I wanted the foot massage but it was too busy so they offered me a 25 min neck and shoulder massage for $168. They take you back to this large dimly lit room where other people are getting foot massages and chair massages. They had me in one of those chair massage and the lady went to work on my shoulders. It was a great massage and I didn't realize how tight my shoulders were until I started hearing all this crackling noises. It's probably more expensive than those hole in the wall places, but it's very relaxing.

My husband was recommended by the concierge to go to this establishment. Knowing we had to walk more was a discourage. But we were assured it was a very short walk. I was so thankful we still went. It was a short walk less then 5 minutes. I got the 50-minute reflex foot massage with soaking jacuzzi foot-bath. The inside was very clean and well designed as well as very relaxing. The staff from the front to the back were all very nice and professional. The masseuse I got was an amazing guy that has been doing this for 10 yrs (I wish I could remember his name!). He could very well be a "master". Just by a few touches at my pressure points; he could tell so much that was surprisingly very accurate about my current health (sleep, blood pressure, water balance, ect). By the time we were done it was like I was walking on air and all discomfort I had was completely gone. I slept like a baby that night. If or when I ever make it back to Hong Kong I will be sure to make it here multiple times!!!

This was a fantastic foot massage experience. Professional, welcoming, meditative, tranquil,…read morerelaxing, boutique spa feeling. It smelled absolutely lovely, there was a smiling welcoming face behind the registration desk when we stepped off the elevator into the calming, dimly lit lobby area ...all the touch points of a great spa experience. You pay for the experience of all these great customer service points (price was $360HKD, just feet, short a little tip....50 minutes), but if you are looking for just feet and not the "experience of tranquility," I am certain you could find it less expensive elsewhere. Wrapped up in the cost is an unspoken level of experience. Let it also be said that this is my first foot massage in Hong Kong and thus my bar of expectation has been raised. I have had countless reflexology treatments in the US, but it is just not the same to the real deal you can get in Hong Kong. My husband says that compared to this, I will be dissappointed with the esthetic, feeling and atmosphere of other massage spots in Hong Kong, but maybe not disspointed with the actual service. We did not have an appointment and had to wait for about ten minutes for both my husband and I to be taken on a Sunday afternoon. We were in a communal room with eight other chairs, although they do have private rooms for parties or just solo stuff I suppose. Rooms and chairs are tastefully decorated...wood, tile, cream colors, dim light, clean. They were completely full and room was busy, but still respectfully quite, tranquil and relaxing. After a short neck and upper back massage that is simply part of the routine to their foot massage experience, I found my esthetician to be brutal and beautiful. I suppose I prefer a foot massage that really digs in there and works things out versus fluffy rubbing. I am certain she would have taylored it back in the pressure had I asked, but it was great. She had good kneeding thumbs and fingers to really work on my feet and calves. She was good at her craft...it was clearly not her first rodeo! They have healthy drinks you can purchase and also have pedicure options. Another thing I noticed...everyone is in the company uniform, so you notice the corporate culture touch through the uniformity of look. I really enjoyed my experience at Ten Feet Tall and look forward to returning. You feel so good upon leaving, the question on tipping becomes a question in my American head (we tip the US...we just do...it is a custom...)...it was such a good experience, I just want to give them a tip. This was the only question and topic of debate in my head upon departure.

Sure, it's pricier than Happy Foot, or other foot massage places in the area, but I'm coming here for more than a rub down. I want to feel relaxed and spend the next 50, 75, or 100 minutes in a tranquil environment. The common area rooms here are just as good as the private rooms, so don't waste your money on that. There's free wifi and a nice juice menu. They also offer "happy hour" specials (discounts on foot massages during downtime hours) during the week, so take advantage!

I love massage and am a spa junkie, so when I chanced upon this place for foot steaming, I thought,…read moresounds cool! I sat down in a comfy sofa and stuck my legs into a knee-high wooden bucket. The staff mixed some Chinese medicinal herbs into the water, and soon steam came out from the bottom of the bucket up my feet and legs. I was offered tea, and given a remote control to adjust the temperature. I guess I was over ambitious, and had to turn the dial a few times to avoid cooking my feet. There is free wifi, and an outlet next to my chair, so I can charge my phone and go online (a blessing when travelling!) Honestly I didn't expect my whole body to be sweating, but gosh I couldn't sweat more if I were in a full sauna! My legs felt amazing afterwards!! Like walking on clouds! A day's tiredness evaporated and I felt all fresh and ready to do more walking and shopping! It felt even better than an average foot massage. The very friendly lady told me that steaming is better than a foot bath as the temperature is kept higher. So, after a couple of days, I went back, taking a curious hubby along. He totally enjoyed every minute of his leg steaming. He set the heat low so he was comfortable the whole time. For me, I got even more adventurous and tried the whole body steaming, where I laid on a bed with a human-shape cut out. The bed was rather small. I am petite and fit in fine but a big guy may find his legs dangling outside the bed. After the steaming, I had red patches on my body. They were not burns, as they weren't painful and disappeared after a few hours, though meanwhile I looked like an abuse victim. Those patches indicated areas where my chi was not flowing smoothly, and did correspond to where I usually have pains and aches (left shoulder, right elbow, etc.) (Similarly, in cupping and gua-sha, supposedly you get bruises only where there are chi blockages.) Again, a very rejuvenating treatment. I just wish my stay in Hong Kong were longer so I can go back a few more times. They also offer facial steams which I'm curious to try too. Cost: legs 30 min for HKD98 (approx US$13) body 30 min HKD 188 (approx $25)

Previously, I just walked in to an unknown massage place while exploring. However, this location, I actually searched. As I walked in to a dark massage area, I was led to a tiny bathroom to change into the shorts and shirt they provided. There were no areas to place our clothes, so I had to keep it with me. As I opted for a foot massage. I sat in a chair that reclined and the masseuse got to work. The massage was okay, but not the greatest. The pressure was a little weak. I asked for more pressure but it didn't seem much different. The prices were slightly higher than the other massage establishments in the area so maybe my expectation was a little higher. Overall, my experience was okay. It just wasn't the 4.6 star rating I was expecting.

Roughly $35-40 for 50 minutes! SO...My husband went to go check it out beforehand and comes back to my step-daughter and me and said "You'll love it!" He spoke with Jackie and she made wonderful suggestions based on our needs. Yuen is located just a few blocks from our hotel, so look for the sign, take the elevator to the 15th floor. You will be warmly greeted in absolutely euphoric atmosphere and very clean. You would have never guessed such a glorious place existed in an office like building. Slippers are provided. After waiting just a few minutes we were whisked to a room with 2 beds for my step-daughter and me. Masseuses were phenomenal, complete quiet relaxation. Post massage, warm tea and a gelatin like dessert was served - very tasty. Husband also decided to get a 50 minute foot massage while we got massages and scrub and all 3 of use received treatments for ~$110 USD. Jackie who helped us was an excellent and gracious hostess, everything was professional and yes.....worth every single penny. This experience is definitely worth a visit when in this neighborhood or a tourist looking for a massage after long travel!
