong Kong Gold Coast is a tourist destination. DINNER IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE Even the white rice is bad. I think they aren't able to hire a good chef and I've been back once to see if they had improved since I had my first dinner soon after their soft opening. No change - just as bad. But if you find yourself here at night, be sure to order something that isn't light or white in color, order the deep fried, heavy seasoning dishes.
