I had breakfast and dinner here and they hit the spot. Whether it's breakfast eggs, congee, noodles, all are nothing special but does the in job quickly. For dinner, the pork chop bakes rice, or BBQ meat with rice, all taste good and fine, not spectacular. For the BBQ items, it's not anything specific, just does the job. They are efficient, though sometimes you wonder why the simplest things take a while, like white rice. They have this Wintermelon soup that comes in a mini Wintermelon, amazing for a fast food joint. I'd still come again and again

You should too. Café de Coral provided me a quiet place to sit, feed my hunger, quench my thirst, and lounge for as long as I needed to recover. The food was good, but the seating and atmosphere was superb. The eating area was roomy, well-maintained, and comfortable. Best of all, seating was plentiful.

It will be bused fairly quickly. Better yet, have someone hold the table while you go place the order. They offer an expansive menu so you should be able to find something to your taste. The set meals are definitely good deals and they come with a free beverage. On this day, we ordered the Chicken a la Portugaise with Rice and the Baked Spaghetti Bolognese. Both came out quickly and hot. The Chicken was not too spicy. Both the meat and the potatoes were tender. The Spaghetti could have used maybe a little more cheese but it was very saucy and the flavor was good. Although Cafe de Coral is a fast food restaurant chain, the quality of food and the price point ought to be given praise.

I like this place better than it's North Point counterpart although I'm probably a little biased…read moresince it's so close to my apartment. However, I do think the layout is better, and it's table service and not that weird thing where you order and then sit but then you can't because people do it the other way around thing. Basically, it's objectively and subjectively better. You basically get the same wings deal but without all the awkwardness. Oh yeah, they have 3 dollars wings on Tuesdays-my raison d'etre for going to either location. They have to be in orders of six though and it is pretty no frills you just get the wings, if you want celery and ranch it's extra. I've tried most of their flavors from mild (don't bother they might as well just be naked) to their hottest (it will do the trick.) I would stick with the more 'traditional' flavors because the other ones are too sweet in my opinion. I will say their non wing options are also okay. I've had their bacon cheeseburger which is a pretty decent pick. The bacon sandwich looks huge but I've eaten it twice and I've felt like I could eat again. I will say to stay away from the shake, I had the oreo shake and aside from the cookie it didn't have much flavor.
